| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:50] | Wa-ila AAadin akhahumhoodan qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu in antum illa muftaroona
|  وإلى عاد أخاهم هودا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره إن أنتم إلا مفترون
وَإِلَى عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ مُفْتَرُونَ |
| Words | |وإلى - And to| عاد - Aad| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| هودا - Hud.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - (is) for you| من - any| إله - god,| غيره - other than Him.| إن - Not| أنتم - You| إلا - (are) but| مفترون - inventors.| |

| ወደ ዓድም ወንድማቸውን ሁድን (ላክን)፡፡ አላቸው፡- «ወገኖቼ ሆይ! አላህን ተገዙ፡፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ምንም አምላክ የላችሁም፡፡ እናንተም ቀጣፊዎች እንጂ ሌላ አይደላችሁም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { و } أرسلنا { إلى عاد أخاهم } من القبيلة { هودا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله } وَحِّدوهُ { ما لكم من } زائدة { إله غيره إن } ما { أنتم } في عبادتكم الأوثان { إلا مفترون } كاذبون على الله . |
| I Âad, gmat sen Hud, inna: "a yagdud iw! Âabdet Öebbi! Ur tesâim ôebbi, war Neppa. Kunwi tesnulfuyem d kan. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আদ জাতির প্রতি আমি তাদের ভাই হুদকে প্রেরণ করেছি; তিনি বলেন-হে আমার জাতি, আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ভিন্ন তোমাদের কোন মাবুদ নেই, তোমরা সবাই মিথ্যা আরোপ করছ। |
| Literal | And to Aad, their brother Hoodan/Hood, he said: "You (my) nation, worship God (there is) not for you from a God other than Him, that you are except fabricators/cutters and splitters. |
| Yusuf Ali | To the 'Ad People (We sent) Hud, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. (Your other gods) ye do nothing but invent! |
