| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[3:123] | Walaqad nasarakumu Allahubibadrin waantum athillatun faittaqoo AllahalaAAallakum tashkuroona
|  ولقد نصركم الله ببدر وأنتم أذلة فاتقوا الله لعلكم تشكرون
وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ |
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| نصركم - helped you| الله - Allah| ببدر - in Badr| وأنتم - while you (were)| أذلة - weak.| فاتقوا - So fear| الله - Allah| لعلكم - so that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| |

| በበድርም እናንተ ጥቂቶች ኾናችሁ ሳለ አላህ በእርግጥ ረዳችሁ፡፡ አላህንም ታመሰግኑ ዘንድ ፍሩት፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | ونزل لما هزموا تذكيرا لهم بنعمة الله { ولقد نصركم الله ببدر } موضع بين مكة والمدينة { وأنتم أذلة } بقلة العدد والسلاح { فاتقوا الله لعلكم تشكرون } نعمه . |
| Ni$ Iâiwen ikwen Öebbi di Badô, mi tellam tendellem. Ihi, êezzbet i Öebbi, amar a ppesnemmrem. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ বদরের যুদ্ধে তোমাদের সাহায্য করেছেন, অথচ তোমরা ছিলে দুর্বল। কাজেই আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞ হতে পারো। |
| Literal | And God had (E) given you victory/aid with (at) Badr , and you are humiliated/disgraced , so fear and obey God, maybe/perhaps you thank/be grateful. |
| Yusuf Ali | Allah had helped you at Badr, when ye were a contemptible little force; then fear Allah; thus May ye show your gratitude. |
| Pickthal | Allah had already given you the victory at Badr, when ye were contemptible. So observe your duty to Allah in order that ye may be thankful. |
| Arberry | and God most surely helped you at Badr, when you were utterly abject. So fear God, and haply you Will be thankful. |
