| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[18:86] | Hatta itha balaghamaghriba alshshamsi wajadaha taghrubu fee AAaynin hami-atinwawajada AAindaha qawman qulna ya thaalqarnayni imma an tuAAaththiba wa-imma antattakhitha feehim husnan
|  حتى إذا بلغ مغرب الشمس وجدها تغرب في عين حمئة ووجد عندها قوما قلنا يا ذا القرنين إما أن تعذب وإما أن تتخذ فيهم حسنا
حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَغْرُبُ فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ وَوَجَدَ عِندَهَا قَوْمًا قُلْنَا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِمَّا أَن تُعَذِّبَ وَإِمَّا أَن تَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ حُسْنًا |

| ወደ ፀሐይ መግቢያም በደረሰ ጊዜ ጥቁር ጭቃ ባላት ምንጭ ውስጥ ስትጠልቅ አገኛት፡፡ ባጠገቧም ሕዝቦችን አገኘ፡፡ «ዙልቀርነይን ሆይ! ወይም (በመግደል) ትቀጣለህ ወይም በእነርሱ መልካም ነገርን (መማረክን) ትሠራለህ» አልነው፡፤ |
| آل الجلالين | { حتى إذا بلغ مغرب الشمس } موضع غروبها { وجدها تغرب في عين حمئة } ذات حمأة وهي الطين الأسود وغروبها في العين في رأي وإلا فهي أعظم من الدنيا { ووجد عندها } أي العين { قوما } كافرين { قلنا يا ذا القرنين } بإلهام { إما أن تُعذّب } القوم بالقتل { وإما أن تتخذ فيهم حُسنا } بالأسر . |
| armi sanda i$elli yiîij. Iufa i$elli $ef tala ilu$en. Iufa n $uôes agdud. Nenna: "a Bu sin wacciwen, âaqeb iten, ne$ lhu $uôsen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অবশেষে তিনি যখন সুর্যের অস্তাচলে পৌছলেন; তখন তিনি সুর্যকে এক পঙ্কিল জলাশয়ে অস্ত যেতে দেখলেন এবং তিনি সেখানে এক সম্প্রদায়কে দেখতে পেলেন। আমি বললাম, হে যুলকারনাইন! আপনি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে পারেন অথবা তাদেরকে সদয়ভাবে গ্রহণ করতে পারেন। |
