[42:44] | Waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min waliyyin min baAAdihi watara alththalimeenalamma raawoo alAAathaba yaqooloona hal ilamaraddin min sabeelin
|  ومن يضلل الله فما له من ولي من بعده وترى الظالمين لما رأوا العذاب يقولون هل إلى مرد من سبيل
وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن وَلِيٍّ مِّن بَعْدِهِ وَتَرَى الظَّالِمِينَ لَمَّا رَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ إِلَى مَرَدٍّ مِّن سَبِيلٍ |
| Words | |ومن - And whoever| يضلل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| ولي - protector| من - after Him.| بعده - after Him.| وترى - And you will see| الظالمين - the wrongdoers,| لما - when| رأوا - they see| العذاب - the punishment| يقولون - saying,| هل - "Is| إلى - (there) for| مرد - return| من - any| سبيل - way?"| |

| አላህ የሚያጠመውም ሰው ከእርሱ በኋለ ለእርሱ ምንም ረዳት የለውም፡፡ በደለኞችንም ቅጣቱን ባዩ ጊዜ ወደ መመለስ መንገድ አልለን? የሚሉ ሲኾኑ ታያቸዋለህ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ومن يضلل الله فما له من ولي من بعده } أي أحد يلي هدايته بعد إضلال الله إياه { وترى الظالمين لما رأوا العذاب يقولون هل إلى مَرَدّ } إلى الدنيا { من سبيل } طريق . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আল্লাহ যাকে পথ ভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার জন্যে তিনি ব্যতীত কোন কার্যনির্বাহী নেই। পাপাচারীরা যখন আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, তখন আপনি তাদেরকে দেখবেন যে, তারা বলছে আমাদের ফিরে যাওয়ার কোন উপায় আছে কি? |
| Literal | And whom God misguided, so (there is) none from a guardian/ally for him from after Him, and you see the unjust/oppressors when they saw the torture, they say: "Is (there) from a way/path to return?" |
| Yusuf Ali | For any whom Allah leaves astray, there is no protector thereafter. And thou wilt see the Wrong-doers, when in sight of the Penalty, Say: "Is there any way (to effect) a return?" |
| Pickthal | He whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no protecting friend after Him. And thou (Muhammad) wilt see the evil-doers when they see the doom, (how) they say: Is there any way of return? |
