| 1 [12:42] | Waqala lillathee thannaannahu najin minhuma othkurnee AAindarabbika faansahu alshshaytanu thikrarabbihi falabitha fee alssijni bidAAa sineena |  وقال للذي ظن أنه ناج منهما اذكرني عند ربك فأنساه الشيطان ذكر ربه فلبث في السجن بضع سنينوَقَالَ لِلَّذِي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ نَاجٍ مِّنْهُمَا اذْكُرْنِي عِندَ رَبِّكَ فَأَنسَاهُ الشَّيْطَانُ ذِكْرَ رَبِّهِ فَلَبِثَ فِي السِّجْنِ بِضْعَ سِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And he said| للذي - to the one whom| ظن - he thought| أنه - that he| ناج - (would be) saved| منهما - of both of them,| اذكرني - "Mention me| عند - to| ربك - your master."| فأنساه - But made him forget| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ذكر - (the) mention| ربه - (to) his master,| فلبث - so he remained| في - in| السجن - the prison| بضع - several| سنين - years.| | ||||||
| 2 [12:47] | Qala tazraAAoona sabAAa sineenadaaban fama hasadtum fatharoohu feesunbulihi illa qaleelan mimma ta/kuloona | قال تزرعون سبع سنين دأبا فما حصدتم فذروه في سنبله إلا قليلا مما تأكلون قَالَ تَزْرَعُونَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبًا فَمَا حَصَدتُّمْ فَذَرُوهُ فِي سُنْبُلِهِ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً مِّمَّا تَأْكُلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| تزرعون - "You will sow| سبع - (for) seven| سنين - years,| دأبا - as usual,| فما - and that which| حصدتم - you reap| فذروه - so leave it| في - in| سنبله - its ears| إلا - except| قليلا - a little| مما - from which| تأكلون - you (will) eat.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:11] | Fadarabna AAala athanihimfee alkahfi sineena AAadadan | فضربنا على آذانهم في الكهف سنين عددا فَضَرَبْنَا عَلَى آذَانِهِمْ فِي الْكَهْفِ سِنِينَ عَدَدًا | |||||
| Words | |فضربنا - So We cast| على - over| آذانهم - their ears| في - in| الكهف - the cave| سنين - years -| عددا - a number.| | ||||||
| 4 [18:25] | Walabithoo fee kahfihim thalathami-atin sineena waizdadoo tisAAan | ولبثوا في كهفهم ثلاث مائة سنين وازدادوا تسعا وَلَبِثُوا فِي كَهْفِهِمْ ثَلاَثَ مِائَةٍ سِنِينَ وَازْدَادُوا تِسْعًا | |||||
| Words | |ولبثوا - And they remained| في - in| كهفهم - their cave| ثلاث - (for) three| مائة - hundred| سنين - years| وازدادوا - and add| تسعا - nine.| | ||||||
| 5 [20:40] | Ith tamshee okhtuka fataqoolu haladullukum AAala man yakfuluhu farajaAAnaka ilaommika kay taqarra AAaynuha wala tahzanawaqatalta nafsan fanajjaynaka mina alghammi wafatannakafutoonan falabithta sineena fee ahli madyana thumma ji/ta AAalaqadarin ya moosa | إذ تمشي أختك فتقول هل أدلكم على من يكفله فرجعناك إلى أمك كي تقر عينها ولا تحزن وقتلت نفسا فنجيناك من الغم وفتناك فتونا فلبثت سنين في أهل مدين ثم جئت على قدر يا موسى إِذْ تَمْشِي أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَن يَكْفُلُهُ فَرَجَعْنَاكَ إِلَى أُمِّكَ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَى | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| تمشي - was going| أختك - your sister| فتقول - and she said,| هل - "Shall,| أدلكم - I show you| على - [to]| من - (one) who| يكفله - will nurse and rear him?"| فرجعناك - So We returned you| إلى - to| أمك - your mother| كي - that| تقر - may be cooled| عينها - her eyes| ولا - and not| تحزن - she grieves.| وقتلت - And you killed| نفسا - a man,| فنجيناك - but We saved you| من - from| الغم - the distress,| وفتناك - and We tried you| فتونا - (with) a trial.| فلبثت - Then you remained| سنين - (some) years| في - with| أهل - (the) people| مدين - (of) Madyan.| ثم - Then| جئت - you came| على - at| قدر - the decreed (time)| يا - O| موسى - O Musa!| | ||||||
| 6 [23:112] | Qala kam labithtum fee al-ardiAAadada sineena | قال كم لبثتم في الأرض عدد سنين قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He will say,| كم - "How long| لبثتم - did you remain| في - in| الأرض - the earth,| عدد - (in) number| سنين - (of) years?"| | ||||||
| 7 [26:18] | Qala alam nurabbika feenawaleedan walabithta feena min AAumurika sineena | قال ألم نربك فينا وليدا ولبثت فينا من عمرك سنين قَالَ أَلَمْ نُرَبِّكَ فِينَا وَلِيدًا وَلَبِثْتَ فِينَا مِنْ عُمُرِكَ سِنِينَ | |||||
