| 1 [2:7] | Khatama Allahu AAala quloobihimwaAAala samAAihim waAAala absarihim ghishawatunwalahum AAathabun AAatheemun |  ختم الله على قلوبهم وعلى سمعهم وعلى أبصارهم غشاوة ولهم عذاب عظيمخَتَمَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَّلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ختم - Has set a seal| الله - Allah| على - on| قلوبهم - their hearts| وعلى - and on| سمعهم - their hearing,| وعلى - and on| أبصارهم - their vision| غشاوة - (is) a veil.| ولهم - And for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:10] | Fee quloobihim maradun fazadahumuAllahu maradan walahum AAathabun aleemun bimakanoo yakthiboona | في قلوبهم مرض فزادهم الله مرضا ولهم عذاب أليم بما كانوا يكذبون فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللّهُ مَرَضاً وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |في - In| قلوبهم - their hearts| مرض - (is) a disease,| فزادهم - so has increased them| الله - Allah| مرضا - (in) disease;| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكذبون - [they] lie.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:90] | Bi/sama ishtaraw bihi anfusahum anyakfuroo bima anzala Allahu baghyan an yunazzilaAllahu min fadlihi AAala man yashaomin AAibadihi fabaoo bighadabin AAalaghadabin walilkafireena AAathabun muheenun | بئسما اشتروا به أنفسهم أن يكفروا بما أنزل الله بغيا أن ينزل الله من فضله على من يشاء من عباده فباءوا بغضب على غضب وللكافرين عذاب مهين بِئْسَمَا اشْتَرَوْاْ بِهِ أَنْفُسَهُمْ أَنْ يَّكْفُرُواْ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللّهُ بَغْياً أَنْ يُّنَزِّلُ اللّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ عَلَى مَنْ يَّشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ فَبَآؤُواْ بِغَضَبٍ عَلَى غَضَبٍ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |بئسما - Evil (is) that| اشتروا - (for) which they have sold| به - with| أنفسهم - themselves,| أن - that| يكفروا - they disbelieve| بما - in what| أنزل - has revealed| الله - Allah,| بغيا - grudging| أن - that| ينزل - sends down| الله - Allah| من - of| فضله - His Grace| على - on| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| من - from| عباده - His servants.| فباءوا - So they have drawn (on themselves)| بغضب - wrath| على - upon| غضب - wrath.| وللكافرين - And for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مهين - humiliating.| | ||||||
| 4 [2:104] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola taqooloo raAAina waqooloo onthurnawaismaAAoo walilkafireena AAathabun aleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقولوا راعنا وقولوا انظرنا واسمعوا وللكافرين عذاب أليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقُولُواْ رَاعِنَا وَقُولُواْ انظُرْنَا وَاسْمَعُوا ْوَلِلكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| لا - "(Do) not| تقولوا - say| راعنا - "Raina"| وقولوا - and say| انظرنا - "Unzurna"| واسمعوا - and listen.| وللكافرين - And for the disbelievers| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 5 [2:114] | Waman athlamu mimman manaAAamasajida Allahi an yuthkara feehaismuhu wasaAAa fee kharabiha ola-ikama kana lahum an yadkhulooha illa kha-ifeenalahum fee alddunya khizyun walahum fee al-akhiratiAAathabun AAatheemun | ومن أظلم ممن منع مساجد الله أن يذكر فيها اسمه وسعى في خرابها أولئك ما كان لهم أن يدخلوها إلا خائفين لهم في الدنيا خزي ولهم في الآخرة عذاب عظيم وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّن مَّنَعَ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ أَن يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ وَسَعَى فِي خَرَابِهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ مَا كَانَ لَهُمْ أَن يَدْخُلُوهَا إِلاَّ خَآئِفِينَ لهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا خِزْيٌ وَلَهُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| منع - prevents| مساجد - (the) masajid| الله - (of) Allah| أن - to| يذكر - be mentioned| فيها - in them| اسمه - His name,| وسعى - and strives| في - for| خرابها - their destruction?| أولئك - Those!| ما - Not| كان - it is| لهم - for them| أن - that| يدخلوها - they enter them| إلا - except| خائفين - (like) those in fear.| لهم - For them| في - in| الدنيا - the world| خزي - (is) disgrace| ولهم - and for them| في - in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 6 [2:126] | Wa-ith qala ibraheemurabbi ijAAal hatha baladan aminan waorzuqahlahu mina alththamarati man amana minhumbiAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri qalawaman kafara faomattiAAuhu qaleelan thumma adtarruhu ilaAAathabi alnnari wabi/sa almaseeru | وإذ قال إبراهيم رب اجعل هذا بلدا آمنا وارزق أهله من الثمرات من آمن منهم بالله واليوم الآخر قال ومن كفر فأمتعه قليلا ثم أضطره إلى عذاب النار وبئس المصير وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـَذَا بَلَدًا آمِنًا وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُم بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلاً ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| قال - said| إبراهيم - Ibrahim,| رب - "My Lord| اجعل - make| هذا - this| بلدا - a city| آمنا - secure| وارزق - and provide| أهله - its people| من - with| الثمرات - fruits,| من - (to) whoever| آمن - believed| منهم - from them| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,"| قال - He said,| ومن - "And whoever| كفر - disbelieved,| فأمتعه - [then] I will grant him enjoyment| قليلا - a little;| ثم - then| أضطره - I will force him| إلى - to| عذاب - (the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire,| وبئس - and evil| المصير - (is) the destination.| | ||||||
| 7 [2:174] | Inna allatheena yaktumoona maanzala Allahu mina alkitabi wayashtaroona bihithamanan qaleelan ola-ika ma ya/kuloona fee butoonihimilla alnnara wala yukallimuhumu Allahuyawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahum AAathabunaleemun | إن الذين يكتمون ما أنزل الله من الكتاب ويشترون به ثمنا قليلا أولئك ما يأكلون في بطونهم إلا النار ولا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب أليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَشْتَرُونَ بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً أُولَـئِكَ مَا يَأْكُلُونَ فِي بُطُونِهِمْ إِلاَّ النَّارَ وَلاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| يكتمون - conceal| ما - what| أنزل - (has) revealed| الله - Allah (has)| من - of| الكتاب - the Book,| ويشترون - and they purchase| به - there with| ثمنا - a gain| قليلا - little.| أولئك - Those,| ما - not| يأكلون - they eat| في - in| بطونهم - their bellies| إلا - except| النار - the Fire.| ولا - And not| يكلمهم - will speak to them| الله - Allah| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) [the] Judgment| ولا - and not| يزكيهم - will He purify them,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 8 [2:178] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookutiba AAalaykumu alqisasu fee alqatla alhurrubialhurri waalAAabdu bialAAabdi waalonthabialontha faman AAufiya lahu min akheehi shay-on faittibaAAunbialmaAAroofi waadaon ilayhi bi-ihsaninthalika takhfeefun min rabbikum warahmatun famaniiAAtada baAAda thalika falahu AAathabunaleemun | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كتب عليكم القصاص في القتلى الحر بالحر والعبد بالعبد والأنثى بالأنثى فمن عفي له من أخيه شيء فاتباع بالمعروف وأداء إليه بإحسان ذلك تخفيف من ربكم ورحمة فمن اعتدى بعد ذلك فله عذاب أليم يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِي الْقَتْلَى الْحُرُّ بِالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَالْأُنثَى بِالْأُنثَى فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَهُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ شَيْءٌ فَاتِّبَاعٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَاءٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَانٍ ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَهُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe[d]!| كتب - Prescribed| عليكم - for you| القصاص - (is) the legal retribution| في - in| القتلى - (the matter of) the murdered,| الحر - the freeman| بالحر - for the freeman,| والعبد - and the slave| بالعبد - for the slave,| والأنثى - and the female| بالأنثى - for the female.| فمن - But whoever| عفي - is pardoned| له - [for it]| من - from| أخيه - his brother| شيء - anything,| فاتباع - then follows up| بالمعروف - with suitable| وأداء - [and] payment| إليه - to him| بإحسان - with kindness.| ذلك - That (is)| تخفيف - a concession| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| ورحمة - and mercy.| فمن - Then whoever| اعتدى - transgresses| بعد - after| ذلك - that,| فله - then for him| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| | ||||||
| 9 [2:201] | Waminhum man yaqoolu rabbana atinafee alddunya hasanatan wafee al-akhiratihasanatan waqina AAathaba alnnari | ومنهم من يقول ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار وِمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |ومنهم - And from those| من - who| يقول - say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| آتنا - Grant us| في - in| الدنيا - the world| حسنة - good| وفي - and in| الآخرة - the Hereafter| حسنة - good,| وقنا - and save us| عذاب - (from the) punishment| النار - (of) the Fire."| | ||||||
| 10 [3:4] | Min qablu hudan lilnnasiwaanzala alfurqana inna allatheena kafaroo bi-ayatiAllahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun waAllahuAAazeezun thoo intiqamin | من قبل هدى للناس وأنزل الفرقان إن الذين كفروا بآيات الله لهم عذاب شديد والله عزيز ذو انتقام مِن قَبْلُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَنزَلَ الْفُرْقَانَ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِآيَاتِ اللّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انتِقَامٍ | |||||
| Words | |من - From| قبل - before (this),| هدى - (as) guidance| للناس - for the mankind.| وأنزل - And (He) revealed| الفرقان - the Criterion.| إن - Verily,| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve[d]| بآيات - in (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah,| لهم - for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| شديد - severe.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| ذو - All-Able| انتقام - (of) retribution.| | ||||||
| 11 [3:16] | Allatheena yaqooloona rabbanainnana amanna faighfir lana thunoobanawaqina AAathaba alnnari | الذين يقولون ربنا إننا آمنا فاغفر لنا ذنوبنا وقنا عذاب النار الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ | |||||

| 12 [3:77] | Inna allatheena yashtaroona biAAahdiAllahi waaymanihim thamanan qaleelan ola-ikala khalaqa lahum fee al-akhirati walayukallimuhumu Allahu wala yanthuruilayhim yawma alqiyamati wala yuzakkeehim walahumAAathabun aleemun | إن الذين يشترون بعهد الله وأيمانهم ثمنا قليلا أولئك لا خلاق لهم في الآخرة ولا يكلمهم الله ولا ينظر إليهم يوم القيامة ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب أليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلاً أُوْلَـئِكَ لاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلاَ يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللّهُ وَلاَ يَنظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلاَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||

| 13 [3:91] | Inna allatheena kafaroo wamatoowahum kuffarun falan yuqbala min ahadihim miloal-ardi thahaban walawi iftada bihi ola-ikalahum AAathabun aleemun wama lahum min nasireena | إن الذين كفروا وماتوا وهم كفار فلن يقبل من أحدهم ملء الأرض ذهبا ولو افتدى به أولئك لهم عذاب أليم وما لهم من ناصرين إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَمَاتُواْ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِم مِّلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَى بِهِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ | |||||

| 14 [3:105] | Wala takoonoo kaallatheenatafarraqoo waikhtalafoo min baAAdi ma jaahumualbayyinatu waola-ika lahum AAathabun AAatheemun | ولا تكونوا كالذين تفرقوا واختلفوا من بعد ما جاءهم البينات وأولئك لهم عذاب عظيم وَلاَ تَكُونُواْ كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُواْ وَاخْتَلَفُواْ مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||

| 15 [3:176] | Wala yahzunka allatheenayusariAAoona fee alkufri innahum lan yadurroo Allahashay-an yureedu Allahu alla yajAAala lahum haththanfee al-akhirati walahum AAathabun AAatheemun | ولا يحزنك الذين يسارعون في الكفر إنهم لن يضروا الله شيئا يريد الله ألا يجعل لهم حظا في الآخرة ولهم عذاب عظيم وَلاَ يَحْزُنكَ الَّذِينَ يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْكُفْرِ إِنَّهُمْ لَن يَضُرُّواْ اللّهَ شَيْئاً يُرِيدُ اللّهُ أَلاَّ يَجْعَلَ لَهُمْ حَظًّا فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||

| 16 [3:177] | Inna allatheena ishtarawoo alkufrabial-eemani lan yadurroo Allahashay-an walahum AAathabun aleemun | إن الذين اشتروا الكفر بالإيمان لن يضروا الله شيئا ولهم عذاب أليم إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ لَن يَضُرُّواْ اللّهَ شَيْئًا وَلهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||

| 17 [3:178] | Wala yahsabanna allatheenakafaroo annama numlee lahum khayrun li-anfusihim innamanumlee lahum liyazdadoo ithman walahum AAathabunmuheenun | ولا يحسبن الذين كفروا أنما نملي لهم خير لأنفسهم إنما نملي لهم ليزدادوا إثما ولهم عذاب مهين وَلاَ يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ لِّأَنفُسِهِمْ إِنَّمَا نُمْلِي لَهُمْ لِيَزْدَادُواْ إِثْمًا وَلَهْمُ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ | |||||

| 18 [3:181] | Laqad samiAAa Allahu qawla allatheenaqaloo inna Allaha faqeerun wanahnu aghniyaonsanaktubu ma qaloo waqatlahumu al-anbiyaabighayri haqqin wanaqoolu thooqoo AAathabaalhareeqi | لقد سمع الله قول الذين قالوا إن الله فقير ونحن أغنياء سنكتب ما قالوا وقتلهم الأنبياء بغير حق ونقول ذوقوا عذاب الحريق لَّقَدْ سَمِعَ اللّهُ قَوْلَ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ فَقِيرٌ وَنَحْنُ أَغْنِيَاءُ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَالُواْ وَقَتْلَهُمُ الأَنبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَنَقُولُ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ | |||||

| 19 [3:188] | La tahsabanna allatheenayafrahoona bima ataw wayuhibboona an yuhmadoobima lam yafAAaloo fala tahsabannahum bimafazatinmina alAAathabi walahum AAathabun aleemun | لا تحسبن الذين يفرحون بما أتوا ويحبون أن يحمدوا بما لم يفعلوا فلا تحسبنهم بمفازة من العذاب ولهم عذاب أليم لاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أَتَواْ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحْمَدُواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَفْعَلُواْ فَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّهُمْ بِمَفَازَةٍ مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ | |||||
