بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [2:167] | Waqala allatheena ittabaAAoolaw anna lana karratan fanatabarraa minhum kamatabarraoo minna kathalika yureehimu AllahuaAAmalahum hasaratin AAalayhim wamahum bikharijeena mina alnnari
| وقال الذين اتبعوا لو أن لنا كرة فنتبرأ منهم كما تبرءوا منا كذلك يريهم الله أعمالهم حسرات عليهم وما هم بخارجين من النار وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُواْ لَوْ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةً فَنَتَبَرَّأَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَبَرَّؤُواْ مِنَّا كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ حَسَرَاتٍ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَا هُم بِخَارِجِينَ مِنَ النَّارِ |
Words | |وقال - And said| الذين - those who| اتبعوا - followed,| لو - "(Only) if| أن - [that]| لنا - for us| كرة - a return,| فنتبرأ - then we will disown| منهم - [from] them| كما - as| تبرءوا - they disown| منا - [from] us."| كذلك - Thus| يريهم - will show them| الله - Allah| أعمالهم - their deeds| حسرات - (as) regrets| عليهم - for them.| وما - And not| هم - they| بخارجين - will come out| من - from| النار - the Fire.| |

| እነዚያም የተከተሉት «ለእኛ (ወደ ቅርቢቱ ዓለም) አንዲት ጊዜ መመለስ በኖረችንና ከእኛ እንደተጥራሩ ከእነርሱ በተጥራራን እንመኛለን» ይላሉ፡፡ እንደዚሁ አላህ ሥራዎቻቸውን በነርሱ ላይ ጸጸቶች አድርጎ ያሳያቸዋል፡፡ እነርሱም ከእሳት ወጪዎች አይደሉም፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { وقال الذين اتَّبعوا لو أن لنا كرَّة } رجعة إلى الدنيا { فنتبرَّأ منهم } أي المتبوعين { كما تبرءوا منا } اليوم ولو للتمني ونتبرأ جوابه { كذلك } أي كما أراهم شدة عذابه وتبرأ بعضهم من بعض { يريهم الله أعمالهم } السيئة { حسرات } حال ندامات { عليهم وما هم بخارجين من النار } بعد دخولها . |
| ad inin uvfiôen: "a lemmer a nu$al, a ten nzekkeô akken i $ zekkôen"! Akka ay sen Issken Öebbi igiten nnsen. A yamxix nnsen, ur d teff$en si tmes! |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং অনুসারীরা বলবে, কতইনা ভাল হত, যদি আমাদিগকে পৃথিবীতে ফিরে যাবার সুযোগ দেয়া হত। তাহলে আমরাও তাদের প্রতি তেমনি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যেতাম, যেমন তারা অসন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে আমাদের প্রতি। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাদেরকে দেখাবেন তাদের কৃতকর্ম তাদেরকে অনুতপ্ত করার জন্যে। অথচ, তারা কস্মিনকালেও আগুন থেকে বের হতে পারবে না। |
Literal | And those who were followed said: "If that (there) was for us a return/second time so we declare innocence/separate from them, as they declared innocence/renounced from us." Like that God shows them their deeds grief/sorrow on them, and they are not with getting out from the fire. |
Yusuf Ali | And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire. |
Pickthal | And those who were but followers will say: If a return were possible for us, we would disown them even as they have disowned us. Thus will Allah show them their own deeds as anguish for them, and they will not emerge from the Fire. |
Arberry | and those that followed say, 'O if only we might return again and disown them, as they have disowned us!' Even so God shall show them their works. O bitter regrets for them! Never shall they issue from the Fire. |
Shakir | And those who followed shall say: Had there been for us a return, then we would renounce them as they have renounced us. Thus will Allah show them their deeds to be intense regret to them, and they shall not come forth from the fire. |
Sarwar | The followers will say, "Had we had the chance we also would have denounced our leaders." That is how God will show them their regrettable deeds. They will not be able to escape from hell fire. |
H/K/Saheeh | Those who followed will say, "If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated themselves from us." Thus will Allah show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire. |
Malik | The followers will say: "If it could be possible for us to live again, we would renounce them as they have renounced us today." Thus Allah will show them the fruits of their deeds. They will sigh with regret, and shall not be able to come out of the Hell fire.[167] |
Maulana Ali** | And those who followed will say: If we could but return, we would renounce them as they have renounced us. Thus will Allah show them their deeds to be intense regret to them, and they will not escape from the Fire. |
Free Minds | And those who followed them said: "If we only could have a chance to disown them as they have disowned us." It is such that God will show them their works which will be regretted by them; they will not leave the Fire. |
Qaribullah | those who followed them will say: 'If only that we might return once, and disown them as they have disowned us. ' As such Allah will show them their own works to be regrets for them, and they shall never emerge from the Fire. |
George Sale | the followers shall say, if we could return to life, we would separate our selves from them, as they have now separated themselves from us. So God will shew them their works; they shall sigh grievously and shall not come forth from the fire of hell. |
JM Rodwell | The followers shall say, "Could we but return to life we would keep ourselves clear from them, as they have declared themselves clear of us." So will God shew them their works! Sighing is upon them! but, forth from the fire they come not. |
Asad | And then those followers shall say: "Would that we had a second chance [in life], so that we could disown them as they have disowned us!" Thus will God show them their works [in a manner that will cause them] batter regrets; but they will not come out of the fire. |
Khalifa** | Those who followed will say, "If we can get another chance, we will disown them, as they have disowned us now." GOD thus shows them the consequences of their works as nothing but remorse; they will never exit Hell. |
Hilali/Khan** | And those who followed will say: "If only we had one more chance to return (to the worldly life), we would disown (declare ourselves as innocent from) them as they have disowned (declared themselves as innocent from) us." Thus Allah will show them their deeds as regrets for them. And they will never get out of the Fire . |
QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | Those who followed will say, "If a return were possible for us, we would disown them as they have disowned us." Thus it is: Allah will show their own doings as remorse for them, and they will not emerge from this Fire of Regret. |
| ja ne, jotka olivat seuranneet esikuviaan, sanovat: »Olisipa meillä joku palaamisen mahdollisuus, niin me luopuisimme heistä, kuten he ovat luopuneet meistä.» Niin on Jumala heidän kauhukseen näyttävä heille heidän omat tekonsa, eivätkä he tule pääsemään pois Tulesta. |
| Na tharoon o siran a miyamangonot a: "Oba adn bo a kaphakakasoy tano (sa doniya), ka taplisn tano siran, sa lagid o kiyataplisa iran rktano." Lagid oto a kaphakiilayn kiran o Allah ko manga galbk iran a mipzsndit iran. Go di siran phamakaawa ko naraka. |
Ahmed Raza Khan | اور کہیں گے پیرو کاش ہمیں لوٹ کر جانا ہوتا (دنیا میں) تو ہم ان سے توڑ دیتے جیسے انہوں نے ہم سے توڑ دی، یونہی اللہ انہیں دکھائے گا ان کے کام ان پر حسرتیں ہوکر اور وہ دوزخ سے نکلنے والے نہیں |
Shabbir Ahmed | اور کہیں گے وہ جنہوں نے پیروی کی تھی: کاش کہ ہوتا ہمارے لیے ایک موقعہ پھر (دُنیا میں جانے کا) تو بیزاری کا اظہار کرتے ہم بھی ان سے اسی طرح جیسے بیزاری ظاہر کی ہے انہوں نے ہم سے۔ اس طرح بنا دکھائے گا اللہ ان کے اعمال کو حسرت و پشیمانی ان کے لیے۔ اور ہرگز نہیں نکل سکیں گے وہ دوزخ سے۔ |
Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | (یہ حال دیکھ کر) پیروی کرنے والے (حسرت سے) کہیں گے کہ اے کاش ہمیں پھر دنیا میں جانا نصیب ہو تاکہ جس طرح یہ ہم سے بیزار ہو رہے ہیں اسی طرح ہم بھی ان سے بیزار ہوں۔ اسی طرح خدا ان کے اعمال انہیں حسرت بنا کر دکھائے گااور وہ دوزخ سے نکل نہیں سکیں گے |
Mehmood Al Hassan | اور کہیں گے پیرو کیا اچھا ہوتا جو ہم کو دنیا کی طرف لوٹ جانا مل جاتا تو پھر ہم بھی بیزار ہو جاتے ان سے جیسے یہ ہم سے بیزار ہو گئے اسی طرح پر دکھلائے گا اللہ ان کو ان کے کام حسرت دلانے کو اور وہ ہرگز نکلنے والے نہیں مار سے |
Abul Ala Maududi | اور وہ لوگ جو دنیا میں اُن کی پیروی کرتے تھے، کہیں گے کہ کاش ہم کو پھر ایک موقع دیا جاتا تو جس طرح آج یہ ہم سے بیزاری ظاہر کر رہے ہیں، ہم اِن سے بیزار ہو کر دکھا دیتے یوں اللہ اِن لوگوں کے وہ اعمال جو یہ دنیا میں کر رہے ہیں، ان کے سامنے اِس طرح لائے گا کہ یہ حسرتوں اور پشیمانیوں کے ساتھ ہاتھ ملتے رہیں گے مگر آگ سے نکلنے کی کوئی راہ نہ پائیں گے |
