[2:7] | Khatama Allahu AAala quloobihimwaAAala samAAihim waAAala absarihim ghishawatunwalahum AAathabun AAatheemun
|  ختم الله على قلوبهم وعلى سمعهم وعلى أبصارهم غشاوة ولهم عذاب عظيم
خَتَمَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهمْ وَعَلَى سَمْعِهِمْ وَعَلَى أَبْصَارِهِمْ غِشَاوَةٌ وَّلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ |
| Words | |ختم - Has set a seal| الله - Allah| على - on| قلوبهم - their hearts| وعلى - and on| سمعهم - their hearing,| وعلى - and on| أبصارهم - their vision| غشاوة - (is) a veil.| ولهم - And for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| عظيم - great.| |

| አላህ በልቦቻቸው ላይ በመስሚያቸውም ላይ አትሞባቸዋል፤ በዓይኖቻቸውም ላይ መሸፈኛ አልለ፤ ለነሱም ታላቅ ቅጣት አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ختم الله على قلوبهم } طبع عليها واستوثق فلا يدخلها خير { وعلى سمعهم } أي مواضعه فلا ينتفعون بما يسمعونه من الحق { وعلى أبصارهم غشاوة } غطاء فلا يبصرون الحق { ولهم عذاب عظيم } قوي دائم. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তকরণ এবং তাদের কানসমূহ বন্ধ করে দিয়েছেন, আর তাদের চোখসমূহ পর্দায় ঢেকে দিয়েছেন। আর তাদের জন্য রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি। |
