| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[13:37] | Wakathalika anzalnahu hukmanAAarabiyyan wala-ini ittabaAAta ahwaahum baAAda majaaka mina alAAilmi ma laka mina Allahi minwaliyyin wala waqin
|  وكذلك أنزلناه حكما عربيا ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم بعدما جاءك من العلم ما لك من الله من ولي ولا واق
وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُم بَعْدَ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ وَاقٍ |
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| أنزلناه - We have revealed it| حكما - (to be) a judgment of authority| عربيا - (in) Arabic.| ولئن - And if| اتبعت - you follow| أهواءهم - their desires| بعدما - after what| جاءك - came to you| من - of| العلم - the knowledge,| ما - not| لك - for you| من - against| الله - Allah| من - any| ولي - protector| ولا - and not| واق - defender.| |

| እንደዚሁ በዐረብኛ የተነገረ ፍትሕ ሲኾን አወረድነው፡፡ ዕውቀቱ ከመጣልህም በኋላ ዝንባሌዎቻቸውን ብትከተል ከአላህ ቅጣት ምንም ረዳትም ጠባቂም የለህም፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وكذلك } الإنزال { أنزلناه } أي القرآن { حكما عربيا } بلغة العرب تحكم به بين الناس { ولئن اتبعت أهواءهم } أي الكفار فيما يدعونك إليه من ملتهم فرضا { بعد ما جاءك من العلم } بالتوحيد { ما لك من الله من } زائدة { وليٍّ } ناصر { ولا واق } مانع من عذابه. |
| Akka ay t id Nessers, d ûûwab, s taâôabt. Ma teddiv d lhawiyya nnsen, deffir tisin n tussna $uôek, ur k ipfukku bab ne$ asettaô, seg ufus n Öebbi. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এমনিভাবেই আমি এ কোরআনকে আরবী ভাষায় নির্দেশরূপে অবতীর্ণ করেছি। যদি আপনি তাদের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করেন আপনার কাছে জ্ঞান পৌঁছার পর, তবে আল্লাহর কবল থেকে আপনার না কোন সাহায্যকারী আছে এবং না কোন রক্ষাকারী। |
| Literal | And as/like that We descended it an Arabic judgment/rule, and if (E) you followed their self attraction for desires/love and lusts after what came to you from the knowledge , no guardian/ally and nor protector/preserver, (is) for you from God. |
| Yusuf Ali | Thus have We revealed it to be a judgment of authority in Arabic. Wert thou to follow their (vain) desires after the knowledge which hath reached thee, then wouldst thou find neither protector nor defender against Allah. |
| Pickthal | Thus have We revealed it, a decisive utterance in Arabic; and if thou shouldst follow their desires after that which hath come unto thee of knowledge, then truly wouldst thou have from Allah no protecting friend nor defender. |
| Arberry | Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic judgment. And if thou dost follow their caprices, after the knowledge that has come to thee, thou shalt have no protector against God, and no defender. |

| Sarwar | We revealed it (the Quran) as a code of conduct in the Arabic language. (Muhammad), if you follow their desires after the knowledge has been revealed to you, know that no one will be able to guard or protect you from the wrath of God. |
