| 1 [7:74] | Waothkuroo ithjaAAalakum khulafaa min baAAdi AAadin wabawwaakumfee al-ardi tattakhithoona min suhooliha qusooranwatanhitoona aljibala buyootan faothkurooalaa Allahi wala taAAthaw fee al-ardimufsideena |  واذكروا إذ جعلكم خلفاء من بعد عاد وبوأكم في الأرض تتخذون من سهولها قصورا وتنحتون الجبال بيوتا فاذكروا آلاء الله ولا تعثوا في الأرض مفسدينوَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَاءَ مِن بَعْدِ عَادٍ وَبَوَّأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِن سُهُولِهَا قُصُورًا وَتَنْحِتُونَ الْجِبَالَ بُيُوتًا فَاذْكُرُواْ آلاَءَ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَعْثَوْا فِي الْأَرْضِ مُفْسِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| جعلكم - He made you| خلفاء - successors| من - from| بعد - after| عاد - Aad,| وبوأكم - and settled you| في - in| الأرض - the earth.| تتخذون - You take| من - from| سهولها - its plains| قصورا - palaces| وتنحتون - and you carve out| الجبال - the mountains| بيوتا - (as) homes.| فاذكروا - So remember| آلاء - (the) Bounties| الله - (of) Allah| ولا - and (do) not| تعثوا - act wickedly| في - in| الأرض - (the) earth| مفسدين - spreading corruption.| | ||||||
| 2 [13:31] | Walaw anna qur-anan suyyirat bihialjibalu aw quttiAAat bihi al-ardu awkullima bihi almawta bal lillahi al-amru jameeAAanafalam yay-asi allatheena amanoo an law yashaoAllahu lahada alnnasa jameeAAan walayazalu allatheena kafaroo tuseebuhum bimasanaAAoo qariAAatun aw tahullu qareeban mindarihim hatta ya/tiya waAAdu Allahiinna Allaha la yukhlifu almeeAAada | ولو أن قرآنا سيرت به الجبال أو قطعت به الأرض أو كلم به الموتى بل لله الأمر جميعا أفلم ييأس الذين آمنوا أن لو يشاء الله لهدى الناس جميعا ولا يزال الذين كفروا تصيبهم بما صنعوا قارعة أو تحل قريبا من دارهم حتى يأتي وعد الله إن الله لا يخلف الميعاد وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَى بَل لِّلّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ أَن لَّوْ يَشَاءُ اللّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَلاَ يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ تُصِيبُهُم بِمَا صَنَعُواْ قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِّن دَارِهِمْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - that was| قرآنا - any Quran,| سيرت - could be moved| به - by it| الجبال - the mountains,| أو - or| قطعت - could be cloven asunder| به - by it| الأرض - the earth,| أو - or| كلم - could be made to speak| به - by it| الموتى - the dead.| بل - Nay,| لله - with Allah| الأمر - (is) the command| جميعا - all.| أفلم - Then do not| ييأس - know| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| أن - that| لو - if| يشاء - had willed| الله - Allah,| لهدى - surely, He would have guided| الناس - all?| جميعا - all of the mankind?| ولا - And not| يزال - will cease| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieve| تصيبهم - to strike them| بما - for what| صنعوا - they did| قارعة - a disaster,| أو - or| تحل - it settles| قريبا - close| من - from| دارهم - their homes| حتى - until| يأتي - comes| وعد - (the) promise| الله - (of) Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (will) not| يخلف - fail| الميعاد - (in) the Promise.| | ||||||
| 3 [14:46] | Waqad makaroo makrahum waAAinda Allahimakruhum wa-in kana makruhum litazoola minhu aljibalu | وقد مكروا مكرهم وعند الله مكرهم وإن كان مكرهم لتزول منه الجبال وَقَدْ مَكَرُواْ مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِندَ اللّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِن كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ | |||||
| Words | |وقد - And indeed| مكروا - they planned| مكرهم - their plan,| وعند - but with| الله - Allah| مكرهم - (was) their plan,| وإن - even if| كان - was| مكرهم - their plan| لتزول - that should be moved| منه - by it| الجبال - the mountains.| | ||||||
| 4 [15:82] | Wakanoo yanhitoona mina aljibalibuyootan amineena | وكانوا ينحتون من الجبال بيوتا آمنين وَكَانُواْ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا آمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكانوا - And they used (to)| ينحتون - carve| من - from| الجبال - the mountains,| بيوتا - houses,| آمنين - secure.| | ||||||
| 5 [16:68] | Waawha rabbuka ila alnnahliani ittakhithee mina aljibali buyootan wamina alshshajariwamimma yaAArishoona | وأوحى ربك إلى النحل أن اتخذي من الجبال بيوتا ومن الشجر ومما يعرشون وَأَوْحَى رَبُّكَ إِلَى النَّحْلِ أَنِ اتَّخِذِي مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا وَمِنَ الشَّجَرِ وَمِمَّا يَعْرِشُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأوحى - And inspired| ربك - your Lord| إلى - to| النحل - the bee,| أن - [that]| اتخذي - "Take| من - among| الجبال - the mountains,| بيوتا - houses| ومن - and among| الشجر - the trees,| ومما - and in what| يعرشون - they construct.| | ||||||
| 6 [16:81] | WaAllahu jaAAala lakum mimmakhalaqa thilalan wajaAAala lakum mina aljibaliaknanan wajaAAala lakum sarabeela taqeekumu alharrawasarabeela taqeekum ba/sakum kathalika yutimmuniAAmatahu AAalaykum laAAallakum tuslimoona | والله جعل لكم مما خلق ظلالا وجعل لكم من الجبال أكنانا وجعل لكم سرابيل تقيكم الحر وسرابيل تقيكم بأسكم كذلك يتم نعمته عليكم لعلكم تسلمون وَاللّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلاَلاً وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الْجِبَالِ أَكْنَانًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ سَرَابِيلَ تَقِيكُمُ الْحَرَّ وَسَرَابِيلَ تَقِيكُم بَأْسَكُمْ كَذَلِكَ يُتِمُّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| جعل - (has) made| لكم - for you| مما - from what| خلق - He created,| ظلالا - shades| وجعل - and (has) made| لكم - for you| من - from| الجبال - the mountains,| أكنانا - shelters| وجعل - and (has) made| لكم - for you| سرابيل - garments| تقيكم - to protect you| الحر - (from) the heat| وسرابيل - and garments| تقيكم - to protect you| بأسكم - from your (mutual) violence.| كذلك - Thus| يتم - He completes| نعمته - His Favor| عليكم - upon you| لعلكم - so that you may| تسلمون - submit.| | ||||||
| 7 [17:37] | Wala tamshi fee al-ardi marahaninnaka lan takhriqa al-arda walan tablugha aljibalatoolan | ولا تمش في الأرض مرحا إنك لن تخرق الأرض ولن تبلغ الجبال طولا وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولاً | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تمش - walk| في - in| الأرض - the earth| مرحا - (with) insolence.| إنك - Indeed, you| لن - will never| تخرق - tear| الأرض - the earth| ولن - and will never| تبلغ - reach| الجبال - the mountains| طولا - (in) height.| | ||||||
| 8 [18:47] | Wayawma nusayyiru aljibala wataraal-arda barizatan wahasharnahum falamnughadir minhum ahadan | ويوم نسير الجبال وترى الأرض بارزة وحشرناهم فلم نغادر منهم أحدا وَيَوْمَ نُسَيِّرُ الْجِبَالَ وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ بَارِزَةً وَحَشَرْنَاهُمْ فَلَمْ نُغَادِرْ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And the Day| نسير - We will cause (to) move| الجبال - the mountains| وترى - and you will see| الأرض - the earth| بارزة - (as) a leveled plain| وحشرناهم - and We will gather them| فلم - and not| نغادر - We will leave behind| منهم - from them| أحدا - anyone.| | ||||||
| 9 [19:90] | Takadu alssamawatuyatafattarna minhu watanshaqqu al-ardu watakhirrualjibalu haddan | تكاد السماوات يتفطرن منه وتنشق الأرض وتخر الجبال هدا تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا | |||||
| Words | |تكاد - Almost| السماوات - the heavens| يتفطرن - get torn| منه - therefrom,| وتنشق - and splits asunder| الأرض - the earth| وتخر - and collapse| الجبال - the mountain| هدا - (in) devastation| | ||||||
| 10 [20:105] | Wayas-aloonaka AAani aljibali faqulyansifuha rabbee nasfan | ويسألونك عن الجبال فقل ينسفها ربي نسفا وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْجِبَالِ فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّي نَسْفًا | |||||
| Words | |ويسألونك - And they ask you| عن - about| الجبال - the mountains,| فقل - so say,| ينسفها - "Will blast them| ربي - my Lord| نسفا - (into) particles.| | ||||||
| 11 [21:79] | Fafahhamnaha sulaymanawakullan atayna hukman waAAilman wasakhkharnamaAAa dawooda aljibala yusabbihna waalttayrawakunna faAAileena | ففهمناها سليمان وكلا آتينا حكما وعلما وسخرنا مع داوود الجبال يسبحن والطير وكنا فاعلين فَفَهَّمْنَاهَا سُلَيْمَانَ وَكُلًّا آتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَعِلْمًا وَسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوُودَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَ وَكُنَّا فَاعِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ففهمناها - And We gave understanding of it| سليمان - (to) Sulaiman,| وكلا - and (to) each| آتينا - We gave| حكما - judgment| وعلما - and knowledge.| وسخرنا - And We subjected| مع - with| داوود - Dawud| الجبال - the mountains| يسبحن - (to) glorify Our praises| والطير - and the birds.| وكنا - And We were| فاعلين - the Doers.| | ||||||
| 12 [26:149] | Watanhitoona mina aljibalibuyootan fariheena | وتنحتون من الجبال بيوتا فارهين وَتَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ الْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا فَارِهِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وتنحتون - And you carve| من - of| الجبال - the mountains,| بيوتا - houses| فارهين - skillfully.| | ||||||
| 13 [27:88] | Watara aljibala tahsabuhajamidatan wahiya tamurru marra alssahabi sunAAaAllahi allathee atqana kulla shay-in innahukhabeerun bima tafAAaloona | وترى الجبال تحسبها جامدة وهي تمر مر السحاب صنع الله الذي أتقن كل شيء إنه خبير بما تفعلون وَتَرَى الْجِبَالَ تَحْسَبُهَا جَامِدَةً وَهِيَ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ صُنْعَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَتْقَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ إِنَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَفْعَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وترى - And you see| الجبال - the mountains,| تحسبها - thinking them| جامدة - firmly fixed,| وهي - while they| تمر - will pass| مر - (as the) passing| السحاب - (of) the clouds.| صنع - (The) Work| الله - (of) Allah| الذي - Who| أتقن - perfected| كل - all| شيء - things.| إنه - Indeed, He| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| تفعلون - you do.| | ||||||
| 14 [35:27] | Alam tara anna Allaha anzala mina alssama-imaan faakhrajna bihi thamaratin mukhtalifanalwanuha wamina aljibali judadun beedunwahumrun mukhtalifun alwanuha wagharabeebusoodun | ألم تر أن الله أنزل من السماء ماء فأخرجنا به ثمرات مختلفا ألوانها ومن الجبال جدد بيض وحمر مختلف ألوانها وغرابيب سود أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِ ثَمَرَاتٍ مُّخْتَلِفًا أَلْوَانُهَا وَمِنَ الْجِبَالِ جُدَدٌ بِيضٌ وَحُمْرٌ مُّخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَانُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٌ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Do not| تر - you see| أن - that| الله - Allah| أنزل - sends down| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water,| فأخرجنا - then We bring forth| به - therewith| ثمرات - fruits| مختلفا - (of) various| ألوانها - [their] colors?| ومن - And in| الجبال - the mountains| جدد - (are) tracts,| بيض - white| وحمر - and red| مختلف - (of) various| ألوانها - [their] colors,| وغرابيب - and intensely black.| سود - and intensely black.| | ||||||
| 15 [38:18] | Inna sakhkharna aljibalamaAAahu yusabbihna bialAAashiyyi waal-ishraqi | إنا سخرنا الجبال معه يسبحن بالعشي والإشراق إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا الْجِبَالَ مَعَهُ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِشْرَاقِ | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, We| سخرنا - subjected| الجبال - the mountains| معه - with him| يسبحن - glorifying| بالعشي - in the evening| والإشراق - and [the] sunrise.| | ||||||
| 16 [52:10] | Wataseeru aljibalu sayran | وتسير الجبال سيرا وَتَسِيرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا | |||||

| 17 [56:5] | Wabussati aljibalu bassan | وبست الجبال بسا وَبُسَّتِ الْجِبَالُ بَسًّا | |||||
