1 [21:97] | Waiqtaraba alwaAAdu alhaqqufa-itha hiya shakhisatun absaru allatheenakafaroo ya waylana qad kunna fee ghaflatinmin hatha bal kunna thalimeena
| واقترب الوعد الحق فإذا هي شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا يا ويلنا قد كنا في غفلة من هذا بل كنا ظالمين وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَإِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ أَبْصَارُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِي غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هَذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ |
Words | |واقترب - And has approached| الوعد - the promise| الحق - [the] true| فإذا - then behold,| هي - [it]| شاخصة - (are) staring| أبصار - (the) eyes| الذين - (of) those who| كفروا - disbelieved,| يا - O| ويلنا - "O woe to us!| قد - Verily,| كنا - we had been| في - in| غفلة - heedlessness| من - of| هذا - this;| بل - nay,| كنا - we were| ظالمين - wrongdoers."| |

| እውነተኛውም ቀጠሮ በቀረበ ጊዜ፥ ያን ጊዜ እነሆ የእነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ዓይኖች ይፈጥጣሉ፡፡ «ዋ ጥፋታችን! ከዚህ (ቀን) በእርግጥ በዝንጋቴ ላይ ነበርን፤ በእውነትም በዳዮች ነበርን» (ይላሉ)፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { واقترب الوعد الحق } أي يوم القيامة { فإذا هي } أي القصة { شاخصة أبصار الذين كفروا } في ذلك اليوم لشدته، يقولون { يا } للتنبيه { ويلنا } هلاكنا { قد كنا } في الدنيا { في غفلة من هذا } اليوم { بل كنا ظالمين } أنفسنا بتكذيبنا للرسل . |
| Tqeôb ed lemâahda n tidep. Atan iqquô yiéôi n wid ijehlen: "a tawa$it nne$! Ni$ nella ne$fel $ef waya. U, aâer, nella d imednas. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমোঘ প্রতিশ্রুত সময় নিকটবর্তী হলে কাফেরদের চক্ষু উচ্চে স্থির হয়ে যাবে; হায় আমাদের দূর্ভাগ্য, আমরা এ বিষয়ে বেখবর ছিলাম; বরং আমরা গোনাহগরই ছিলাম। |
Literal | And the promise, the truth , neared/approached, so then those who disbelieved's eye sights it is (are) staring at . "Oh our calamity , we had been in negligence/disregard from this, rather we were unjust/oppressors." |
Yusuf Ali | Then will the true promise draw nigh (of fulfilment): then behold! the eyes of the Unbelievers will fixedly stare in horror: "Ah! Woe to us! we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we truly did wrong!" |
