| 3 [2:185] | Shahru ramadana allatheeonzila feehi alqur-anu hudan lilnnasiwabayyinatin mina alhuda waalfurqanifaman shahida minkumu alshshahra falyasumhu waman kanamareedan aw AAala safarin faAAiddatun min ayyaminokhara yureedu Allahu bikumu alyusra wala yureedubikumu alAAusra walitukmiloo alAAiddata walitukabbiroo AllahaAAala ma hadakum walaAAallakum tashkuroona | شهر رمضان الذي أنزل فيه القرآن هدى للناس وبينات من الهدى والفرقان فمن شهد منكم الشهر فليصمه ومن كان مريضا أو على سفر فعدة من أيام أخر يريد الله بكم اليسر ولا يريد بكم العسر ولتكملوا العدة ولتكبروا الله على ما هداكم ولعلكم تشكرون شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِيْ أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَى وَالْفُرْقَانِ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ وَمَن كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ يُرِيدُ اللّهُ بِكُمُ الْيُسْرَ وَلاَ يُرِيدُ بِكُمُ الْعُسْرَ وَلِتُكْمِلُواْ الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ اللّهَ عَلَى مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 4 [3:123] | Walaqad nasarakumu Allahubibadrin waantum athillatun faittaqoo AllahalaAAallakum tashkuroona | ولقد نصركم الله ببدر وأنتم أذلة فاتقوا الله لعلكم تشكرون وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| نصركم - helped you| الله - Allah| ببدر - in Badr| وأنتم - while you (were)| أذلة - weak.| فاتقوا - So fear| الله - Allah| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:6] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooitha qumtum ila alssalati faighsiloowujoohakum waaydiyakum ila almarafiqi waimsahoobiruoosikum waarjulakum ila alkaAAbayni wa-in kuntumjunuban faittahharoo wa-in kuntum marda awAAala safarin aw jaa ahadun minkum mina algha-itiaw lamastumu alnnisaa falam tajidoo maanfatayammamoo saAAeedan tayyiban faimsahoobiwujoohikum waaydeekum minhu ma yureedu AllahuliyajAAala AAalaykum min harajin walakin yureeduliyutahhirakum waliyutimma niAAmatahu AAalaykumlaAAallakum tashkuroona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا قمتم إلى الصلاة فاغسلوا وجوهكم وأيديكم إلى المرافق وامسحوا برءوسكم وأرجلكم إلى الكعبين وإن كنتم جنبا فاطهروا وإن كنتم مرضى أو على سفر أو جاء أحد منكم من الغائط أو لامستم النساء فلم تجدوا ماء فتيمموا صعيدا طيبا فامسحوا بوجوهكم وأيديكم منه ما يريد الله ليجعل عليكم من حرج ولكن يريد ليطهركم وليتم نعمته عليكم لعلكم تشكرون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَاغْسِلُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ وَأَيْدِيَكُمْ إِلَى الْمَرَافِقِ وَامْسَحُواْ بِرُؤُوسِكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُمْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَينِ وَإِن كُنْتُمْ جُنُبًا فَاطَّهَّرُواْ وَإِن كُنتُم مَّرْضَى أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ أَوْ جَاءَ أَحَدٌ مِّنكُم مِّنَ الْغَائِطِ أَوْ لاَمَسْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَلَمْ تَجِدُواْ مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُواْ صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا فَامْسَحُواْ بِوُجُوهِكُمْ وَأَيْدِيكُم مِّنْهُ مَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيَجْعَلَ عَلَيْكُم مِّنْ حَرَجٍ وَلَـكِن يُرِيدُ لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ وَلِيُتِمَّ نِعْمَتَهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| إذا - When| قمتم - you stand up| إلى - for| الصلاة - the prayer,| فاغسلوا - then wash| وجوهكم - your faces| وأيديكم - and your hands| إلى - till| المرافق - the elbows| وامسحوا - and wipe| برءوسكم - your heads| وأرجلكم - and your feet| إلى - till| الكعبين - the ankles.| وإن - But if| كنتم - you are| جنبا - (in) a state of ceremonial impurity| فاطهروا - then purify yourselves.| وإن - But if| كنتم - you are| مرضى - ill| أو - or| على - on| سفر - a journey| أو - or| جاء - has come| أحد - anyone| منكم - of you| من - from| الغائط - the toilet| أو - or| لامستم - has (had) contact| النساء - (with) the women| فلم - and not| تجدوا - you find| ماء - water,| فتيمموا - then do tayyammum| صعيدا - (with) earth| طيبا - clean,| فامسحوا - then wipe| بوجوهكم - your faces| وأيديكم - and your hands| منه - with it.| ما - Does not| يريد - intend| الله - Allah| ليجعل - to make| عليكم - for you| من - any| حرج - difficulty| ولكن - but| يريد - He intends| ليطهركم - to purify you| وليتم - and to complete| نعمته - His Favor| عليكم - upon you| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 6 [5:89] | La yu-akhithukumu Allahubiallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yu-akhithukumbima AAaqqadtumu al-aymana fakaffaratuhu itAAamuAAasharati masakeena min awsati ma tutAAimoonaahleekum aw kiswatuhum aw tahreeru raqabatin faman lamyajid fasiyamu thalathati ayyamin thalikakaffaratu aymanikum itha halaftum waihfathooaymanakum kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakum ayatihilaAAallakum tashkuroona | لا يؤاخذكم الله باللغو في أيمانكم ولكن يؤاخذكم بما عقدتم الأيمان فكفارته إطعام عشرة مساكين من أوسط ما تطعمون أهليكم أو كسوتهم أو تحرير رقبة فمن لم يجد فصيام ثلاثة أيام ذلك كفارة أيمانكم إذا حلفتم واحفظوا أيمانكم كذلك يبين الله لكم آياته لعلكم تشكرون لاَ يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِي أَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلَـكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا عَقَّدتُّمُ الْأَيْمَانَ فَكَفَّارَتُهُ إِطْعَامُ عَشَرَةِ مَسَاكِينَ مِنْ أَوْسَطِ مَا تُطْعِمُونَ أَهْلِيكُمْ أَوْ كِسْوَتُهُمْ أَوْ تَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ذَلِكَ كَفَّارَةُ أَيْمَانِكُمْ إِذَا حَلَفْتُمْ وَاحْفَظُواْ أَيْمَانَكُمْ كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |لا - Not| يؤاخذكم - will call you to account| الله - Allah| باللغو - for the thoughtless utterances| في - in| أيمانكم - your oaths| ولكن - but| يؤاخذكم - He will call you to account| بما - for what| عقدتم - you contracted| الأيمان - (of) the oath.| فكفارته - So its expiation| إطعام - (is) feeding| عشرة - (of) ten| مساكين - needy people| من - of| أوسط - average| ما - (of) what| تطعمون - you feed| أهليكم - your families| أو - or| كسوتهم - clothing them| أو - or| تحرير - freeing| رقبة - a slave.| فمن - But whoever| لم - (does) not| يجد - find| فصيام - (that), then fasting| ثلاثة - (for) three| أيام - days.| ذلك - That| كفارة - (is the) expiation| أيمانكم - (of) your oaths| إذا - when| حلفتم - you have sworn.| واحفظوا - And guard| أيمانكم - your oaths.| كذلك - Thus| يبين - makes clear| الله - Allah| لكم - to you| آياته - His Verses| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 7 [7:10] | Walaqad makkannakum fee al-ardiwajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayisha qaleelan matashkuroona | ولقد مكناكم في الأرض وجعلنا لكم فيها معايش قليلا ما تشكرون وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| مكناكم - We established you| في - in| الأرض - the earth| وجعلنا - and We made| لكم - for you| فيها - in it| معايش - livelihood.| قليلا - Little| ما - (is) what| تشكرون - you (are) grateful.| | ||||||
| 8 [8:26] | Waothkuroo ith antumqaleelun mustadAAafoona fee al-ardi takhafoonaan yatakhattafakumu alnnasu faawakumwaayyadakum binasrihi warazaqakum mina alttayyibatilaAAallakum tashkuroona | واذكروا إذ أنتم قليل مستضعفون في الأرض تخافون أن يتخطفكم الناس فآواكم وأيدكم بنصره ورزقكم من الطيبات لعلكم تشكرون وَاذْكُرُواْ إِذْ أَنتُمْ قَلِيلٌ مُّسْتَضْعَفُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَخَافُونَ أَن يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ النَّاسُ فَآوَاكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُم بِنَصْرِهِ وَرَزَقَكُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكروا - And remember| إذ - when| أنتم - you| قليل - (were) few| مستضعفون - (and) deemed weak| في - in| الأرض - the earth| تخافون - fearing| أن - that| يتخطفكم - might do away with you| الناس - the men,| فآواكم - then He sheltered you,| وأيدكم - and strengthened you| بنصره - with His help,| ورزقكم - and provided you| من - of| الطيبات - the good things| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) thankful.| | ||||||
| 9 [16:14] | Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahralita/kuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoominhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulkamawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona | وهو الذي سخر البحر لتأكلوا منه لحما طريا وتستخرجوا منه حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك مواخر فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 10 [16:78] | WaAllahu akhrajakum min butooniommahatikum la taAAlamoona shay-an wajaAAala lakumualssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idatalaAAallakum tashkuroona | والله أخرجكم من بطون أمهاتكم لا تعلمون شيئا وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة لعلكم تشكرون وَاللّهُ أَخْرَجَكُم مِّن بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْسَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والله - And Allah| أخرجكم - brought you forth| من - from| بطون - the wombs| أمهاتكم - (of) your mothers,| لا - not| تعلمون - knowing| شيئا - anything,| وجعل - and made| لكم - for you| السمع - the hearing| والأبصار - and the sight| والأفئدة - and the hearts| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - give thanks.| | ||||||
| 11 [22:36] | Waalbudna jaAAalnahalakum min shaAAa-iri Allahi lakum feehakhayrun faothkuroo isma Allahi AAalayhasawaffa fa-itha wajabat junoobuhafakuloo minha waatAAimoo alqaniAAa waalmuAAtarrakathalika sakhkharnaha lakum laAAallakumtashkuroona | والبدن جعلناها لكم من شعائر الله لكم فيها خير فاذكروا اسم الله عليها صواف فإذا وجبت جنوبها فكلوا منها وأطعموا القانع والمعتر كذلك سخرناها لكم لعلكم تشكرون وَالْبُدْنَ جَعَلْنَاهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ فَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا صَوَافَّ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتْ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْقَانِعَ وَالْمُعْتَرَّ كَذَلِكَ سَخَّرْنَاهَا لَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |والبدن - And the camels and cattle -| جعلناها - We have made them| لكم - for you| من - among| شعائر - (the) Symbols| الله - (of) Allah,| لكم - for you| فيها - therein| خير - (is) good.| فاذكروا - So mention| اسم - (the) name| الله - (of) Allah| عليها - over them| صواف - (when) lined up;| فإذا - and when| وجبت - are down| جنوبها - their sides,| فكلوا - then eat| منها - from them| وأطعموا - and feed| القانع - the needy who do not ask| والمعتر - and the needy who ask.| كذلك - Thus| سخرناها - We have subjected them| لكم - to you| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 12 [23:78] | Wahuwa allathee anshaa lakumu alssamAAawaal-absara waal-af-idata qaleelan matashkuroona | وهو الذي أنشأ لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 13 [28:73] | Wamin rahmatihi jaAAala lakumuallayla waalnnahara litaskunoo feehi walitabtaghoomin fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | ومن رحمته جعل لكم الليل والنهار لتسكنوا فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ومن - And from| رحمته - His Mercy| جعل - He made| لكم - for you| الليل - the night| والنهار - and the day,| لتسكنوا - that you may rest| فيه - therein| ولتبتغوا - and that you may seek| من - from| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and so that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 14 [30:46] | Wamin ayatihi an yursila alrriyahamubashshiratin waliyutheeqakum min rahmatihiwalitajriya alfulku bi-amrihi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona | ومن آياته أن يرسل الرياح مبشرات وليذيقكم من رحمته ولتجري الفلك بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَن يُرْسِلَ الرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَاتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِ وَلِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 15 [32:9] | Thumma sawwahu wanafakha feehi min roohihiwajaAAala lakumu alssamAAa waal-absara waal-af-idataqaleelan ma tashkuroona | ثم سواه ونفخ فيه من روحه وجعل لكم السمع والأبصار والأفئدة قليلا ما تشكرون ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِهِ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||

| 16 [35:12] | Wama yastawee albahranihatha AAathbun furatun sa-ighun sharabuhuwahatha milhun ojajun wamin kullinta/kuloona lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoona hilyatantalbasoonaha watara alfulka feehi mawakhiralitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | وما يستوي البحران هذا عذب فرات سائغ شرابه وهذا ملح أجاج ومن كل تأكلون لحما طريا وتستخرجون حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك فيه مواخر لتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَمَا يَسْتَوِي الْبَحْرَانِ هَذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ سَائِغٌ شَرَابُهُ وَهَذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَمِن كُلٍّ تَأْكُلُونَ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُونَ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ فِيهِ مَوَاخِرَ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يستوي - are alike| البحران - the two seas.| هذا - This| عذب - (is) fresh,| فرات - sweet,| سائغ - pleasant| شرابه - its drink,| وهذا - and this| ملح - salty| أجاج - (and) bitter.| ومن - And from| كل - each| تأكلون - you eat| لحما - meat| طريا - fresh| وتستخرجون - and you extract| حلية - ornaments| تلبسونها - you wear them,| وترى - and you see| الفلك - the ships| فيه - in it,| مواخر - cleaving,| لتبتغوا - so that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تشكرون - be grateful.| | ||||||
| 17 [45:12] | Allahu allathee sakhkharalakumu albahra litajriya alfulku feehi bi-amrihiwalitabtaghoo min fadlihi walaAAallakum tashkuroona | الله الذي سخر لكم البحر لتجري الفلك فيه بأمره ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون اللَّهُ الَّذِي سخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْبَحْرَ لِتَجْرِيَ الْفُلْكُ فِيهِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
