[20:40] | Ith tamshee okhtuka fataqoolu haladullukum AAala man yakfuluhu farajaAAnaka ilaommika kay taqarra AAaynuha wala tahzanawaqatalta nafsan fanajjaynaka mina alghammi wafatannakafutoonan falabithta sineena fee ahli madyana thumma ji/ta AAalaqadarin ya moosa
|  إذ تمشي أختك فتقول هل أدلكم على من يكفله فرجعناك إلى أمك كي تقر عينها ولا تحزن وقتلت نفسا فنجيناك من الغم وفتناك فتونا فلبثت سنين في أهل مدين ثم جئت على قدر يا موسى
إِذْ تَمْشِي أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَن يَكْفُلُهُ فَرَجَعْنَاكَ إِلَى أُمِّكَ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِينَ فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَى قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسَى |
| Words | |إذ - When| تمشي - was going| أختك - your sister| فتقول - and she said,| هل - "Shall,| أدلكم - I show you| على - [to]| من - (one) who| يكفله - will nurse and rear him?"| فرجعناك - So We returned you| إلى - to| أمك - your mother| كي - that| تقر - may be cooled| عينها - her eyes| ولا - and not| تحزن - she grieves.| وقتلت - And you killed| نفسا - a man,| فنجيناك - but We saved you| من - from| الغم - the distress,| وفتناك - and We tried you| فتونا - (with) a trial.| فلبثت - Then you remained| سنين - (some) years| في - with| أهل - (the) people| مدين - (of) Madyan.| ثم - Then| جئت - you came| على - at| قدر - the decreed (time)| يا - O| موسى - O Musa!| |

| «እኅትህም በምትኼድና የሚያሳድገውን ሰው ላመላክታችሁን በምትል ጊዜ (መወደድን ጣልኩብህ)፡፡ ወደ እናትህም ዓይንዋ እንዲረጋ (እርሷ) እንዳታዝንም መለስንህ፡፡ ነፍስንም ገደልክ፡፡ ከጭንቅም አዳንንህ፡፡ ፈተናዎችንም ፈተንህ፡፡ በመድየን ቤተሰቦችም ውስጥ (ብዙ) ዓመታትን ተቀመጥክ፡፡ ከዚያም ሙሳ ሆይ! በተወሰነ ጊዜ ላይ መጣህ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { إذ } للتعليل { تمشي أختك } مريم لتتعرف من خبرك وقد أحضروا مراضع وأنت لا تقبل ثدي واحدة منهن { فتقول هل أدلكم على من يكفله } فأجيبت فجاءت بأمه فقبل ثديها { فرجعناك إلى أمك كي تقر عينها } بلقائك { ولا تحزن } حينئذ { وقتلت نفسا } هو القبطي بمصر، فاغتممت لقتله من جهة فرعون { فنجيناك من الغم وفتناك فتونا } اختبرناك بالإيقاع في غير ذلك وخلصناك منه { فلبثت سنين } عشرا { في أهل مدين } بعد مجيئك إليها من مصر عند شعيب النبي وتزوجك بابنته { ثم جئت على قدر } في علمي بالرسالة وهو أربعون سنة من عمرك { يا موسى } . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যখন তোমার ভগিনী এসে বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব কে তাকে লালন পালন করবে। অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে তোমার মাতার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু শীতল হয় এবং দুঃখ না পায়। তুমি এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে এই দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে মুক্তি দেই; আমি তোমাকে অনেক পরীক্ষা করেছি। অতঃপর তুমি কয়েক বছর মাদইয়ান বাসীদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করেছিলে; হে মূসা, অতঃপর তুমি নির্ধারিত সময়ে এসেছ। |
| Literal | And when your sister walks, so she says: Do I guide/lead you on (to) who maintains him ?" So We returned you to your mother, in order that her eye/sight delight/satisfy , and nor she be saddened/grieved, and you killed a self so We saved/rescued you from the grief/sadness/depression, and We tested you , testfully , so you stayed/remained years in Madya's people , then you came on a predestiny you Moses." |

| Shabbir Ahmed | (پھر وہ وقت) جبکہ چل رہی تھی تمہاری بہن اور اُس نے کہا تھا کیا میں پتہ دُوں تمہیں ایسے شخص کا جو اس کی پرورش کرے؟ اور اس طرح لوٹا دیا ہم نے تمہیں تمہاری ماں کے پاس تاکہ ٹھنڈی ہو اُس کی آنکھیں اور تاکہ نہ غمگین ہو۔ اور قتل کردیا تھا تم نے ایک شخص کو پھر نجات دلائی تھی ہم نے تمہیں اس پھندے سے اور آزمایا تھا ہم نے تمہیں طرح طرح کی آزمائشوں سے، پھر ٹھہرے رہے تم کئی سال اہلِ مدین کے پاس، پھر اب تم آگئے ہو تقدیر میں طے شدہ وقت پر اے موسیٰ۔ |
