| 1 [2:83] | Wa-ith akhathna meethaqabanee isra-eela la taAAbudoona illa Allahawabialwalidayni ihsanan watheealqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaqooloo lilnnasi husnan waaqeemoo alssalatawaatoo alzzakata thumma tawallaytum illaqaleelan minkum waantum muAAridoona |  وإذ أخذنا ميثاق بني إسرائيل لا تعبدون إلا الله وبالوالدين إحسانا وذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وقولوا للناس حسنا وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة ثم توليتم إلا قليلا منكم وأنتم معرضونوَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَ بَنِىْ إِسْرَائِيلَ لاَ تَعْبُدُونَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَاناً وَّذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَقُولُواْ لِلنَّاسِ حُسْناً وَّأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ إِلاَّ قَلِيْلاً مِّنكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ مُّعْرِضُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| أخذنا - We took| ميثاق - (the) covenant| بني - (from the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel,| لا - "Not| تعبدون - you will worship| إلا - except| الله - Allah,| وبالوالدين - and with [the] parents| إحسانا - (be) good| وذي - and (with)| القربى - relatives| واليتامى - and [the] orphans| والمساكين - and the needy,| وقولوا - and speak| للناس - to [the] people| حسنا - good,| وأقيموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - the zakah."| ثم - Then| توليتم - you turned away,| إلا - except| قليلا - a few| منكم - of you,| وأنتم - and you (were)| معرضون - refusing.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:245] | Man tha allathee yuqriduAllaha qardan hasanan fayudaAAifahulahu adAAafan katheeratan waAllahuyaqbidu wayabsutu wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona | من ذا الذي يقرض الله قرضا حسنا فيضاعفه له أضعافا كثيرة والله يقبض ويبسط وإليه ترجعون مَّن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً وَاللّهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْسُطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |من - Who| ذا - (is) the one| الذي - who| يقرض - will lend| الله - (to) Allah -| قرضا - a loan| حسنا - good,| فيضاعفه - so (that) He multiplies it| له - for him -| أضعافا - manifolds| كثيرة - many| والله - And Allah| يقبض - withholds| ويبسط - and grants abundance,| وإليه - and to Him| ترجعون - you will be returned.| | ||||||
| 3 [3:37] | Fataqabbalaha rabbuhabiqaboolin hasanin waanbataha nabatan hasananwakaffalaha zakariyya kullama dakhalaAAalayha zakariyya almihraba wajadaAAindaha rizqan qala ya maryamu annalaki hatha qalat huwa min AAindi Allahi innaAllaha yarzuqu man yashao bighayri hisabin | فتقبلها ربها بقبول حسن وأنبتها نباتا حسنا وكفلها زكريا كلما دخل عليها زكريا المحراب وجد عندها رزقا قال يا مريم أنى لك هذا قالت هو من عند الله إن الله يرزق من يشاء بغير حساب فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقاً قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّى لَكِ هَـذَا قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |فتقبلها - So accepted her,| ربها - her Lord| بقبول - with acceptance| حسن - good,| وأنبتها - and reared her -| نباتا - a rearing| حسنا - good,| وكفلها - and put her in (the) care| زكريا - (of) Zakariya.| كلما - Whenever| دخل - entered| عليها - upon her| زكريا - Zakariya| المحراب - [the] prayer chamber| وجد - he found| عندها - with her| رزقا - provision.| قال - He said,| يا - O| مريم - "O Maryam!| أنى - From where| لك - for you| هذا - (is) this?"| قالت - She said,| هو - "This| من - (is)| عند - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يرزق - gives provision| من - (to) whom| يشاء - He wills| بغير - without| حساب - measure."| | ||||||
| 4 [5:12] | Walaqad akhatha Allahu meethaqabanee isra-eela wabaAAathna minhumu ithnay AAasharanaqeeban waqala Allahu innee maAAakum la-inaqamtumu alssalata waataytumu alzzakatawaamantum birusulee waAAazzartumoohum waaqradtumuAllaha qardan hasanan laokaffiranna AAankumsayyi-atikum walaodkhilannakum jannatin tajree mintahtiha al-anharu faman kafara baAAda thalikaminkum faqad dalla sawaa alssabeeli | ولقد أخذ الله ميثاق بني إسرائيل وبعثنا منهم اثني عشر نقيبا وقال الله إني معكم لئن أقمتم الصلاة وآتيتم الزكاة وآمنتم برسلي وعزرتموهم وأقرضتم الله قرضا حسنا لأكفرن عنكم سيئاتكم ولأدخلنكم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار فمن كفر بعد ذلك منكم فقد ضل سواء السبيل وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًا وَقَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ وَآمَنتُم بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| أخذ - took| الله - Allah| ميثاق - a Covenant| بني - (from the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| وبعثنا - and We appointed| منهم - among them| اثني - two| عشر - (and) ten| نقيبا - leaders.| وقال - And said| الله - Allah,| إني - "Indeed, I (am)| معكم - with you,| لئن - if| أقمتم - you establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتيتم - and give| الزكاة - the zakah| وآمنتم - and you believe| برسلي - in My Messengers| وعزرتموهم - and you assist them| وأقرضتم - and you loan| الله - (to) Allah| قرضا - a loan| حسنا - goodly| لأكفرن - surely I will remove| عنكم - from you| سيئاتكم - your evil deeds| ولأدخلنكم - and I will surely admit you| جنات - (to) gardens| تجري - flow| من - from| تحتها - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers.| فمن - But whoever| كفر - disbelieved| بعد - after| ذلك - that| منكم - among you,| فقد - then certainly| ضل - he strayed| سواء - (from) the way,| السبيل - the right.| | ||||||
| 5 [8:17] | Falam taqtuloohum walakinna Allahaqatalahum wama ramayta ith ramayta walakinnaAllaha rama waliyubliya almu/mineena minhu balaanhasanan inna Allaha sameeAAun AAaleemun | فلم تقتلوهم ولكن الله قتلهم وما رميت إذ رميت ولكن الله رمى وليبلي المؤمنين منه بلاء حسنا إن الله سميع عليم فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَـكِنَّ اللّهَ رَمَى وَلِيُبْلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلاَءً حَسَناً إِنَّ اللّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |فلم - And not| تقتلوهم - you kill them,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| قتلهم - killed them.| وما - And not| رميت - you threw| إذ - when| رميت - you threw,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| رمى - threw| وليبلي - and that He may test| المؤمنين - the believers| منه - from Him| بلاء - (with) a trial| حسنا - good.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| سميع - (is) All-Hearing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 6 [11:3] | Waani istaghfiroo rabbakum thumma toobooilayhi yumattiAAkum mataAAan hasanan ilaajalin musamman wayu/ti kulla thee fadlin fadlahuwa-in tawallaw fa-inee akhafu AAalaykum AAathabayawmin kabeerin | وأن استغفروا ربكم ثم توبوا إليه يمتعكم متاعا حسنا إلى أجل مسمى ويؤت كل ذي فضل فضله وإن تولوا فإني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم كبير وَأَنِ اسْتَغْفِرُواْ رَبَّكُمْ ثُمَّ تُوبُواْ إِلَيْهِ يُمَتِّعْكُم مَّتَاعًا حَسَنًا إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَيُؤْتِ كُلَّ ذِي فَضْلٍ فَضْلَهُ وَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَإِنِّيَ أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ كَبِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |وأن - And that| استغفروا - "Seek forgiveness| ربكم - (of) your Lord| ثم - and| توبوا - turn in repentance| إليه - to Him,| يمتعكم - He will let you| متاعا - enjoy| حسنا - a good| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed.| ويؤت - And give| كل - (to) every| ذي - owner| فضل - (of) grace| فضله - His Grace.| وإن - But if| تولوا - you turn away| فإني - then indeed, I| أخاف - fear| عليكم - for you| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Great Day.| كبير - (of) a Great Day.| | ||||||
| 7 [11:88] | Qala ya qawmi araaytum inkuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee warazaqanee minhu rizqanhasanan wama oreedu an okhalifakum ilama anhakum AAanhu in oreedu illa al-islahama istataAAtu wama tawfeeqee illa biAllahiAAalayhi tawakkaltu wa-ilayhi oneebu | قال يا قوم أرأيتم إن كنت على بينة من ربي ورزقني منه رزقا حسنا وما أريد أن أخالفكم إلى ما أنهاكم عنه إن أريد إلا الإصلاح ما استطعت وما توفيقي إلا بالله عليه توكلت وإليه أنيب قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىَ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّي وَرَزَقَنِي مِنْهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُخَالِفَكُمْ إِلَى مَا أَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ إِنْ أُرِيدُ إِلاَّ الْإِصْلاَحَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ وَمَا تَوْفِيقِي إِلاَّ بِاللّهِ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ أُنِيبُ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| أرأيتم - Do you see| إن - if| كنت - I am| على - on| بينة - a clear evidence| من - from| ربي - my Lord,| ورزقني - and He has provided me| منه - from Himself| رزقا - a good provision?| حسنا - a good provision?| وما - And not| أريد - I intend| أن - that| أخالفكم - I differ from you| إلى - in| ما - what| أنهاكم - I forbid you| عنه - from it.| إن - Not| أريد - I intend| إلا - except| الإصلاح - the reform| ما - as much as I am able.| استطعت - as much as I am able.| وما - And not| توفيقي - (is) my success| إلا - except| بالله - with Allah.| عليه - Upon Him| توكلت - I trust| وإليه - and to Him| أنيب - I turn.| | ||||||
| 8 [16:67] | Wamin thamarati alnnakheeli waal-aAAnabitattakhithoona minhu sakaran warizqan hasanan innafee thalika laayatan liqawmin yaAAqiloona | ومن ثمرات النخيل والأعناب تتخذون منه سكرا ورزقا حسنا إن في ذلك لآية لقوم يعقلون وَمِن ثَمَرَاتِ النَّخِيلِ وَالْأَعْنَابِ تَتَّخِذُونَ مِنْهُ سَكَرًا وَرِزْقًا حَسَنًا إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| ثمرات - fruits| النخيل - the date-palm,| والأعناب - and the grapes,| تتخذون - you take| منه - from it| سكرا - intoxicant| ورزقا - and a provision| حسنا - good.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - (is) surely a Sign| لقوم - for a people| يعقلون - who use reason.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:75] | Daraba Allahu mathalan AAabdanmamlookan la yaqdiru AAala shay-in waman razaqnahuminna rizqan hasanan fahuwa yunfiqu minhu sirranwajahran hal yastawoona alhamdu lillahi balaktharuhum la yaAAlamoona | ضرب الله مثلا عبدا مملوكا لا يقدر على شيء ومن رزقناه منا رزقا حسنا فهو ينفق منه سرا وجهرا هل يستوون الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون ضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوكًا لاَّ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَاهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا هَلْ يَسْتَوُونَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ضرب - Allah sets forth| الله - Allah sets forth| مثلا - the example| عبدا - (of) a slave| مملوكا - (who is) owned,| لا - not| يقدر - he has power| على - on| شيء - anything| ومن - and (one) whom| رزقناه - We provided him| منا - from Us| رزقا - a provision| حسنا - good,| فهو - so he| ينفق - spends| منه - from it,| سرا - secretly| وجهرا - and publicly.| هل - Can| يستوون - they be equal?| الحمد - All praise| لله - (is) for Allah!| بل - Nay,| أكثرهم - but most of them| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 10 [18:2] | Qayyiman liyunthira ba/san shadeedanmin ladunhu wayubashshira almu/mineena allatheenayaAAmaloona alssalihati anna lahum ajran hasanan | قيما لينذر بأسا شديدا من لدنه ويبشر المؤمنين الذين يعملون الصالحات أن لهم أجرا حسنا قَيِّمًا لِّيُنذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِن لَّدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا | |||||
| Words | |قيما - Straight,| لينذر - to warn| بأسا - (of) a punishment| شديدا - severe,| من - from| لدنه - near Him,| ويبشر - and give glad tidings| المؤمنين - (to) the believers,| الذين - those who| يعملون - do| الصالحات - righteous deeds,| أن - that| لهم - for them| أجرا - (is) a good reward.| حسنا - (is) a good reward.| | ||||||
| 11 [18:86] | Hatta itha balaghamaghriba alshshamsi wajadaha taghrubu fee AAaynin hami-atinwawajada AAindaha qawman qulna ya thaalqarnayni imma an tuAAaththiba wa-imma antattakhitha feehim husnan | حتى إذا بلغ مغرب الشمس وجدها تغرب في عين حمئة ووجد عندها قوما قلنا يا ذا القرنين إما أن تعذب وإما أن تتخذ فيهم حسنا حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ الشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَغْرُبُ فِي عَيْنٍ حَمِئَةٍ وَوَجَدَ عِندَهَا قَوْمًا قُلْنَا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِمَّا أَن تُعَذِّبَ وَإِمَّا أَن تَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ حُسْنًا | |||||

| 12 [20:86] | FarajaAAa moosa ila qawmihighadbana asifan qala ya qawmi alamyaAAidkum rabbukum waAAdan hasanan afatalaAAalaykumu alAAahdu am aradtum an yahilla AAalaykum ghadabunmin rabbikum faakhlaftum mawAAidee | فرجع موسى إلى قومه غضبان أسفا قال يا قوم ألم يعدكم ربكم وعدا حسنا أفطال عليكم العهد أم أردتم أن يحل عليكم غضب من ربكم فأخلفتم موعدي فَرَجَعَ مُوسَى إِلَى قَوْمِهِ غَضْبَانَ أَسِفًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْعَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُم مَّوْعِدِي | |||||
| Words | |فرجع - Then Musa returned| موسى - Then Musa returned| إلى - to| قومه - his people| غضبان - angry| أسفا - (and) sorrowful.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| ألم - Did not| يعدكم - promise you| ربكم - your Lord| وعدا - a promise| حسنا - good?| أفطال - Then, did seem long| عليكم - to you| العهد - the promise,| أم - or| أردتم - did you desire| أن - that| يحل - descend| عليكم - upon you| غضب - (the) Anger| من - of| ربكم - your Lord,| فأخلفتم - so you broke| موعدي - (the) promise to me?"| | ||||||
| 13 [22:58] | Waallatheena hajaroofee sabeeli Allahi thumma qutiloo aw matoolayarzuqannahumu Allahu rizqan hasanan wa-inna Allahalahuwa khayru alrraziqeena | والذين هاجروا في سبيل الله ثم قتلوا أو ماتوا ليرزقنهم الله رزقا حسنا وإن الله لهو خير الرازقين وَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوا أَوْ مَاتُوا لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ اللَّهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| هاجروا - emigrated| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| ثم - then| قتلوا - were killed| أو - or| ماتوا - died,| ليرزقنهم - surely, Allah will provide them| الله - surely, Allah will provide them| رزقا - a provision| حسنا - good.| وإن - And indeed| الله - Allah,| لهو - surely, He| خير - (is the) Best| الرازقين - (of) the Providers.| | ||||||
| 14 [27:11] | Illa man thalama thummabaddala husnan baAAda soo-in fa-innee ghafoorun raheemun | إلا من ظلم ثم بدل حسنا بعد سوء فإني غفور رحيم إِلَّا مَن ظَلَمَ ثُمَّ بَدَّلَ حُسْنًا بَعْدَ سُوءٍ فَإِنِّي غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||

| 15 [28:61] | Afaman waAAadnahu waAAdan hasananfahuwa laqeehi kaman mattaAAnahu mataAAa alhayatialddunya thumma huwa yawma alqiyamati minaalmuhdareena | أفمن وعدناه وعدا حسنا فهو لاقيه كمن متعناه متاع الحياة الدنيا ثم هو يوم القيامة من المحضرين أَفَمَن وَعَدْنَاهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ لَاقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعْنَاهُ مَتَاعَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ هُوَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنَ الْمُحْضَرِينَ | |||||

| 16 [29:8] | Wawassayna al-insana biwalidayhihusnan wa-in jahadaka litushrika bee malaysa laka bihi AAilmun fala tutiAAhumailayya marjiAAukum faonabbi-okum bima kuntum taAAmaloona | ووصينا الإنسان بوالديه حسنا وإن جاهداك لتشرك بي ما ليس لك به علم فلا تطعهما إلي مرجعكم فأنبئكم بما كنتم تعملون وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا وَإِن جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ووصينا - And We have enjoined| الإنسان - (on) man| بوالديه - goodness to his parents,| حسنا - goodness to his parents,| وإن - but if| جاهداك - they both strive against you| لتشرك - to make you associate| بي - with Me| ما - what| ليس - not| لك - you have| به - of it| علم - any knowledge,| فلا - then (do) not| تطعهما - obey both of them.| إلي - To Me| مرجعكم - (is) your return,| فأنبئكم - and I will inform you| بما - about what| كنتم - you used| تعملون - (to) do.| | ||||||
| 17 [35:8] | Afaman zuyyina lahu soo-o AAamalihi faraahuhasanan fa-inna Allaha yudillu man yashaowayahdee man yashao fala tathhab nafsukaAAalayhim hasaratin inna Allaha AAaleemunbima yasnaAAoona | أفمن زين له سوء عمله فرآه حسنا فإن الله يضل من يشاء ويهدي من يشاء فلا تذهب نفسك عليهم حسرات إن الله عليم بما يصنعون أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُ سُوءُ عَمَلِهِ فَرَآهُ حَسَنًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي مَن يَشَاءُ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَاتٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Then is (he) who -| زين - is made fair-seeming| له - to him| سوء - (the) evil| عمله - (of) his deed -| فرآه - so that he sees it| حسنا - (as) good?| فإن - For indeed,| الله - Allah| يضل - lets go astray| من - whom| يشاء - He wills| ويهدي - and guides| من - whom| يشاء - He wills.| فلا - So (let) not| تذهب - go out| نفسك - your soul| عليهم - for them| حسرات - (in) regrets.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knower| بما - of what| يصنعون - they do.| | ||||||
| 18 [42:23] | Thalika allathee yubashshiruAllahu AAibadahu allatheena amanoowaAAamiloo alssalihati qul laas-alukum AAalayhi ajran illa almawaddata fee alqurbawaman yaqtarif hasanatan nazid lahu feeha husnaninna Allaha ghafoorun shakoorun | ذلك الذي يبشر الله عباده الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات قل لا أسألكم عليه أجرا إلا المودة في القربى ومن يقترف حسنة نزد له فيها حسنا إن الله غفور شكور ذَلِكَ الَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ اللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ قُل لَّا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَى وَمَن يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَّزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Words | |ذلك - That| الذي - (is of) which| يبشر - Allah gives glad tidings| الله - Allah gives glad tidings| عباده - (to) His slaves -| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe| وعملوا - and do| الصالحات - righteous deeds.| قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أسألكم - I ask you| عليه - for it| أجرا - any payment| إلا - except| المودة - the love| في - among| القربى - the relatives."| ومن - And whoever| يقترف - earns| حسنة - any good,| نزد - We increase| له - for him| فيها - therein| حسنا - good.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| شكور - All-Appreciative.| | ||||||
| 19 [48:16] | Qul lilmukhallafeena mina al-aAArabisatudAAawna ila qawmin olee ba/sin shadeedin tuqatiloonahumaw yuslimoona fa-in tuteeAAoo yu/tikumu Allahuajran hasanan wa-in tatawallaw kama tawallaytum minqablu yuAAaththibkum AAathaban aleeman | قل للمخلفين من الأعراب ستدعون إلى قوم أولي بأس شديد تقاتلونهم أو يسلمون فإن تطيعوا يؤتكم الله أجرا حسنا وإن تتولوا كما توليتم من قبل يعذبكم عذابا أليما قُل لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ سَتُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ أُوْلِي بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ تُقَاتِلُونَهُمْ أَوْ يُسْلِمُونَ فَإِن تُطِيعُوا يُؤْتِكُمُ اللَّهُ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا كَمَا تَوَلَّيْتُم مِّن قَبْلُ يُعَذِّبْكُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||
