| 1 [6:78] | Falamma raa alshshamsabazighatan qala hatha rabbee hathaakbaru falamma afalat qala ya qawmi inneebaree-on mimma tushrikoona |  فلما رأى الشمس بازغة قال هذا ربي هذا أكبر فلما أفلت قال يا قوم إني بريء مما تشركونفَلَمَّا رَأَى الشَّمْسَ بَازِغَةً قَالَ هَـذَا رَبِّي هَـذَآ أَكْبَرُ فَلَمَّا أَفَلَتْ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِّمَّا تُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - When| رأى - he saw| الشمس - the sun| بازغة - rising| قال - he said,| هذا - "This (is)| ربي - my Lord,| هذا - this (is)| أكبر - greater."| فلما - But when| أفلت - it set,| قال - he said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| إني - Indeed, I am| بريء - free| مما - of what| تشركون - you associate (with Allah)."| | ||||||
| 2 [10:5] | Huwa allathee jaAAala alshshamsadiyaan waalqamara nooran waqaddarahu manazilalitaAAlamoo AAadada alssineena waalhisabama khalaqa Allahu thalika illa bialhaqqiyufassilu al-ayati liqawmin yaAAlamoona | هو الذي جعل الشمس ضياء والقمر نورا وقدره منازل لتعلموا عدد السنين والحساب ما خلق الله ذلك إلا بالحق يفصل الآيات لقوم يعلمون هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ ضِيَاءً وَالْقَمَرَ نُورًا وَقَدَّرَهُ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُواْ عَدَدَ السِّنِينَ وَالْحِسَابَ مَا خَلَقَ اللّهُ ذَلِكَ إِلاَّ بِالْحَقِّ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||

| 3 [13:2] | Allahu allathee rafaAAa alssamawatibighayri AAamadin tarawnaha thumma istawa AAalaalAAarshi wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullunyajree li-ajalin musamman yudabbiru al-amra yufassilu al-ayatilaAAallakum biliqa-i rabbikum tooqinoona | الله الذي رفع السماوات بغير عمد ترونها ثم استوى على العرش وسخر الشمس والقمر كل يجري لأجل مسمى يدبر الأمر يفصل الآيات لعلكم بلقاء ربكم توقنون اللّهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأََجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى يُدَبِّرُ الْأََمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ | |||||

| 4 [14:33] | Wasakhkhara lakumu alshshamsa waalqamarada-ibayni wasakhkhara lakumu allayla waalnnahara | وسخر لكم الشمس والقمر دائبين وسخر لكم الليل والنهار وَسَخَّر لَكُمُ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ دَآئِبَينَ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ | |||||

| 5 [17:78] | Aqimi alssalatalidulooki alshshamsi ila ghasaqi allayli waqur-anaalfajri inna qur-ana alfajri kana mashhoodan | أقم الصلاة لدلوك الشمس إلى غسق الليل وقرآن الفجر إن قرآن الفجر كان مشهودا أَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا | |||||
| Words | |أقم - Establish| الصلاة - the prayer,| لدلوك - at the decline| الشمس - (of) the sun| إلى - till| غسق - (the) darkness| الليل - (of) the night| وقرآن - and Quran| الفجر - at dawn,| إن - indeed,| قرآن - the Quran| الفجر - (at) the dawn| كان - is| مشهودا - ever witnessed.| | ||||||
| 6 [18:17] | Watara alshshamsa itha talaAAattazawaru AAan kahfihim thata alyameeni wa-ithagharabat taqriduhum thata alshshimaliwahum fee fajwatin minhu thalika min ayatiAllahi man yahdi Allahu fahuwa almuhtadi waman yudlilfalan tajida lahu waliyyan murshidan | وترى الشمس إذا طلعت تزاور عن كهفهم ذات اليمين وإذا غربت تقرضهم ذات الشمال وهم في فجوة منه ذلك من آيات الله من يهد الله فهو المهتد ومن يضلل فلن تجد له وليا مرشدا وَتَرَى الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَاوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ الْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ الشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِي فَجْوَةٍ مِّنْهُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ مَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ وَلِيًّا مُّرْشِدًا | |||||
| Words | |وترى - And you (might) have seen| الشمس - the sun,| إذا - when| طلعت - it rose,| تزاور - inclining away| عن - from| كهفهم - their cave| ذات - to| اليمين - the right,| وإذا - and when| غربت - it set,| تقرضهم - passing away from them| ذات - to| الشمال - the left| وهم - while they| في - (lay) in| فجوة - the open space| منه - thereof.| ذلك - That| من - (was) from| آيات - (the) Signs| الله - (of) Allah.| من - Whoever| يهد - Allah guides| الله - Allah guides| فهو - and he| المهتد - (is) the guided one,| ومن - and whoever| يضلل - He lets go astray| فلن - then never| تجد - you will find| له - for him| وليا - a protector,| مرشدا - a guide.| | ||||||
| 7 [18:86] | Hatta itha balaghamaghriba alshshamsi wajadaha taghrubu fee AAaynin hami-atinwawajada AAindaha qawman qulna ya thaalqarnayni imma an tuAAaththiba wa-imma antattakhitha feehim husnan | حتى إذا بلغ مغرب الشمس وجدها تغرب في عين حمئة ووجد عندها قوما قلنا يا ذا القرنين إما أن تعذب وإما أن تتخذ فيهم حسنا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَغْرُبُ فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ وَوَجَدَ عِندَهَا قَوْمًا قُلْنَا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِمَّا أَن تُعَذِّبَ وَإِمَّا أَن تَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ حُسْنًا | |||||
| Words | |حتى - Until,| إذا - when| بلغ - he reached| مغرب - (the) setting place| الشمس - (of) the sun,| وجدها - he found it| تغرب - setting| في - in| عين - a spring| حمئة - (of) dark mud,| ووجد - and he found| عندها - near it| قوما - a community.| قلنا - We said,| يا - O| ذا - "O Dhul-qarnain!| القرنين - "O Dhul-qarnain!| إما - Either| أن - [that]| تعذب - you punish| وإما - or| أن - [that]| تتخذ - you take| فيهم - [in] them| حسنا - (with) goodness."| | ||||||
| 8 [18:90] | Hatta itha balagha matliAAaalshshamsi wajadaha tatluAAu AAalaqawmin lam najAAal lahum min dooniha sitran | حتى إذا بلغ مطلع الشمس وجدها تطلع على قوم لم نجعل لهم من دونها سترا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَى قَوْمٍ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُم مِّن دُونِهَا سِتْرًا | |||||

| 9 [20:130] | Faisbir AAala mayaqooloona wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tulooAAialshshamsi waqabla ghuroobiha wamin ana-iallayli fasabbih waatrafa alnnaharilaAAallaka tarda | فاصبر على ما يقولون وسبح بحمد ربك قبل طلوع الشمس وقبل غروبها ومن آناء الليل فسبح وأطراف النهار لعلك ترضى فَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِهَا وَمِنْ آنَاءِ اللَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَأَطْرَافَ النَّهَارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضَى | |||||

| 10 [25:45] | Alam tara ila rabbika kayfa madda alththillawalaw shaa lajaAAalahu sakinan thumma jaAAalnaalshshamsa AAalayhi daleelan | ألم تر إلى ربك كيف مد الظل ولو شاء لجعله ساكنا ثم جعلنا الشمس عليه دليلا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ الظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَجَعَلَهُ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا الشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do you not| تر - see| إلى - [to]| ربك - your Lord| كيف - how| مد - He extends| الظل - the shadow?| ولو - And if| شاء - He willed,| لجعله - surely He (could) have made it| ساكنا - stationary.| ثم - Then| جعلنا - We made| الشمس - the sun| عليه - for it| دليلا - an indication.| | ||||||
| 11 [29:61] | Wala-in saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamaralayaqoolunna Allahu faanna yu/fakoona | ولئن سألتهم من خلق السماوات والأرض وسخر الشمس والقمر ليقولن الله فأنى يؤفكون وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ فَأَنَّى يُؤْفَكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| سألتهم - you ask them,| من - "Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| وسخر - and subjected| الشمس - the sun| والقمر - and the moon?"| ليقولن - Surely they would say| الله - "Allah."| فأنى - Then how| يؤفكون - are they deluded?| | ||||||
| 12 [31:29] | Alam tara anna Allaha yooliju allaylafee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara feeallayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullunyajree ila ajalin musamman waanna Allaha bimataAAmaloona khabeerun | ألم تر أن الله يولج الليل في النهار ويولج النهار في الليل وسخر الشمس والقمر كل يجري إلى أجل مسمى وأن الله بما تعملون خبير أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ | |||||

| 13 [35:13] | Yooliju allayla fee alnnahariwayooliju alnnahara fee allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsawaalqamara kullun yajree li-ajalin musamman thalikumuAllahu rabbukum lahu almulku waallatheenatadAAoona min doonihi ma yamlikoona min qitmeerin | يولج الليل في النهار ويولج النهار في الليل وسخر الشمس والقمر كل يجري لأجل مسمى ذلكم الله ربكم له الملك والذين تدعون من دونه ما يملكون من قطمير يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ذَلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ | |||||

| 14 [36:40] | La alshshamsu yanbaghee lahaan tudrika alqamara wala allaylu sabiqu alnnahariwakullun fee falakin yasbahoona | لا الشمس ينبغي لها أن تدرك القمر ولا الليل سابق النهار وكل في فلك يسبحون لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ | |||||

| 15 [39:5] | Khalaqa alssamawati waal-ardabialhaqqi yukawwiru allayla AAala alnnahariwayukawwiru alnnahara AAala allayliwasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajreeli-ajalin musamman ala huwa alAAazeezu alghaffaru | خلق السماوات والأرض بالحق يكور الليل على النهار ويكور النهار على الليل وسخر الشمس والقمر كل يجري لأجل مسمى ألا هو العزيز الغفار خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ يُكَوِّرُ اللَّيْلَ عَلَى النَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارَ عَلَى اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى أَلَا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ | |||||
