| 1 [2:136] | Qooloo amanna biAllahiwama onzila ilayna wama onzila ilaibraheema wa-ismaAAeela wa-ishaqawayaAAqooba waal-asbati wama ootiya moosawaAAeesa wama ootiya alnnabiyyoona minrabbihim la nufarriqu bayna ahadin minhum wanahnulahu muslimoona |  قولوا آمنا بالله وما أنزل إلينا وما أنزل إلى إبراهيم وإسماعيل وإسحاق ويعقوب والأسباط وما أوتي موسى وعيسى وما أوتي النبيون من ربهم لا نفرق بين أحد منهم ونحن له مسلمونقُولُواْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى وَمَا أُوتِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قولوا - Say,| آمنا - "We have believed| بالله - in Allah| وما - and what| أنزل - (is) revealed| إلينا - to us| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| إلى - to| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسماعيل - and Ishmael| وإسحاق - and Isaac| ويعقوب - and Yaqub| والأسباط - and the descendants,| وما - and what| أوتي - was given| موسى - (to) Musa| وعيسى - and Isa| وما - and what| أوتي - was given| النبيون - (to) the Prophets| من - from| ربهم - their Lord.| لا - Not| نفرق - we make distinction| بين - between| أحد - any| منهم - of them.| ونحن - And we| له - to Him| مسلمون - (are) submissive."| | ||||||
| 2 [3:183] | Allatheena qaloo inna AllahaAAahida ilayna alla nu/mina lirasoolin hattaya/tiyana biqurbanin ta/kuluhu alnnaruqul qad jaakum rusulun min qablee bialbayyinatiwabiallathee qultum falima qataltumoohum in kutum sadiqeena | الذين قالوا إن الله عهد إلينا ألا نؤمن لرسول حتى يأتينا بقربان تأكله النار قل قد جاءكم رسل من قبلي بالبينات وبالذي قلتم فلم قتلتموهم إن كنتم صادقين الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا أَلاَّ نُؤْمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَنَا بِقُرْبَانٍ تَأْكُلُهُ النَّارُ قُلْ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِّن قَبْلِي بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ وَبِالَّذِي قُلْتُمْ فَلِمَ قَتَلْتُمُوهُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| قالوا - said,| إن - "Indeed| الله - Allah| عهد - (has) taken promise| إلينا - from us| ألا - that not| نؤمن - we (should) believe| لرسول - in a Messenger| حتى - until| يأتينا - he brings to us| بقربان - a sacrifice -| تأكله - consumes it| النار - the fire."| قل - Say,| قد - "Surely| جاءكم - came to you| رسل - Messengers| من - from| قبلي - before me| بالبينات - with the clear Signs| وبالذي - and with what| قلتم - you speak.| فلم - So why| قتلتموهم - you killed them,| إن - if| كنتم - you are| صادقين - truthful.| | ||||||
| 3 [5:59] | Qul ya ahla alkitabi haltanqimoona minna illa an amanna biAllahiwama onzila ilayna wama onzila min qabluwaanna aktharakum fasiqoona | قل يا أهل الكتاب هل تنقمون منا إلا أن آمنا بالله وما أنزل إلينا وما أنزل من قبل وأن أكثركم فاسقون قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ هَلْ تَنقِمُونَ مِنَّا إِلاَّ أَنْ آمَنَّا بِاللّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| هل - Do| تنقمون - you resent| منا - [of] us| إلا - except| أن - that| آمنا - we believe| بالله - in Allah| وما - and what| أنزل - has been revealed| إلينا - to us| وما - and what| أنزل - was revealed| من - from| قبل - before,| وأن - and that| أكثركم - most of you| فاسقون - (are) defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 4 [10:23] | Falamma anjahum ithahum yabghoona fee al-ardi bighayri alhaqqi yaayyuha alnnasu innama baghyukum AAalaanfusikum mataAAa alhayati alddunyathumma ilayna marjiAAukum fanunabbi-okum bimakuntum taAAmaloona | فلما أنجاهم إذا هم يبغون في الأرض بغير الحق يا أيها الناس إنما بغيكم على أنفسكم متاع الحياة الدنيا ثم إلينا مرجعكم فننبئكم بما كنتم تعملون فَلَمَّا أَنجَاهُمْ إِذَا هُمْ يَبْغُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّمَا بَغْيُكُمْ عَلَى أَنفُسِكُم مَّتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَينَا مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - But when| أنجاهم - He saved them,| إذا - behold!| هم - They| يبغون - rebel| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بغير - without| الحق - [the] right.| يا - O| أيها - O mankind!| الناس - O mankind!| إنما - Only| بغيكم - your rebellion| على - (is) against| أنفسكم - yourselves,| متاع - (the) enjoyment| الحياة - (of) the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| ثم - Then| إلينا - to Us| مرجعكم - (is) your return| فننبئكم - and We will inform you| بما - of what| كنتم - you used (to)| تعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 5 [10:70] | MataAAun fee alddunyathumma ilayna marjiAAuhum thumma nutheequhumu alAAathabaalshshadeeda bima kanoo yakfuroona | متاع في الدنيا ثم إلينا مرجعهم ثم نذيقهم العذاب الشديد بما كانوا يكفرون مَتَاعٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ ثُمَّ نُذِيقُهُمُ الْعَذَابَ الشَّدِيدَ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |متاع - An enjoyment| في - in| الدنيا - the world,| ثم - then| إلينا - to Us| مرجعهم - (is) their return,| ثم - then| نذيقهم - We will make them taste| العذاب - the punishment| الشديد - the severe| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 6 [12:65] | Walamma fatahoo mataAAahumwajadoo bidaAAatahum ruddat ilayhim qaloo yaabana ma nabghee hathihi bidaAAatunaruddat ilayna wanameeru ahlana wanahfathuakhana wanazdadu kayla baAAeerin thalikakaylun yaseerun | ولما فتحوا متاعهم وجدوا بضاعتهم ردت إليهم قالوا يا أبانا ما نبغي هذه بضاعتنا ردت إلينا ونمير أهلنا ونحفظ أخانا ونزداد كيل بعير ذلك كيل يسير وَلَمَّا فَتَحُواْ مَتَاعَهُمْ وَجَدُواْ بِضَاعَتَهُمْ رُدَّتْ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مَا نَبْغِي هَـذِهِ بِضَاعَتُنَا رُدَّتْ إِلَيْنَا وَنَمِيرُ أَهْلَنَا وَنَحْفَظُ أَخَانَا وَنَزْدَادُ كَيْلَ بَعِيرٍ ذَلِكَ كَيْلٌ يَسِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| فتحوا - they opened| متاعهم - their baggage,| وجدوا - they found| بضاعتهم - their merchandise| ردت - returned| إليهم - to them.| قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| ما - What| نبغي - (could) we desire?| هذه - This| بضاعتنا - (is) our merchandise| ردت - returned| إلينا - to us.| ونمير - And we will get provision| أهلنا - (for) our family,| ونحفظ - and we will protect| أخانا - our brother| ونزداد - and get an increase| كيل - measure| بعير - (of) a camel's (load).| ذلك - That| كيل - (is) a measurement| يسير - easy."| | ||||||
| 7 [20:48] | Inna qad oohiya ilaynaanna alAAathaba AAala man kaththaba watawalla | إنا قد أوحي إلينا أن العذاب على من كذب وتولى إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيْنَا أَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلَى مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى | |||||
| Words | |إنا - Indeed, we| قد - verily,| أوحي - it has been revealed| إلينا - to us| أن - that| العذاب - the punishment| على - (will be) on| من - (one) who| كذب - denies| وتولى - and turns away."| | ||||||
| 8 [20:91] | Qaloo lan nabraha AAalayhi AAakifeenahatta yarjiAAa ilayna moosa | قالوا لن نبرح عليه عاكفين حتى يرجع إلينا موسى قَالُوا لَن نَّبْرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفِينَ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَى | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| لن - "Never| نبرح - we will cease| عليه - being devoted to it| عاكفين - being devoted to it| حتى - until| يرجع - returns| إلينا - to us| موسى - Musa."| | ||||||
| 9 [20:134] | Walaw anna ahlaknahum biAAathabinmin qablihi laqaloo rabbana lawla arsaltailayna rasoolan fanattabiAAa ayatika minqabli an nathilla wanakhza | ولو أنا أهلكناهم بعذاب من قبله لقالوا ربنا لولا أرسلت إلينا رسولا فنتبع آياتك من قبل أن نذل ونخزى وَلَوْ أَنَّا أَهْلَكْنَاهُم بِعَذَابٍ مِّن قَبْلِهِ لَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا لَوْلَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ آيَاتِكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخْزَى | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنا - We| أهلكناهم - (had) destroyed them| بعذاب - with a punishment| من - before him,| قبله - before him,| لقالوا - surely they (would) have said,| ربنا - "Our Lord,| لولا - why not| أرسلت - You sent| إلينا - to us| رسولا - a Messenger,| فنتبع - so we (could) have followed| آياتك - Your signs| من - before| قبل - before| أن - [that]| نذل - we were humiliated| ونخزى - and disgraced."| | ||||||
| 10 [21:93] | WataqattaAAoo amrahum baynahum kullunilayna rajiAAoona | وتقطعوا أمرهم بينهم كل إلينا راجعون وَتَقَطَّعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ كُلٌّ إِلَيْنَا رَاجِعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وتقطعوا - But they cut off| أمرهم - their affair| بينهم - among themselves,| كل - all| إلينا - to Us| راجعون - (will) return.| | ||||||
| 11 [23:115] | Afahasibtum annama khalaqnakumAAabathan waannakum ilayna la turjaAAoona | أفحسبتم أنما خلقناكم عبثا وأنكم إلينا لا ترجعون أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفحسبتم - Then did you think| أنما - that| خلقناكم - We created you| عبثا - uselessly| وأنكم - and that you| إلينا - to Us| لا - not| ترجعون - will be returned?"| | ||||||
| 12 [25:46] | Thumma qabadnahu ilaynaqabdan yaseeran | ثم قبضناه إلينا قبضا يسيرا ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |ثم - Then| قبضناه - We withdraw it| إلينا - to Us,| قبضا - a withdrawal| يسيرا - gradual.| | ||||||
| 13 [28:39] | Waistakbara huwa wajunooduhu feeal-ardi bighayri alhaqqi wathannooannahum ilayna la yurjaAAoona | واستكبر هو وجنوده في الأرض بغير الحق وظنوا أنهم إلينا لا يرجعون وَاسْتَكْبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَظَنُّوا أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا يُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واستكبر - And he was arrogant,| هو - And he was arrogant,| وجنوده - and his hosts| في - in| الأرض - the land| بغير - without| الحق - right,| وظنوا - and they thought| أنهم - that they| إلينا - to Us| لا - not| يرجعون - will be returned.| | ||||||
| 14 [28:47] | Walawla an tuseebahum museebatunbima qaddamat aydeehim fayaqooloo rabbana lawlaarsalta ilayna rasoolan fanattabiAAa ayatikawanakoona mina almu/mineena | ولولا أن تصيبهم مصيبة بما قدمت أيديهم فيقولوا ربنا لولا أرسلت إلينا رسولا فنتبع آياتك ونكون من المؤمنين وَلَوْلَا أَن تُصِيبَهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا لَوْلَا أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولًا فَنَتَّبِعَ آيَاتِكَ وَنَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولولا - And if not| أن - [that]| تصيبهم - struck them| مصيبة - a disaster| بما - for what| قدمت - had sent forth| أيديهم - their hands| فيقولوا - and they would say,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| لولا - Why not| أرسلت - You sent| إلينا - to us| رسولا - a Messenger| فنتبع - so we (could have) followed| آياتك - Your Verses| ونكون - and we (would) have been| من - of| المؤمنين - the believers?"| | ||||||
| 15 [29:46] | Wala tujadiloo ahla alkitabiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu illa allatheenathalamoo minhum waqooloo amanna biallatheeonzila ilayna waonzila ilaykum wa-ilahunawa-ilahukum wahidun wanahnu lahu muslimoona | ولا تجادلوا أهل الكتاب إلا بالتي هي أحسن إلا الذين ظلموا منهم وقولوا آمنا بالذي أنزل إلينا وأنزل إليكم وإلهنا وإلهكم واحد ونحن له مسلمون وَلَا تُجَادِلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ إِلَّا بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ وَقُولُوا آمَنَّا بِالَّذِي أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَإِلَهُنَا وَإِلَهُكُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تجادلوا - argue| أهل - (with the) People of the Book| الكتاب - (with the) People of the Book| إلا - except| بالتي - by which| هي - [it]| أحسن - (is) best,| إلا - except| الذين - those who| ظلموا - (do) wrong| منهم - among them,| وقولوا - and say,| آمنا - "We believe| بالذي - in that (which)| أنزل - has been revealed| إلينا - to us| وأنزل - and was revealed| إليكم - to you.| وإلهنا - And our God| وإلهكم - and your God| واحد - (is) One,| ونحن - and we| له - to Him| مسلمون - submit."| | ||||||
| 16 [29:57] | Kullu nafsin tha-iqatu almawti thummailayna turjaAAoona | كل نفس ذائقة الموت ثم إلينا ترجعون كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |كل - Every| نفس - soul| ذائقة - (will) taste| الموت - the death.| ثم - Then| إلينا - to Us| ترجعون - you will be returned.| | ||||||
| 17 [31:23] | Waman kafara fala yahzunkakufruhu ilayna marjiAAuhum fanunabbi-ohum bimaAAamiloo inna Allaha AAaleemun bithati alssudoori | ومن كفر فلا يحزنك كفره إلينا مرجعهم فننبئهم بما عملوا إن الله عليم بذات الصدور وَمَن كَفَرَ فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ كُفْرُهُ إِلَيْنَا مَرْجِعُهُمْ فَنُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| كفر - disbelieves,| فلا - let not| يحزنك - grieve you| كفره - his disbelief.| إلينا - To Us| مرجعهم - (is) their return,| فننبئهم - then We will inform them| بما - of what| عملوا - they did.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) the All-Knower| بذات - of what| الصدور - (is in) the breasts.| | ||||||
| 18 [33:18] | Qad yaAAlamu Allahu almuAAawwiqeenaminkum waalqa-ileena li-ikhwanihim halummailayna wala ya/toona alba/sa illa qaleelan | قد يعلم الله المعوقين منكم والقائلين لإخوانهم هلم إلينا ولا يأتون البأس إلا قليلا قَدْ يَعْلَمُ اللَّهُ الْمُعَوِّقِينَ مِنكُمْ وَالْقَائِلِينَ لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ هَلُمَّ إِلَيْنَا وَلَا يَأْتُونَ الْبَأْسَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |قد - Verily,| يعلم - Allah knows| الله - Allah knows| المعوقين - those who hinder| منكم - among you| والقائلين - and those who say| لإخوانهم - to their brothers,| هلم - "Come| إلينا - to us,"| ولا - and not| يأتون - they come| البأس - (to) the battle| إلا - except| قليلا - a few,| | ||||||
| 19 [88:25] | Inna ilayna iyabahum | إن إلينا إيابهم إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ | |||||
