[3:177] | Inna allatheena ishtarawoo alkufrabial-eemani lan yadurroo Allahashay-an walahum AAathabun aleemun
|  إن الذين اشتروا الكفر بالإيمان لن يضروا الله شيئا ولهم عذاب أليم
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُاْ الْكُفْرَ بِالْإِيمَانِ لَن يَضُرُّواْ اللّهَ شَيْئًا وَلهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ |
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الذين - those who| اشتروا - (have) purchased| الكفر - [the] disbelief| بالإيمان - with the faith| لن - never| يضروا - will they harm| الله - Allah| شيئا - (in) anything,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| أليم - painful.| |

| እነዚያ ክህደትን በእምነት የለወጡ አላህን በምንም ነገር ፈጽሞ አይጎዱትም፡፡ ለእነሱም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إن الذين اشتروا الكفر بالإيمان } أي أخذوه بدله { لن يضروا الله } بكفرهم { شيئا ولهم عذاب أليم } مؤلم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যারা ঈমানের পরিবর্তে কুফর ক্রয় করে নিয়েছে, তারা আল্লাহ তা’আলার কিছুই ক্ষতিসাধন করতে পারবে না। আর তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তি। |
| Literal | That those who bought the disbelief with the faith/belief, they will never/not harm God a thing, and for them (is) a painful torture.45 |
| Yusuf Ali | Those who purchase Unbelief at the price of faith,- not the least harm will they do to Allah, but they will have a grievous punishment. |
