| 1 [2:107] | Alam taAAlam anna Allaha lahu mulkualssamawati waal-ardi wamalakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin |  ألم تعلم أن الله له ملك السماوات والأرض وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصيرأَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||

| 2 [2:120] | Walan tarda AAanka alyahoodu walaalnnasara hatta tattabiAAamillatahum qul inna huda Allahi huwa alhudawala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda allathee jaakamina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi min waliyyin walanaseerin | ولن ترضى عنك اليهود ولا النصارى حتى تتبع ملتهم قل إن هدى الله هو الهدى ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم بعد الذي جاءك من العلم ما لك من الله من ولي ولا نصير وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولن - And never| ترضى - will be pleased| عنك - with you| اليهود - the Jews| ولا - and [not]| النصارى - the Christians| حتى - until| تتبع - you follow| ملتهم - their religion.| قل - Say,| إن - "Indeed,| هدى - (the) Guidance| الله - (of) Allah,| هو - it| الهدى - (is) the Guidance."| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you follow| أهواءهم - their desires| بعد - after| الذي - what| جاءك - has come to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| ما - not| لك - for you| من - from| الله - Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - any helper.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:257] | Allahu waliyyu allatheena amanooyukhrijuhum mina alththulumati ilaalnnoori waallatheena kafaroo awliyaohumualttaghootu yukhrijoonahum mina alnnoori ilaalththulumati ola-ika as-habualnnari hum feeha khalidoona | الله ولي الذين آمنوا يخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور والذين كفروا أولياؤهم الطاغوت يخرجونهم من النور إلى الظلمات أولئك أصحاب النار هم فيها خالدون اللّهُ وَلِيُّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ يُخْرِجُهُم مِّنَ الظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّوُرِ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ أَوْلِيَآؤُهُمُ الطَّاغُوتُ يُخْرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ النُّورِ إِلَى الظُّلُمَاتِ أُوْلَـئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| ولي - (is the) Protecting Guardian| الذين - (of) those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| يخرجهم - He brings them out| من - from| الظلمات - [the] darkness| إلى - towards| النور - [the] light.| والذين - And those who| كفروا - disbelieve(d)| أولياؤهم - their guardians| الطاغوت - (are) the evil ones,| يخرجونهم - they bring them out| من - from| النور - the light| إلى - towards| الظلمات - [the] darkness.| أولئك - Those| أصحاب - (are the) companions| النار - (of) the Fire,| هم - they| فيها - in it| خالدون - will abide forever.| | ||||||
| 4 [3:68] | Inna awla alnnasibi-ibraheema lallatheena ittabaAAoohu wahathaalnnabiyyu waallatheena amanoo waAllahuwaliyyu almu/mineena | إن أولى الناس بإبراهيم للذين اتبعوه وهذا النبي والذين آمنوا والله ولي المؤمنين إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَـذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَاللّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| أولى - the best to claim relationship| الناس - (of) people| بإبراهيم - with Ibrahim| للذين - (are) those who| اتبعوه - follow him| وهذا - and this| النبي - [the] Prophet| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believe[d].| والله - And Allah| ولي - (is) a Guardian| المؤمنين - (of) the believers.| | ||||||
| 5 [6:51] | Waanthir bihi allatheena yakhafoonaan yuhsharoo ila rabbihim laysa lahum min doonihiwaliyyun wala shafeeAAun laAAallahum yattaqoona | وأنذر به الذين يخافون أن يحشروا إلى ربهم ليس لهم من دونه ولي ولا شفيع لعلهم يتقون وَأَنذِرْ بِهِ الَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَن يُحْشَرُواْ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ لَيْسَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأنذر - And warn| به - with it| الذين - those who| يخافون - fear| أن - that| يحشروا - they will be gathered| إلى - to| ربهم - their Lord,| ليس - not| لهم - for them| من - of| دونه - other than Him| ولي - any protector| ولا - and not| شفيع - any intercessor,| لعلهم - so that they may| يتقون - (become) righteous.| | ||||||
| 6 [6:70] | Wathari allatheena ittakhathoodeenahum laAAiban walahwan wagharrat-humu alhayatualddunya wathakkir bihi an tubsala nafsunbima kasabat laysa laha min dooni Allahiwaliyyun wala shafeeAAun wa-in taAAdil kulla AAadlin layu/khath minha ola-ika allatheenaobsiloo bima kasaboo lahum sharabun min hameeminwaAAathabun aleemun bima kanoo yakfuroona | وذر الذين اتخذوا دينهم لعبا ولهوا وغرتهم الحياة الدنيا وذكر به أن تبسل نفس بما كسبت ليس لها من دون الله ولي ولا شفيع وإن تعدل كل عدل لا يؤخذ منها أولئك الذين أبسلوا بما كسبوا لهم شراب من حميم وعذاب أليم بما كانوا يكفرون وَذَرِ الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمْ لَعِبًا وَلَهْوًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَذَكِّرْ بِهِ أَن تُبْسَلَ نَفْسٌ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلِيٌّ وَلاَ شَفِيعٌ وَإِن تَعْدِلْ كُلَّ عَدْلٍ لاَّ يُؤْخَذْ مِنْهَا أُوْلَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ أُبْسِلُواْ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ لَهُمْ شَرَابٌ مِّنْ حَمِيمٍ وَعَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وذر - And leave| الذين - those who| اتخذوا - take| دينهم - their religion| لعبا - (as) a play| ولهوا - and amusement| وغرتهم - and deluded them| الحياة - the life| الدنيا - (of) the world.| وذكر - But remind| به - with it,| أن - lest| تبسل - is given up to destruction| نفس - a soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it (has) earned,| ليس - not| لها - (is) for it| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah| ولي - any protector| ولا - and not| شفيع - any intercessor.| وإن - And if| تعدل - it offers ransom -| كل - every| عدل - ransom,| لا - not| يؤخذ - will it be taken| منها - from it.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) ones who| أبسلوا - are given to destruction| بما - for what| كسبوا - they earned.| لهم - For them| شراب - (will be) a drink| من - of| حميم - boiling water| وعذاب - and a punishment| أليم - painful| بما - because| كانوا - they used to| يكفرون - disbelieve.| | ||||||
| 7 [9:74] | Yahlifoona biAllahi maqaloo walaqad qaloo kalimata alkufri wakafaroobaAAda islamihim wahammoo bima lam yanaloowama naqamoo illa an aghnahumu Allahuwarasooluhu min fadlihi fa-in yatooboo yaku khayran lahumwa-in yatawallaw yuAAaththibhumu Allahu AAathabanaleeman fee alddunya waal-akhiratiwama lahum fee al-ardi min waliyyin wala naseerin | يحلفون بالله ما قالوا ولقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وكفروا بعد إسلامهم وهموا بما لم ينالوا وما نقموا إلا أن أغناهم الله ورسوله من فضله فإن يتوبوا يك خيرا لهم وإن يتولوا يعذبهم الله عذابا أليما في الدنيا والآخرة وما لهم في الأرض من ولي ولا نصير يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ مَا قَالُواْ وَلَقَدْ قَالُواْ كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُواْ بَعْدَ إِسْلاَمِهِمْ وَهَمُّواْ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُواْ وَمَا نَقَمُواْ إِلاَّ أَنْ أَغْنَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ فَإِن يَتُوبُواْ يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |يحلفون - They swear| بالله - by Allah| ما - (that) they said nothing,| قالوا - (that) they said nothing,| ولقد - while certainly| قالوا - they said| كلمة - (the) word| الكفر - (of) the disbelief| وكفروا - and disbelieved| بعد - after| إسلامهم - their (pretense of) Islam,| وهموا - and planned| بما - [of] what| لم - not| ينالوا - they could attain.| وما - And not| نقموا - they were resentful| إلا - except| أن - that| أغناهم - Allah had enriched them| الله - Allah had enriched them| ورسوله - and His Messenger| من - of| فضله - His Bounty.| فإن - So if| يتوبوا - they repent,| يك - it is| خيرا - better| لهم - for them,| وإن - and if| يتولوا - they turn away,| يعذبهم - Allah will punish them| الله - Allah will punish them| عذابا - (with) a punishment| أليما - painful,| في - in| الدنيا - the world| والآخرة - and (in) the Hereafter.| وما - And not| لهم - for them| في - in| الأرض - the earth| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - a helper.| | ||||||
| 8 [9:116] | Inna Allaha lahu mulku alssamawatiwaal-ardi yuhyee wayumeetu wama lakummin dooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin | إن الله له ملك السماوات والأرض يحيي ويميت وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصير إِنَّ اللّهَ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يُحْيِـي وَيُمِيتُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| له - to Him (belongs)| ملك - the dominion| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| يحيي - He gives life,| ويميت - and He causes death.| وما - And not| لكم - for you| من - besides Allah| دون - besides Allah| الله - besides Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - any helper.| | ||||||
| 9 [13:37] | Wakathalika anzalnahu hukmanAAarabiyyan wala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda majaaka mina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi minwaliyyin wala waqin | وكذلك أنزلناه حكما عربيا ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم بعدما جاءك من العلم ما لك من الله من ولي ولا واق وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ وَاقٍ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أنزلناه - We have revealed it| حكما - (to be) a judgment of authority| عربيا - (in) Arabic.| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you follow| أهواءهم - their desires| بعدما - after what| جاءك - came to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| ما - not| لك - for you| من - against| الله - Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| واق - defender.| | ||||||
| 10 [17:111] | Waquli alhamdu lillahi allatheelam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun feealmulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina alththulliwakabbirhu takbeeran | وقل الحمد لله الذي لم يتخذ ولدا ولم يكن له شريك في الملك ولم يكن له ولي من الذل وكبره تكبيرا وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَم يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلَّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| الحمد - "All Praise| لله - (is) for Allah| الذي - the One Who| لم - has not taken| يتخذ - has not taken| ولدا - a son| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| شريك - a partner| في - in| الملك - the dominion,| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| ولي - any protector| من - out of| الذل - weakness.| وكبره - And magnify Him| تكبيرا - (with all) magnificence."| | ||||||
| 11 [18:26] | Quli Allahu aAAlamu bimalabithoo lahu ghaybu alssamawati waal-ardiabsir bihi waasmiAA ma lahum min doonihi minwaliyyin wala yushriku fee hukmihi ahadan | قل الله أعلم بما لبثوا له غيب السماوات والأرض أبصر به وأسمع ما لهم من دونه من ولي ولا يشرك في حكمه أحدا قُلِ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا لَبِثُوا لَهُ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَبْصِرْ بِهِ وَأَسْمِعْ مَا لَهُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًا | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| الله - "Allah| أعلم - knows best| بما - about what (period)| لبثوا - they remained.| له - For Him| غيب - (is the) unseen| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| أبصر - How clearly He sees!| به - [of it]| وأسمع - And how clearly He hears!| ما - Not| لهم - for them| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| من - any| ولي - protector,| ولا - and not| يشرك - He shares| في - [in]| حكمه - His Commands| أحدا - (with) anyone."| | ||||||
| 12 [20:18] | Qala hiya AAasaya atawakkaoAAalayha waahushshu biha AAala ghanameewaliya feeha maaribu okhra | قال هي عصاي أتوكأ عليها وأهش بها على غنمي ولي فيها مآرب أخرى قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَ أَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَى غَنَمِي وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَآرِبُ أُخْرَى | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| هي - "It| عصاي - (is) my staff;| أتوكأ - I lean| عليها - upon it,| وأهش - and I bring down leaves| بها - with it| على - for| غنمي - my sheep,| ولي - and for me| فيها - in it| مآرب - (are) uses| أخرى - other."| | ||||||
| 13 [29:22] | Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee al-ardiwala fee alssama-i wama lakum mindooni Allahi min waliyyin wala naseerin | وما أنتم بمعجزين في الأرض ولا في السماء وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصير وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| أنتم - you| بمعجزين - can escape| في - in| الأرض - the earth| ولا - and not| في - in| السماء - the heaven.| وما - And not| لكم - for you| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - a helper.| | ||||||
| 14 [32:4] | Allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda wama baynahuma fee sittatiayyamin thumma istawa AAala alAAarshi malakum min doonihi min waliyyin wala shafeeAAin afalatatathakkaroona | الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وما بينهما في ستة أيام ثم استوى على العرش ما لكم من دونه من ولي ولا شفيع أفلا تتذكرون اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ مَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| الذي - (is) the One Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وما - and whatever| بينهما - (is) between them| في - in| ستة - six| أيام - periods.| ثم - Then| استوى - established Himself| على - on| العرش - the Throne.| ما - Not| لكم - for you| من - besides Him| دونه - besides Him| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| شفيع - any intercessor.| أفلا - Then will not| تتذكرون - you take heed?| | ||||||
| 15 [38:23] | Inna hatha akhee lahu tisAAunwatisAAoona naAAjatan waliya naAAjatun wahidatun faqalaakfilneeha waAAazzanee fee alkhitabi | إن هذا أخي له تسع وتسعون نعجة ولي نعجة واحدة فقال أكفلنيها وعزني في الخطاب إِنَّ هَذَا أَخِي لَهُ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةً وَلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي الْخِطَابِ | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| هذا - this| أخي - (is) my brother,| له - he has| تسع - ninety-nine| وتسعون - ninety-nine| نعجة - ewe(s)| ولي - while I have| نعجة - ewe| واحدة - one;| فقال - so he said,| أكفلنيها - "Entrust her to me,"| وعزني - and he overpowered me| في - in| الخطاب - [the] speech."| | ||||||
| 16 [41:34] | Wala tastawee alhasanatu walaalssayyi-atu idfaAA biallatee hiya ahsanufa-itha allathee baynaka wabaynahu AAadawatunkaannahu waliyyun hameemun | ولا تستوي الحسنة ولا السيئة ادفع بالتي هي أحسن فإذا الذي بينك وبينه عداوة كأنه ولي حميم وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And not| تستوي - (are) equal| الحسنة - the good (deed)| ولا - and| السيئة - the evil (deed).| ادفع - Repel| بالتي - by (that) which| هي - [it]| أحسن - (is) better;| فإذا - then behold!| الذي - One who,| بينك - between you| وبينه - and between him,| عداوة - (was) enmity,| كأنه - (will become) as if he| ولي - (was) a friend| حميم - intimate.| | ||||||
| 17 [42:8] | Walaw shaa Allahu lajaAAalahumommatan wahidatan walakin yudkhilu man yashaofee rahmatihi waalththalimoonama lahum min waliyyin wala naseerin | ولو شاء الله لجعلهم أمة واحدة ولكن يدخل من يشاء في رحمته والظالمون ما لهم من ولي ولا نصير وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَجَعَلَهُمْ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً وَلَكِن يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَاءُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ وَالظَّالِمُونَ مَا لَهُم مِّن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شاء - Allah willed,| الله - Allah willed,| لجعلهم - He could have made them| أمة - a community| واحدة - one,| ولكن - but| يدخل - He admits| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| في - in (to)| رحمته - His Mercy.| والظالمون - And the wrongdoers,| ما - not| لهم - for them| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| نصير - any helper.| | ||||||
| 18 [42:31] | Wama antum bimuAAjizeena fee al-ardiwama lakum min dooni Allahi min waliyyin walanaseerin | وما أنتم بمعجزين في الأرض وما لكم من دون الله من ولي ولا نصير وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ | |||||

| 19 [42:44] | Waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min waliyyin min baAAdihi watara alththalimeenalamma raawoo alAAathaba yaqooloona hal ilamaraddin min sabeelin | ومن يضلل الله فما له من ولي من بعده وترى الظالمين لما رأوا العذاب يقولون هل إلى مرد من سبيل وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن وَلِيٍّ مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَتَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَى مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يضلل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| ولي - protector| من - after Him.| بعده - after Him.| وترى - And you will see| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment| يقولون - saying,| هل - "Is| إلى - (there) for| مرد - return| من - any| سبيل - way?"| | ||||||
| 20 [45:19] | Innahum lan yughnoo AAanka mina Allahishay-an wa-inna alththalimeena baAAduhumawliyao baAAdin waAllahu waliyyualmuttaqeena | إنهم لن يغنوا عنك من الله شيئا وإن الظالمين بعضهم أولياء بعض والله ولي المتقين إِنَّهُمْ لَن يُغْنُوا عَنكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا وإِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ | |||||
