| 1 [2:186] | Wa-itha saalaka AAibadeeAAannee fa-innee qareebun ojeebu daAAwata alddaAAiitha daAAani falyastajeeboo lee walyu/minoo beelaAAallahum yarshudoona |  وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا بي لعلهم يرشدونوَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُواْ لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُواْ بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| سألك - ask you| عبادي - My servants| عني - about Me,| فإني - then indeed I am| قريب - near.| أجيب - I respond| دعوة - (to the) invocation| الداع - (of) the supplicant| إذا - when| دعان - he calls Me.| فليستجيبوا - So let them respond| لي - to Me| وليؤمنوا - and let them believe| بي - in Me,| لعلهم - so that they may| يرشدون - (be) led aright.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:214] | Am hasibtum an tadkhuloo aljannatawalamma ya/tikum mathalu allatheena khalaw minqablikum massat-humu alba/sao waalddarraowazulziloo hatta yaqoola alrrasoolu waallatheenaamanoo maAAahu mata nasru Allahi alainna nasra Allahi qareebun | أم حسبتم أن تدخلوا الجنة ولما يأتكم مثل الذين خلوا من قبلكم مستهم البأساء والضراء وزلزلوا حتى يقول الرسول والذين آمنوا معه متى نصر الله ألا إن نصر الله قريب أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَن تَدْخُلُواْ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَأْتِكُم مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْاْ مِن قَبْلِكُم مَّسَّتْهُمُ الْبَأْسَاءُ وَالضَّرَّاءُ وَزُلْزِلُواْ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الرَّسُولُ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مَعَهُ مَتَى نَصْرُ اللّهِ أَلا إِنَّ نَصْرَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |أم - Or| حسبتم - (do) you think| أن - that| تدخلوا - you will enter| الجنة - Paradise| ولما - while not| يأتكم - (has) come to you| مثل - like (came to)| الذين - those who| خلوا - passed away| من - from| قبلكم - before you?| مستهم - Touched them| البأساء - [the] adversity| والضراء - and [the] hardship,| وزلزلوا - and they were shaken| حتى - until| يقول - said| الرسول - the Messenger| والذين - and those who| آمنوا - believed| معه - with him,| متى - "When| نصر - [will] (the) help| الله - (of) Allah (come)| ألا - Unquestionably,| إن - [Indeed]| نصر - help| الله - (of) Allah| قريب - (is) near.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:17] | Innama alttawbatu AAalaAllahi lillatheena yaAAmaloona alssoo-abijahalatin thumma yatooboona min qareebin faola-ikayatoobu Allahu AAalayhim wakana AllahuAAaleeman hakeeman | إنما التوبة على الله للذين يعملون السوء بجهالة ثم يتوبون من قريب فأولئك يتوب الله عليهم وكان الله عليما حكيما إِنَّمَا التَّوْبَةُ عَلَى اللّهِ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السُّوءَ بِجَهَالَةٍ ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِن قَرِيبٍ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ يَتُوبُ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَانَ اللّهُ عَلِيماً حَكِيماً | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| التوبة - the acceptance of repentance| على - by| الله - Allah| للذين - (is) for those who| يعملون - do| السوء - the evil| بجهالة - in ignorance,| ثم - then| يتوبون - they repent| من - from| قريب - soon after.| فأولئك - Then those| يتوب - will have forgiveness| الله - (from) Allah| عليهم - upon them,| وكان - and is| الله - Allah| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:77] | Alam tara ila allatheena qeelalahum kuffoo aydiyakum waaqeemoo alssalatawaatoo alzzakata falamma kutibaAAalayhimu alqitalu itha fareequn minhum yakhshawnaalnnasa kakhashyati Allahi aw ashaddakhashyatan waqaloo rabbana lima katabta AAalaynaalqitala lawla akhkhartana ila ajalinqareebin qul mataAAu alddunya qaleelun waal-akhiratukhayrun limani ittaqa wala tuthlamoonafateelan | ألم تر إلى الذين قيل لهم كفوا أيديكم وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة فلما كتب عليهم القتال إذا فريق منهم يخشون الناس كخشية الله أو أشد خشية وقالوا ربنا لم كتبت علينا القتال لولا أخرتنا إلى أجل قريب قل متاع الدنيا قليل والآخرة خير لمن اتقى ولا تظلمون فتيلا أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ قِيلَ لَهُمْ كُفُّواْ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ فَلَمَّا كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقِتَالُ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِّنْهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ النَّاسَ كَخَشْيَةِ اللّهِ أَوْ أَشَدَّ خَشْيَةً وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا لِمَ كَتَبْتَ عَلَيْنَا الْقِتَالَ لَوْلاَ أَخَّرْتَنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ قُلْ مَتَاعُ الدُّنْيَا قَلِيلٌ وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنِ اتَّقَى وَلاَ تُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Have not| تر - you seen| إلى - [towards]| الذين - those who| قيل - (when) it was said| لهم - to them,| كفوا - "Restrain| أيديكم - your hands| وأقيموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - the zakah?"| فلما - Then when| كتب - was ordained| عليهم - on them| القتال - the fighting,| إذا - then| فريق - a group| منهم - of them| يخشون - [they] fear| الناس - the people| كخشية - as (they) fear| الله - Allah| أو - or| أشد - more intense| خشية - fear,| وقالوا - and they said,| ربنا - "Our Lord| لم - why| كتبت - have You ordained| علينا - upon us| القتال - [the] fighting?| لولا - Why not| أخرتنا - You postpone (it for) us| إلى - to| أجل - a term,| قريب - near."| قل - Say,| متاع - "Enjoyment| الدنيا - (of) the world| قليل - (is) little| والآخرة - and the Hereafter| خير - (is) better| لمن - for whoever| اتقى - fears (Allah)| ولا - and not| تظلمون - you will be wronged| فتيلا - (even as much as) a hair on a date-seed."| | ||||||
| 5 [7:56] | Wala tufsidoo fee al-ardibaAAda islahiha waodAAoohu khawfan watamaAAaninna rahmata Allahi qareebun mina almuhsineena | ولا تفسدوا في الأرض بعد إصلاحها وادعوه خوفا وطمعا إن رحمت الله قريب من المحسنين وَلاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلاَحِهَا وَادْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ اللّهِ قَرِيبٌ مِّنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تفسدوا - cause corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بعد - after| إصلاحها - its reformation.| وادعوه - And call Him| خوفا - (in) fear| وطمعا - and hope.| إن - Indeed,| رحمت - (the) Mercy| الله - (of) Allah| قريب - (is) near| من - for| المحسنين - the good-doers.| | ||||||
| 6 [11:61] | Wa-ila thamooda akhahum salihanqala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu huwa anshaakum mina al-ardiwaistaAAmarakum feeha faistaghfiroohu thummatooboo ilayhi inna rabbee qareebun mujeebun | وإلى ثمود أخاهم صالحا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره هو أنشأكم من الأرض واستعمركم فيها فاستغفروه ثم توبوا إليه إن ربي قريب مجيب وَإِلَى ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ هُوَ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ الْأَرْضِ وَاسْتَعْمَرَكُمْ فِيهَا فَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ثُمَّ تُوبُواْ إِلَيْهِ إِنَّ رَبِّي قَرِيبٌ مُّجِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| ثمود - Thamud| أخاهم - (We sent) their brother| صالحا - Salih.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - you have| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| هو - He| أنشأكم - produced you| من - from| الأرض - the earth| واستعمركم - and settled you| فيها - in it.| فاستغفروه - So ask forgiveness of Him,| ثم - then| توبوا - turn in repentance| إليه - to Him.| إن - Indeed,| ربي - my Lord| قريب - (is) near,| مجيب - All-Responsive."| | ||||||
| 7 [11:64] | Waya qawmi hathihi naqatuAllahi lakum ayatan fatharooha ta/kulfee ardi Allahi wala tamassoohabisoo-in faya/khuthakum AAathabun qareebun | ويا قوم هذه ناقة الله لكم آية فذروها تأكل في أرض الله ولا تمسوها بسوء فيأخذكم عذاب قريب وَيَا قَوْمِ هَـذِهِ نَاقَةُ اللّهِ لَكُمْ آيَةً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوءٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |ويا - And O| قوم - And O my people!| هذه - This| ناقة - she-camel| الله - (of) Allah| لكم - (is) for you| آية - a Sign,| فذروها - so leave her| تأكل - to eat| في - in| أرض - the earth| الله - (of) Allah,| ولا - and (do) not| تمسوها - touch her| بسوء - with harm,| فيأخذكم - lest will seize you| عذاب - a punishment| قريب - impending."| | ||||||
| 8 [14:44] | Waanthiri alnnasa yawmaya/teehimu alAAathabu fayaqoolu allatheena thalamoorabbana akhkhirna ila ajalin qareebin nujibdaAAwataka wanattabiAAi alrrusula awa lam takoonooaqsamtum min qablu ma lakum min zawalin | وأنذر الناس يوم يأتيهم العذاب فيقول الذين ظلموا ربنا أخرنا إلى أجل قريب نجب دعوتك ونتبع الرسل أولم تكونوا أقسمتم من قبل ما لكم من زوال وَأَنذِرِ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ يَأْتِيهِمُ الْعَذَابُ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رَبَّنَا أَخِّرْنَا إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ نُّجِبْ دَعْوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ الرُّسُلَ أَوَلَمْ تَكُونُواْ أَقْسَمْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالٍ | |||||
| Words | |وأنذر - And warn| الناس - the mankind| يوم - (of) a Day| يأتيهم - (when) will come to them| العذاب - the punishment,| فيقول - then will say| الذين - those who| ظلموا - did wrong,| ربنا - "Our Lord!| أخرنا - Respite us| إلى - for| أجل - a term| قريب - short;| نجب - we will answer| دعوتك - Your call| ونتبع - and we will follow| الرسل - the Messengers."| أولم - "Had not| تكونوا - you| أقسمتم - sworn| من - before| قبل - before| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| زوال - end?| | ||||||
| 9 [34:50] | Qul in dalaltu fa-innama adilluAAala nafsee wa-ini ihtadaytu fabima yooheeilayya rabbee innahu sameeAAun qareebun | قل إن ضللت فإنما أضل على نفسي وإن اهتديت فبما يوحي إلي ربي إنه سميع قريب قُلْ إِن ضَلَلْتُ فَإِنَّمَا أَضِلُّ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَإِنِ اهْتَدَيْتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِي إِلَيَّ رَبِّي إِنَّهُ سَمِيعٌ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| إن - "If| ضللت - I err,| فإنما - then only| أضل - I will err| على - against| نفسي - myself.| وإن - But if| اهتديت - I am guided,| فبما - then it is by what| يوحي - reveals| إلي - to me| ربي - my Lord.| إنه - Indeed, He| سميع - (is) All-Hearer,| قريب - Ever-Near."| | ||||||
| 10 [34:51] | Walaw tara ith faziAAoo falafawta waokhithoo min makanin qareebin | ولو ترى إذ فزعوا فلا فوت وأخذوا من مكان قريب وَلَوْ تَرَى إِذْ فَزِعُوا فَلَا فَوْتَ وَأُخِذُوا مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| ترى - you (could) see| إذ - when| فزعوا - they will be terrified| فلا - but (there will be) no| فوت - escape,| وأخذوا - and they will be seized| من - from| مكان - a place| قريب - near.| | ||||||
| 11 [42:17] | Allahu allathee anzala alkitababialhaqqi waalmeezani wamayudreeka laAAalla alssaAAata qareebun | الله الذي أنزل الكتاب بالحق والميزان وما يدريك لعل الساعة قريب اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ السَّاعَةَ قَرِيبٌ | |||||
| Words | |الله - Allah| الذي - (is) the One Who| أنزل - (has) sent down| الكتاب - the Book| بالحق - in truth,| والميزان - and the Balance.| وما - And what| يدريك - will make you know?| لعل - Perhaps| الساعة - the Hour| قريب - (is) near.| | ||||||
| 12 [50:41] | WaistamiAA yawma yunadi almunadimin makanin qareebin | واستمع يوم يناد المناد من مكان قريب وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ | |||||

| 13 [61:13] | Waokhra tuhibboonaha nasrunmina Allahi wafathun qarreebun wabashshirialmu/mineena | وأخرى تحبونها نصر من الله وفتح قريب وبشر المؤمنين وَأُخْرَى تُحِبُّونَهَا نَصْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ وَفَتْحٌ قَرِيبٌ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وأخرى - And another| تحبونها - that you love -| نصر - a help| من - from| الله - Allah| وفتح - and a victory| قريب - near;| وبشر - and give glad tidings| المؤمنين - (to) the believers.| | ||||||
| 14 [63:10] | Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakummin qabli an ya/tiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbilawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqawaakun mina alssaliheena | وأنفقوا من ما رزقناكم من قبل أن يأتي أحدكم الموت فيقول رب لولا أخرتني إلى أجل قريب فأصدق وأكن من الصالحين وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ | |||||
