| 1 [10:48] | Wayaqooloona mata hathaalwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena |  ويقولون متى هذا الوعد إن كنتم صادقينوَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَـذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويقولون - And they say,| متى - "When| هذا - (will) this,| الوعد - the promise (be fulfilled),| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful?"| | ||||||
| 2 [19:54] | Waothkur fee alkitabiismaAAeela innahu kana sadiqa alwaAAdi wakanarasoolan nabiyyan | واذكر في الكتاب إسماعيل إنه كان صادق الوعد وكان رسولا نبيا وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صَادِقَ الْوَعْدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولاً نَّبِيًّا | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And mention| في - in| الكتاب - the Book,| إسماعيل - Ishmael.| إنه - Indeed, he| كان - was| صادق - true| الوعد - (to his) promise| وكان - and was| رسولا - a Messenger -| نبيا - a Prophet.| | ||||||
| 3 [21:9] | Thumma sadaqnahumu alwaAAdafaanjaynahum waman nashao waahlaknaalmusrifeena | ثم صدقناهم الوعد فأنجيناهم ومن نشاء وأهلكنا المسرفين ثُمَّ صَدَقْنَاهُمُ الْوَعْدَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُمْ وَمَن نَّشَاءُ وَأَهْلَكْنَا الْمُسْرِفِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| صدقناهم - We fulfilled (for) them| الوعد - the promise,| فأنجيناهم - and We saved them| ومن - and whom| نشاء - We willed,| وأهلكنا - and We destroyed| المسرفين - the transgressors.| | ||||||

| 5 [21:97] | Waiqtaraba alwaAAdu alhaqqufa-itha hiya shakhisatun absaru allatheenakafaroo ya waylana qad kunna fee ghaflatinmin hatha bal kunna thalimeena | واقترب الوعد الحق فإذا هي شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هذا بل كنا ظالمين وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ أَبْصَارُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واقترب - And has approached| الوعد - the promise| الحق - [the] true| فإذا - then behold,| هي - [it]| شاخصة - (are) staring| أبصار - (the) eyes| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| يا - O| ويلنا - "O woe to us!| قد - Verily,| كنا - we had been| في - in| غفلة - heedlessness| من - of| هذا - this;| بل - nay,| كنا - we were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| | ||||||
