1 [12:65] | Walamma fatahoo mataAAahumwajadoo bidaAAatahum ruddat ilayhim qaloo yaabana ma nabghee hathihi bidaAAatunaruddat ilayna wanameeru ahlana wanahfathuakhana wanazdadu kayla baAAeerin thalikakaylun yaseerun
| ولما فتحوا متاعهم وجدوا بضاعتهم ردت إليهم قالوا يا أبانا ما نبغي هذه بضاعتنا ردت إلينا ونمير أهلنا ونحفظ أخانا ونزداد كيل بعير ذلك كيل يسير وَلَمَّا فَتَحُواْ مَتَاعَهُمْ وَجَدُواْ بِضَاعَتَهُمْ رُدَّتْ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مَا نَبْغِي هَـذِهِ بِضَاعَتُنَا رُدَّتْ إِلَيْنَا وَنَمِيرُ أَهْلَنَا وَنَحْفَظُ أَخَانَا وَنَزْدَادُ كَيْلَ بَعِيرٍ ذَلِكَ كَيْلٌ يَسِيرٌ |
Words | |ولما - And when| فتحوا - they opened| متاعهم - their baggage,| وجدوا - they found| بضاعتهم - their merchandise| ردت - returned| إليهم - to them.| قالوا - They said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| ما - What| نبغي - (could) we desire?| هذه - This| بضاعتنا - (is) our merchandise| ردت - returned| إلينا - to us.| ونمير - And we will get provision| أهلنا - (for) our family,| ونحفظ - and we will protect| أخانا - our brother| ونزداد - and get an increase| كيل - measure| بعير - (of) a camel's (load).| ذلك - That| كيل - (is) a measurement| يسير - easy."| |

| ዕቃቸውንም በከፈቱ ጊዜ ሸቀጣቸው ወደእነርሱ ተመልሳ አገኙ፡፡ ፡-«አባታችን ሆይ! ምን እንፈልጋለን ይህቺ ሸቀጣችን ናት፡፡ ወደኛ ተመልሳልናለች፤ (እንረዳባታለን)፡፡ ለቤተሰቦቻችንም እንሸምታለን፡፡ ወንድማችንንም እንጠብቃለን፡፡ የግመልንም ጭነት እንጨምራለን፡፡ ይህ (በንጉሡ ላይ) ቀላል ስፍር ነው» አሉ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولما فتحوا متاعهم وجدوا بضاعتهم ردت إليهم قالوا يا أبانا ما نبغي } ما استفهامية أي أيَّ نطلب من إكرام الملك أعظم من هذا وقرئ بالفوقانية خطابا ليعقوب وكانوا ذكروا له إكرامه لهم { هذه بضاعتنا ردت إلينا ونمير أهلنا } تأتي بالميرة لهم وهي الطعام { ونحفظ أخانا ونزداد كيل بعير } لأخينا { ذلك كيل يسير } سهل على الملك لسخائه . |
| Mi ldin lqecc nnsen, ufan tu$al iten id selâa nnsen. Nnan: "a babat nne$, ur neb$i tagi, selâa nne$ tu$al a$ d. A d nessikrer i twacult nne$, a nêareb $ef gmat nne$, a d nernu ppâabga n ul$wem. Tagi d ppâabga tushilt". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং যখন তারা আসবাবপত্র খুলল, তখন দেখতে পেল যে, তাদেরকে তাদের পন্যমুল্য ফেরত দেয়া হয়েছে। তারা বললঃ হে আমাদের পিতা, আমরা আর কি চাইতে পারি। এই আমাদের প্রদত্ত পন্যমূল্য, আমাদেরকে ফেরত দেয়া হয়েছে। এখন আমরা আবার আমাদের পরিবারবর্গের জন্যে রসদ আনব এবং আমাদের ভাইয়ের দেখাশোনা করব এবং এক এক উটের বরাদ্দ খাদ্যশস্য আমরা অতিরিক্ত আনব। ঐ বরাদ্দ সহজ। |
Literal | And when they opened their belongings/goods they found their goods/merchandise returned to them, they said: "You our father, we do not ask/desire , this (is) our goods/merchandise returned to us, and we bring food and supplies (to) our family/people , and we protect our brother, and we be increased a (transport) camel's weight , that (is) easy weight ." |
Yusuf Ali | Then when they opened their baggage, they found their stock-in-trade had been returned to them. They said: "O our father! What (more) can we desire? this our stock-in-trade has been returned to us: so we shall get (more) food for our family; We shall take care of our brother; and add (at the same time) a full camel's load (of grain to our provisions). This is but a small quantity. |
Pickthal | And when they opened their belongings they discovered that their merchandise had been returned to them. They said: O our father! What (more) can we ask? Here is our merchandise returned to us. We shall get provision for our folk and guard our brother, and we shall have the extra measure of a camel (load). This (that we bring now) is a light measure. |
Arberry | And when they opened their things, they found their merchandise, restored to them. 'Father,' they said, 'what more should we desire? See, our merchandise here is restored to us. We shall get provision for our family, and we shall be watching over our brother; we shall obtain an extra camel's load -- that is an easy measure. |

This is our property returned to us, and we will bring corn for our family and guard our brother, and will have in addition the measure of a camel (load); this is an easy measure. |

We can buy more provisions with this for our family. We shall protect our brother and have one more camel load of grain which is easy to get". |

Fateh Muhammad Jalandhary | اور جب انہوں نے اپنا اسباب کھولا تو دیکھا کہ ان کا سرمایہ واپس کر دیا گیا ہے۔ کہنے لگے ابّا ہمیں (اور) کیا چاہیئے (دیکھیے) یہ ہماری پونجی بھی ہمیں واپس کر دی گئی ہے۔ اب ہم اپنے اہل وعیال کے لیے پھر غلّہ لائیں گے اور اپنے بھائی کی نگہبانی کریں گے اور ایک بار شتر زیادہ لائیں گے (کہ) یہ غلّہ جو ہم لائے ہیں تھوڑا ہے |

Abul Ala Maududi | پھر جب انہوں نے اپنا سامان کھولا تو دیکھا کہ ان کا مال بھی انہیں واپس کر دیا گیا ہے یہ دیکھ کر وہ پکار اٹھے "ابا جان، اور ہمیں کیا چاہیے، دیکھیے یہ ہمارا مال بھی ہمیں واپس دے دیا گیا ہے بس اب ہم جائیں گے اور اپنے اہل و عیال کے لیے رسد لے آئیں گے، اپنے بھائی کی حفاظت بھی کریں گے اور ایک بارشتر اور زیادہ بھی لے آئیں گے، اتنے غلہ کا اضافہ آسانی کے ساتھ ہو جائے گا" |
