| 1 [2:173] | Innama harrama AAalaykumualmaytata waalddama walahma alkhinzeeri wamaohilla bihi lighayri Allahi famani idturra ghayra baghinwala AAadin fala ithma AAalayhi inna Allahaghafoorun raheemun |  إنما حرم عليكم الميتة والدم ولحم الخنزير وما أهل به لغير الله فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فلا إثم عليه إن الله غفور رحيمإِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةَ وَالدَّمَ وَلَحْمَ الْخِنْـزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ بِهِ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| حرم - He has forbidden| عليكم - to you| الميتة - the dead animals,| والدم - and [the] blood,| ولحم - and flesh,| الخنزير - (of) swine,| وما - and what| أهل - has been dedicated| به - [with it]| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah.| فمن - So whoever| اضطر - (is) forced by necessity| غير - without| باغ - (being) disobedient| ولا - and not| عاد - transgressor,| فلا - then no| إثم - sin| عليه - on him.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:275] | Allatheena ya/kuloona alrribala yaqoomoona illa kama yaqoomu allatheeyatakhabbatuhu alshshaytanu mina almassi thalikabi-annahum qaloo innama albayAAu mithlu alrribawaahalla Allahu albayAAa waharrama alrribafaman jaahu mawAAithatun min rabbihi faintahafalahu ma salafa waamruhu ila Allahi wamanAAada faola-ika as-habu alnnarihum feeha khalidoona | الذين يأكلون الربا لا يقومون إلا كما يقوم الذي يتخبطه الشيطان من المس ذلك بأنهم قالوا إنما البيع مثل الربا وأحل الله البيع وحرم الربا فمن جاءه موعظة من ربه فانتهى فله ما سلف وأمره إلى الله ومن عاد فأولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون الَّذِينَ يَأْكُلُونَ الرِّبَا لاَ يَقُومُونَ إِلاَّ كَمَا يَقُومُ الَّذِي يَتَخَبَّطُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنَ الْمَسِّ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا الْبَيْعُ مِثْلُ الرِّبَا وَأَحَلَّ اللّهُ الْبَيْعَ وَحَرَّمَ الرِّبَا فَمَن جَاءَهُ مَوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ فَانتَهَى فَلَهُ مَا سَلَفَ وَأَمْرُهُ إِلَى اللّهِ وَمَنْ عَادَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| يأكلون - consume| الربا - [the] usury| لا - not| يقومون - they can stand| إلا - except| كما - like| يقوم - stands| الذي - the one who,| يتخبطه - confounds him| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| من - with| المس - (his) touch.| ذلك - That| بأنهم - (is) because they| قالوا - say,| إنما - "Only| البيع - the trade| مثل - (is) like| الربا - [the] usury."| وأحل - While has permitted| الله - Allah| البيع - [the] trade| وحرم - but (has) forbidden| الربا - [the] usury.| فمن - Then whoever -| جاءه - comes to him| موعظة - (the) admonition| من - from| ربه - His Lord| فانتهى - and he refrained,| فله - then for him| ما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| وأمره - and his case| إلى - (is) with| الله - Allah,| ومن - and whoever| عاد - repeated| فأولئك - then those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:95] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola taqtuloo alssayda waantum hurumunwaman qatalahu minkum mutaAAammidan fajazaon mithlu maqatala mina alnnaAAami yahkumu bihi thawaAAadlin minkum hadyan baligha alkaAAbati aw kaffaratuntaAAamu masakeena aw AAadlu thalika siyamanliyathooqa wabala amrihi AAafa AllahuAAamma salafa waman AAada fayantaqimu Allahuminhu waAllahu AAazeezun thoo intiqamin | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا تقتلوا الصيد وأنتم حرم ومن قتله منكم متعمدا فجزاء مثل ما قتل من النعم يحكم به ذوا عدل منكم هديا بالغ الكعبة أو كفارة طعام مساكين أو عدل ذلك صياما ليذوق وبال أمره عفا الله عما سلف ومن عاد فينتقم الله منه والله عزيز ذو انتقام يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لاَ تَقْتُلُواْ الصَّيْدَ وَأَنتُمْ حُرُمٌ وَمَن قَتَلَهُ مِنكُم مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاءٌ مِّثْلُ مَا قَتَلَ مِنَ النَّعَمِ يَحْكُمُ بِهِ ذَوَا عَدْلٍ مِّنكُمْ هَدْيًا بَالِغَ الْكَعْبَةِ أَوْ كَفَّارَةٌ طَعَامُ مَسَاكِينَ أَو عَدْلُ ذَلِكَ صِيَامًا لِّيَذُوقَ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِ عَفَا اللّهُ عَمَّا سَلَف وَمَنْ عَادَ فَيَنتَقِمُ اللّهُ مِنْهُ وَاللّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| لا - (Do) not| تقتلوا - kill| الصيد - the game| وأنتم - while you| حرم - (are in) Ihram.| ومن - And whoever| قتله - killed it| منكم - among you| متعمدا - intentionally,| فجزاء - then penalty| مثل - (is) similar| ما - (to) what| قتل - he killed| من - of| النعم - the cattle,| يحكم - judging| به - it| ذوا - two men,| عدل - just,| منكم - among you| هديا - (as) an offering| بالغ - reaching| الكعبة - the Kabah| أو - or| كفارة - an expiation -| طعام - feeding| مساكين - needy people| أو - or| عدل - equivalent| ذلك - (of) that| صياما - (in) fasting,| ليذوق - that he may taste| وبال - (the) consequence| أمره - (of) his deed.| عفا - Pardoned| الله - (by) Allah| عما - what| سلف - (has) passed,| ومن - but whoever| عاد - returned,| فينتقم - then will take retribution| الله - Allah| منه - from him.| والله - And Allah| عزيز - (is) All-Mighty,| ذو - Owner| انتقام - (of) Retribution.| | ||||||
| 4 [6:145] | Qul la ajidu feema oohiyailayya muharraman AAala taAAimin yatAAamuhuilla an yakoona maytatan aw daman masfoohan aw lahmakhinzeerin fa-innahu rijsun aw fisqan ohilla lighayri Allahibihi famani idturra ghayra baghin wala AAadinfa-inna rabbaka ghafoorun raheemun | قل لا أجد في ما أوحي إلي محرما على طاعم يطعمه إلا أن يكون ميتة أو دما مسفوحا أو لحم خنزير فإنه رجس أو فسقا أهل لغير الله به فمن اضطر غير باغ ولا عاد فإن ربك غفور رحيم قُل لاَّ أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَى طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلاَّ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنْـزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَوْ فِسْقًا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللّهِ بِهِ فَمَنِ اضْطُرَّ غَيْرَ بَاغٍ وَلاَ عَادٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أجد - (do) I find| في - in| ما - what| أوحي - has been revealed| إلي - to me| محرما - (anything) forbidden| على - to| طاعم - an eater| يطعمه - who eats it| إلا - except| أن - that| يكون - it be| ميتة - dead| أو - or| دما - blood| مسفوحا - poured forth| أو - or| لحم - (the) flesh| خنزير - (of) swine -| فإنه - for indeed, it| رجس - (is) filth -| أو - or| فسقا - (it be) disobedience,| أهل - [is] dedicated| لغير - to other than| الله - Allah| به - [on it].| فمن - But whoever| اضطر - (is) compelled| غير - not| باغ - desiring| ولا - and not| عاد - transgressing,| فإن - then indeed,| ربك - your Lord| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful."| | ||||||
| 5 [7:65] | Wa-ila AAadin akhahumhoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu afala tattaqoona | وإلى عاد أخاهم هودا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره أفلا تتقون وَإِلَى عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُوداً قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ أَفَلاَ تَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| عاد - Aad| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| هودا - Hud.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| أفلا - Then will not| تتقون - you fear (Allah)?"| | ||||||
| 6 [7:74] | Waothkuroo ithjaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi AAadin wabawwaakumfee al-ardi tattakhithoona min suhooliha qusooranwatanhitoona aljibala buyootan faothkurooalaa Allahi wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideena | واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد عاد وبوأكم في الأرض تتخذون من سهولها قصورا وتنحتون الجبال بيوتا فاذكروا آلاء الله ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدين وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ عَادٍ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًا وَتَنْحِتُونَ الْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًا فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| جعلكم - He made you| خلفاء - successors| من - from| بعد - after| عاد - Aad,| وبوأكم - and settled you| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| تتخذون - You take| من - from| سهولها - its plains| قصورا - palaces| وتنحتون - and you carve out| الجبال - the mountains| بيوتا - (as) homes.| فاذكروا - So remember| آلاء - (the) Bounties| الله - (of) Allah| ولا - and (do) not| تعثوا - act wickedly| في - in| الأرض - (the) earth| مفسدين - spreading corruption.| | ||||||
| 7 [11:50] | Wa-ila AAadin akhahumhoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu in antum illa muftaroona | وإلى عاد أخاهم هودا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره إن أنتم إلا مفترون وَإِلَى عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ مُفْتَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| عاد - Aad| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| هودا - Hud.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - (is) for you| من - any| إله - god,| غيره - other than Him.| إن - Not| أنتم - You| إلا - (are) but| مفترون - inventors.| | ||||||
| 8 [11:59] | Watilka AAadun jahadoo bi-ayatirabbihim waAAasaw rusulahu waittabaAAoo amra kullijabbarin AAaneedin | وتلك عاد جحدوا بآيات ربهم وعصوا رسله واتبعوا أمر كل جبار عنيد وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ جَحَدُواْ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْاْ رُسُلَهُ وَاتَّبَعُواْ أَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِيدٍ | |||||
| Words | |وتلك - And this| عاد - (was) Aad,| جحدوا - they rejected| بآيات - (the) Signs| ربهم - (of) their Lord| وعصوا - and disobeyed| رسله - His Messengers| واتبعوا - and followed| أمر - (the) command| كل - (of) every| جبار - tyrant| عنيد - obstinate.| | ||||||

| 11 [36:39] | Waalqamara qaddarnahu manazilahatta AAada kaalAAurjooni alqadeemi | والقمر قدرناه منازل حتى عاد كالعرجون القديم وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّى عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ | |||||
| Words | |والقمر - And the moon -| قدرناه - We have ordained for it| منازل - phases| حتى - until,| عاد - it returns| كالعرجون - like the date stalk,| القديم - the old.| | ||||||
| 12 [41:13] | Fa-in aAAradoo fuqul anthartukumsaAAiqatan mithla saAAiqati AAadin wathamooda | فإن أعرضوا فقل أنذرتكم صاعقة مثل صاعقة عاد وثمود فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِّثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - But if| أعرضوا - they turn away,| فقل - then say,| أنذرتكم - "I have warned you| صاعقة - (of) a thunderbolt| مثل - like| صاعقة - (the) thunderbolt| عاد - (of) Aad| وثمود - and Thamud."| | ||||||
| 13 [41:15] | Faamma AAadun faistakbaroofee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi waqaloo manashaddu minna quwwatan awa lam yaraw anna Allahaallathee khalaqahum huwa ashaddu minhum quwwatan wakanoobi-ayatina yajhadoona | فأما عاد فاستكبروا في الأرض بغير الحق وقالوا من أشد منا قوة أولم يروا أن الله الذي خلقهم هو أشد منهم قوة وكانوا بآياتنا يجحدون فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فأما - Then as for| عاد - Aad,| فاستكبروا - they were arrogant| في - in| الأرض - the land| بغير - without| الحق - [the] right| وقالوا - and they said,| من - "Who| أشد - (is) mightier| منا - than us| قوة - (in) strength?"| أولم - Do not| يروا - they see| أن - that| الله - Allah,| الذي - the One Who| خلقهم - created them,| هو - He| أشد - (is) Mightier| منهم - than them| قوة - (in) strength?| وكانوا - But they used to,| بآياتنا - in Our Signs,| يجحدون - deny.| | ||||||
| 14 [46:21] | Waothkur akha AAadinith anthara qawmahu bial-ahqafiwaqad khalati alnnuthuru min bayni yadayhi waminkhalfihi alla taAAbudoo illa Allaha inneeakhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin | واذكر أخا عاد إذ أنذر قومه بالأحقاف وقد خلت النذر من بين يديه ومن خلفه ألا تعبدوا إلا الله إني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم عظيم وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنذَرَ قَوْمَهُ بِالْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And mention| أخا - (the) brother| عاد - (of) Aad,| إذ - when| أنذر - he warned| قومه - his people| بالأحقاف - in the Al-Ahqaf -| وقد - and had already passed away| خلت - and had already passed away| النذر - [the] warners| من - before him| بين - before him| يديه - before him| ومن - and after him,| خلفه - and after him,| ألا - "That not| تعبدوا - you worship| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| إني - Indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| عليكم - for you| عذاب - a punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| عظيم - Great."| | ||||||
| 15 [51:41] | Wafee AAadin ith arsalnaAAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema | وفي عاد إذ أرسلنا عليهم الريح العقيم وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ | |||||

| 16 [54:18] | Kaththabat AAadun fakayfa kanaAAathabee wanuthuri | كذبت عاد فكيف كان عذابي ونذر كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ | |||||
