| 1 [2:26] | Inna Allaha la yastahyeean yadriba mathalan ma baAAoodatan famafawqaha faamma allatheena amanoofayaAAlamoona annahu alhaqqu min rabbihim waammaallatheena kafaroo fayaqooloona matha aradaAllahu bihatha mathalan yudillu bihikatheeran wayahdee bihi katheeran wama yudillu bihiilla alfasiqeena |  إن الله لا يستحيي أن يضرب مثلا ما بعوضة فما فوقها فأما الذين آمنوا فيعلمون أنه الحق من ربهم وأما الذين كفروا فيقولون ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلا يضل به كثيرا ويهدي به كثيرا وما يضل به إلا الفاسقينإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَسْتَحْيِي أَن يَّضْرِبَ مَثَلاً مَّا بَعُوضَةً فَمَا فَوْقَهَا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ فَيَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَيَقُولُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَـذَا مَثَلاً يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيراً وَّيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيراً وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلاَّ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (is) not| يستحيي - ashamed| أن - to| يضرب - set forth| مثلا - an example| ما - (like) even| بعوضة - (of) a mosquito| فما - and (even) something| فوقها - above it.| فأما - Then as for| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believed,| فيعلمون - [thus] they will know| أنه - that it| الحق - (is) the truth| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| وأما - And as for| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| فيقولون - [thus] they will say| ماذا - what| أراد - (did) intend| الله - Allah| بهذا - by this| مثلا - example?| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| كثيرا - many| ويهدي - and He guides| به - by it| كثيرا - many.| وما - And not| يضل - He lets go astray| به - by it| إلا - except| الفاسقين - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:144] | Wamina al-ibili ithnayni wamina albaqariithnayni qul alththakarayni harramaami alonthayayni amma ishtamalat AAalayhi arhamualonthayayni am kuntum shuhadaa ith wassakumuAllahu bihatha faman athlamu mimmaniiftara AAala Allahi kathiban liyudillaalnnasa bighayri AAilmin inna Allaha layahdee alqawma alththalimeena | ومن الإبل اثنين ومن البقر اثنين قل آلذكرين حرم أم الأنثيين أما اشتملت عليه أرحام الأنثيين أم كنتم شهداء إذ وصاكم الله بهذا فمن أظلم ممن افترى على الله كذبا ليضل الناس بغير علم إن الله لا يهدي القوم الظالمين وَمِنَ الْإِبْلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ آلذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللّهُ بِهَـذَا فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And of| الإبل - the camels| اثنين - two| ومن - and of| البقر - the cows| اثنين - two.| قل - Say,| آلذكرين - "(Is it) the two males| حرم - He (has) forbidden| أم - or| الأنثيين - the two females| أما - or what| اشتملت - contains| عليه - [in it]| أرحام - (the) wombs| الأنثيين - (of) the two females?| أم - Or| كنتم - were you| شهداء - witnesses| إذ - when| وصاكم - enjoined you| الله - Allah| بهذا - with this?| فمن - Then who| أظلم - (is) more unjust| ممن - than (one) who| افترى - invents| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| ليضل - to mislead| الناس - the people| بغير - without| علم - knowledge?| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يهدي - guide| القوم - the people,| الظالمين - the wrongdoing."| | ||||||
| 3 [10:68] | Qaloo ittakhatha Allahuwaladan subhanahu huwa alghaniyyu lahu ma fee alssamawatiwama fee al-ardi in AAindakum min sultaninbihatha ataqooloona AAala Allahi ma lataAAlamoona | قالوا اتخذ الله ولدا سبحانه هو الغني له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض إن عندكم من سلطان بهذا أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون قَالُواْ اتَّخَذَ اللّهُ وَلَدًا سُبْحَانَهُ هُوَ الْغَنِيُّ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَات وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنْ عِندَكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بِهَـذَا أَتقُولُونَ عَلَى اللّهِ مَا لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They say,| اتخذ - "Allah has taken| الله - "Allah has taken| ولدا - a son."| سبحانه - Glory be to Him!| هو - He| الغني - (is) the Self-sufficient.| له - To Him (belongs)| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| السماوات - the heavens| وما - and whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth.| إن - Not| عندكم - you have| من - any| سلطان - authority| بهذا - for this.| أتقولون - Do you say| على - about| الله - Allah| ما - what| لا - not| تعلمون - you know?| | ||||||
| 4 [18:6] | FalaAAallaka bakhiAAun nafsaka AAalaatharihim in lam yu/minoo bihatha alhadeethiasafan | فلعلك باخع نفسك على آثارهم إن لم يؤمنوا بهذا الحديث أسفا فَلَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ إِن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا | |||||
| Words | |فلعلك - Then perhaps you would (be)| باخع - the one who kills| نفسك - yourself| على - over| آثارهم - their footsteps,| إن - if| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they believe| بهذا - in this| الحديث - [the] narration,| أسفا - (in) grief.| | ||||||
| 5 [23:24] | Faqala almalao allatheenakafaroo min qawmihi ma hatha illa basharunmithlukum yureedu an yatafaddala AAalaykum walaw shaaAllahu laanzala mala-ikatan ma samiAAnabihatha fee aba-ina al-awwaleena | فقال الملأ الذين كفروا من قومه ما هذا إلا بشر مثلكم يريد أن يتفضل عليكم ولو شاء الله لأنزل ملائكة ما سمعنا بهذا في آبائنا الأولين فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فقال - But said| الملأ - the chiefs| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved| من - among| قومه - his people,| ما - "This is not| هذا - "This is not| إلا - but| بشر - a man| مثلكم - like you,| يريد - he wishes| أن - to| يتفضل - assert (his) superiority| عليكم - over you,| ولو - and if| شاء - Allah had willed| الله - Allah had willed| لأنزل - surely He (would have) sent down| ملائكة - Angels.| ما - Not| سمعنا - we heard| بهذا - of this| في - from| آبائنا - our forefathers.| الأولين - our forefathers.| | ||||||
| 6 [24:16] | Walawla ith samiAAtumoohuqultum ma yakoonu lana an natakallama bihathasubhanaka hatha buhtanun AAatheemun | ولولا إذ سمعتموه قلتم ما يكون لنا أن نتكلم بهذا سبحانك هذا بهتان عظيم وَلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُم مَّا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولولا - And why not,| إذ - when| سمعتموه - you heard it,| قلتم - you said,| ما - "Not| يكون - it is| لنا - for us| أن - that| نتكلم - we speak| بهذا - of this.| سبحانك - Glory be to You!| هذا - This| بهتان - (is) a slander| عظيم - great?"| | ||||||
| 7 [28:36] | Falamma jaahum moosabi-ayatina bayyinatin qaloo mahatha illa sihrun muftaran wamasamiAAna bihatha fee aba-inaal-awwaleena | فلما جاءهم موسى بآياتنا بينات قالوا ما هذا إلا سحر مفترى وما سمعنا بهذا في آبائنا الأولين فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُم مُّوسَى بِآيَاتِنَا بَيِّنَاتٍ قَالُوا مَا هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَمَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - But when| جاءهم - came to them| موسى - Musa| بآياتنا - with Our Signs| بينات - clear,| قالوا - they said,| ما - "Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - except| سحر - a magic| مفترى - invented,| وما - and not| سمعنا - we heard| بهذا - of this| في - among| آبائنا - our forefathers."| الأولين - our forefathers."| | ||||||
| 8 [34:31] | Waqala allatheena kafaroo lannu/mina bihatha alqur-ani wala biallatheebayna yadayhi walaw tara ithi alththalimoonamawqoofoona AAinda rabbihim yarjiAAu baAAduhum ilabaAAdin alqawla yaqoolu allatheena istudAAifoolillatheena istakbaroo lawla antum lakunnamu/mineena | وقال الذين كفروا لن نؤمن بهذا القرآن ولا بالذي بين يديه ولو ترى إذ الظالمون موقوفون عند ربهم يرجع بعضهم إلى بعض القول يقول الذين استضعفوا للذين استكبروا لولا أنتم لكنا مؤمنين وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَن نُّؤْمِنَ بِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَلَا بِالَّذِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذِ الظَّالِمُونَ مَوْقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يَرْجِعُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ الْقَوْلَ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَكْبَرُوا لَوْلَا أَنتُمْ لَكُنَّا مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقال - And say| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve,| لن - "Never will| نؤمن - we believe| بهذا - in this| القرآن - Quran| ولا - and not| بالذي - in (that) which| بين - (was) before it."| يديه - (was) before it."| ولو - But if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| الظالمون - the wrongdoers| موقوفون - will be made to stand| عند - before| ربهم - their Lord,| يرجع - will throw back| بعضهم - some of them| إلى - to| بعض - others| القول - the word.| يقول - Will say| الذين - those who| استضعفوا - were oppressed| للذين - to those who| استكبروا - were arrogant,| لولا - "If not| أنتم - (for) you| لكنا - certainly we (would) have been| مؤمنين - believers."| | ||||||
| 9 [38:7] | Ma samiAAna bihatha feealmillati al-akhirati in hatha illa ikhtilaqun | ما سمعنا بهذا في الملة الآخرة إن هذا إلا اختلاق مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي الْمِلَّةِ الْآخِرَةِ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا اخْتِلَاقٌ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Not| سمعنا - we heard| بهذا - of this| في - in| الملة - the religion| الآخرة - the last.| إن - Not| هذا - (is) this| إلا - but| اختلاق - a fabrication.| | ||||||
| 10 [52:32] | Am ta/muruhum ahlamuhum bihathaam hum qawmun taghoona | أم تأمرهم أحلامهم بهذا أم هم قوم طاغون أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَامُهُم بِهَذَا أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| تأمرهم - command them| أحلامهم - their minds| بهذا - this,| أم - or| هم - they| قوم - (are) a people| طاغون - transgressing?| | ||||||
| 11 [68:44] | Fatharnee waman yukaththibubihatha alhadeethi sanastadrijuhum min haythula yaAAlamoona | فذرني ومن يكذب بهذا الحديث سنستدرجهم من حيث لا يعلمون فَذَرْنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فذرني - So leave Me| ومن - and whoever| يكذب - denies| بهذا - this| الحديث - Statement,| سنستدرجهم - We will progressively lead them| من - from| حيث - where| لا - not| يعلمون - they know.| | ||||||
| 12 [74:31] | Wama jaAAalna as-habaalnnari illa mala-ikatan wamajaAAalna AAiddatahum illa fitnatan lillatheenakafaroo liyastayqina allatheena ootoo alkitabawayazdada allatheena amanoo eemananwala yartaba allatheena ootoo alkitabawaalmu/minoona waliyaqoola allatheena feequloobihim maradun waalkafiroona mathaarada Allahu bihatha mathalan kathalikayudillu Allahu man yashao wayahdee man yashaowama yaAAlamu junooda rabbika illa huwa wamahiya illa thikra lilbashari | وما جعلنا أصحاب النار إلا ملائكة وما جعلنا عدتهم إلا فتنة للذين كفروا ليستيقن الذين أوتوا الكتاب ويزداد الذين آمنوا إيمانا ولا يرتاب الذين أوتوا الكتاب والمؤمنون وليقول الذين في قلوبهم مرض والكافرون ماذا أراد الله بهذا مثلا كذلك يضل الله من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء وما يعلم جنود ربك إلا هو وما هي إلا ذكرى للبشر وَمَا جَعَلْنَا أَصْحَابَ النَّارِ إِلَّا مَلَائِكَةً وَمَا جَعَلْنَا عِدَّتَهُمْ إِلَّا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيَسْتَيْقِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَيَزْدَادَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِيْمَانًا وَلَا يَرْتَابَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَلِيَقُولَ الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ وَالْكَافِرُونَ مَاذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا مَثَلًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ جُنُودَ رَبِّكَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَمَا هِيَ إِلَّا ذِكْرَى لِلْبَشَرِ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| جعلنا - We have made| أصحاب - keepers| النار - (of) the Fire| إلا - except| ملائكة - Angels.| وما - And not| جعلنا - We have made| عدتهم - their number| إلا - except| فتنة - (as) a trial| للذين - for those who| كفروا - disbelieve -| ليستيقن - that may be certain| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Scripture| ويزداد - and may increase| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| إيمانا - (in) faith,| ولا - and not| يرتاب - may doubt| الذين - those who| أوتوا - were given| الكتاب - the Scripture| والمؤمنون - and the believers,| وليقول - and that may say| الذين - those| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts| مرض - (is) a disease| والكافرون - and the disbelievers| ماذا - "What| أراد - (does) intend| الله - Allah| بهذا - by this| مثلا - example?"| كذلك - Thus| يضل - does let go astray| الله - Allah| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| وما - And none| يعلم - knows| جنود - (the) hosts| ربك - (of) your Lord| إلا - except| هو - Him.| وما - And not| هي - it| إلا - (is) but| ذكرى - a reminder| للبشر - to (the) human beings.| | ||||||
| 13 [90:1] | La oqsimu bihatha albaladi | لا أقسم بهذا البلد لَا أُقْسِمُ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ | |||||
| Words | |لا - Nay!| أقسم - I swear| بهذا - by this| البلد - city,| | ||||||
| 14 [90:2] | Waanta hillun bihatha albaladi | وأنت حل بهذا البلد وَأَنتَ حِلٌّ بِهَذَا الْبَلَدِ | |||||
