| 1 [4:61] | Wa-itha qeela lahum taAAalawila ma anzala Allahu wa-ila alrrasooliraayta almunafiqeena yasuddoona AAanka sudoodan |  وإذا قيل لهم تعالوا إلى ما أنزل الله وإلى الرسول رأيت المنافقين يصدون عنك صدوداوَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ رَأَيْتَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يَصُدُّونَ عَنكَ صُدُودًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| تعالوا - "Come| إلى - to| ما - what| أنزل - (has) revealed| الله - Allah| وإلى - and to| الرسول - the Messenger,"| رأيت - you see| المنافقين - the hypocrites| يصدون - turning away| عنك - from you| صدودا - (in) aversion.| | ||||||
| 2 [4:88] | Fama lakum fee almunafiqeenafi-atayni waAllahu arkasahum bima kasabooatureedoona an tahdoo man adalla Allahu waman yudliliAllahu falan tajida lahu sabeelan | فما لكم في المنافقين فئتين والله أركسهم بما كسبوا أتريدون أن تهدوا من أضل الله ومن يضلل الله فلن تجد له سبيلا فَمَا لَكُمْ فِي الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِئَتَيْنِ وَاللّهُ أَرْكَسَهُم بِمَا كَسَبُواْ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَهْدُواْ مَنْ أَضَلَّ اللّهُ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُ سَبِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |فما - So what| لكم - (is the matter) with you| في - concerning| المنافقين - the hypocrites (that)| فئتين - (you have become) two parties?| والله - While Allah| أركسهم - cast them back| بما - for what| كسبوا - they earned.| أتريدون - Do you wish| أن - that| تهدوا - you guide| من - whom| أضل - is let astray| الله - (by) Allah?| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - is let astray| الله - (by) Allah,| فلن - then never| تجد - will you find| له - for him| سبيلا - a way.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:138] | Bashshiri almunafiqeena bi-annalahum AAathaban aleeman | بشر المنافقين بأن لهم عذابا أليما بَشِّرِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ بِأَنَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا | |||||

| 4 [4:140] | Waqad nazzala AAalaykum fee alkitabian itha samiAAtum ayati Allahiyukfaru biha wayustahzao biha fala taqAAudoomaAAahum hatta yakhoodoo fee hadeethinghayrihi innakum ithan mithluhum inna Allaha jamiAAualmunafiqeena waalkafireena fee jahannamajameeAAan | وقد نزل عليكم في الكتاب أن إذا سمعتم آيات الله يكفر بها ويستهزأ بها فلا تقعدوا معهم حتى يخوضوا في حديث غيره إنكم إذا مثلهم إن الله جامع المنافقين والكافرين في جهنم جميعا وَقَدْ نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ أَنْ إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللّهِ يُكْفَرُ بِهَا وَيُسْتَهْزَأُ بِهَا فَلاَ تَقْعُدُواْ مَعَهُمْ حَتَّى يَخُوضُواْ فِي حَدِيثٍ غَيْرِهِ إِنَّكُمْ إِذًا مِّثْلُهُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ جَامِعُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْكَافِرِينَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ جَمِيعًا | |||||
| Words | |وقد - And surely| نزل - He has revealed| عليكم - to you| في - in| الكتاب - the Book| أن - that| إذا - when| سمعتم - you hear| آيات - (the) Verses| الله - (of) Allah| يكفر - being rejected| بها - [it]| ويستهزأ - and ridiculed| بها - at [it],| فلا - then do not| تقعدوا - sit| معهم - with them| حتى - until| يخوضوا - they engage| في - in| حديث - a conversation| غيره - other than that.| إنكم - Indeed, you| إذا - then,| مثلهم - (would be) like them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| جامع - will gather| المنافقين - the hypocrites| والكافرين - and the disbelievers| في - in| جهنم - Hell| جميعا - all together.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:142] | Inna almunafiqeena yukhadiAAoonaAllaha wahuwa khadiAAuhum wa-itha qamooila alssalati qamoo kusalayuraoona alnnasa wala yathkuroonaAllaha illa qaleelan | إن المنافقين يخادعون الله وهو خادعهم وإذا قاموا إلى الصلاة قاموا كسالى يراءون الناس ولا يذكرون الله إلا قليلا إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يُخَادِعُونَ اللّهَ وَهُوَ خَادِعُهُمْ وَإِذَا قَامُواْ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ قَامُواْ كُسَالَى يُرَآؤُونَ النَّاسَ وَلاَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللّهَ إِلاَّ قَلِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| المنافقين - the hypocrites| يخادعون - (seek to) deceive| الله - Allah| وهو - and (it is) He| خادعهم - who deceives them.| وإذا - And when| قاموا - they stand| إلى - for| الصلاة - the prayer,| قاموا - they stand| كسالى - lazily,| يراءون - showing off| الناس - (to) the people| ولا - and not| يذكرون - they remember| الله - Allah| إلا - except| قليلا - a little.| | ||||||
| 6 [4:145] | Inna almunafiqeena fee alddarkial-asfali mina alnnari walan tajida lahum naseeran | إن المنافقين في الدرك الأسفل من النار ولن تجد لهم نصيرا إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ فِي الدَّرْكِ الْأَسْفَلِ مِنَ النَّارِ وَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُمْ نَصِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |إن - Indeed,| المنافقين - the hypocrites| في - (will be) in| الدرك - the depths,| الأسفل - the lowest,| من - of| النار - the Fire,| ولن - and never| تجد - you will find| لهم - for them| نصيرا - any helper| | ||||||
| 7 [9:67] | Almunafiqoona waalmunafiqatubaAAduhum min baAAdin ya/muroona bialmunkariwayanhawna AAani almaAAroofi wayaqbidoona aydiyahum nasooAllaha fanasiyahum inna almunafiqeena humu alfasiqoona | المنافقون والمنافقات بعضهم من بعض يأمرون بالمنكر وينهون عن المعروف ويقبضون أيديهم نسوا الله فنسيهم إن المنافقين هم الفاسقون الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتُ بَعْضُهُم مِّن بَعْضٍ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمُنكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَقْبِضُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ نَسُواْ اللّهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |المنافقون - The hypocrite men| والمنافقات - and the hypocrite women,| بعضهم - some of them| من - (are) of| بعض - others.| يأمرون - They enjoin| بالمنكر - the wrong| وينهون - and forbid| عن - what| المعروف - (is) the right,| ويقبضون - and they close| أيديهم - their hands.| نسوا - They forget| الله - Allah,| فنسيهم - so He has forgotten them.| إن - Indeed,| المنافقين - the hypocrites,| هم - they (are)| الفاسقون - the defiantly disobedient.| | ||||||
| 8 [9:68] | WaAAada Allahu almunafiqeenawaalmunafiqati waalkuffara narajahannama khalideena feeha hiya hasbuhumwalaAAanahumu Allahu walahum AAathabun muqeemun | وعد الله المنافقين والمنافقات والكفار نار جهنم خالدين فيها هي حسبهم ولعنهم الله ولهم عذاب مقيم وَعَدَ الله الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْكُفَّارَ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا هِيَ حَسْبُهُمْ وَلَعَنَهُمُ اللّهُ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّقِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وعد - Allah has promised| الله - Allah has promised| المنافقين - the hypocrite men,| والمنافقات - and the hypocrite women| والكفار - and the disbelievers,| نار - Fire| جهنم - (of) Hell,| خالدين - they (will) abide forever| فيها - in it.| هي - It (is)| حسبهم - sufficient for them.| ولعنهم - And Allah has cursed them,| الله - And Allah has cursed them,| ولهم - and for them| عذاب - (is) a punishment| مقيم - enduring.| | ||||||
| 9 [29:11] | WalayaAAlamanna Allahu allatheenaamanoo walayaAAlamanna almunafiqeena | وليعلمن الله الذين آمنوا وليعلمن المنافقين وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وليعلمن - And Allah will surely make evident| الله - And Allah will surely make evident| الذين - those who| آمنوا - believe,| وليعلمن - And He will surely make evident| المنافقين - the hypocrites.| | ||||||
| 10 [33:24] | Liyajziya Allahu alssadiqeenabisidqihim wayuAAaththiba almunafiqeena inshaa aw yatooba AAalayhim inna Allaha kanaghafooran raheeman | ليجزي الله الصادقين بصدقهم ويعذب المنافقين إن شاء أو يتوب عليهم إن الله كان غفورا رحيما لِّيَجْزِيَ اللَّهُ الصَّادِقِينَ بِصِدْقِهِمْ وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ إِن شَاءَ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ليجزي - That Allah may reward| الله - That Allah may reward| الصادقين - the truthful| بصدقهم - for their truth| ويعذب - and punish| المنافقين - the hypocrites| إن - if| شاء - He wills| أو - or| يتوب - turn in mercy| عليهم - to them.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 11 [33:73] | LiyuAAaththiba Allahu almunafiqeenawaalmunafiqati waalmushrikeena waalmushrikatiwayatooba Allahu AAala almu/mineena waalmu/minatiwakana Allahu ghafooran raheeman | ليعذب الله المنافقين والمنافقات والمشركين والمشركات ويتوب الله على المؤمنين والمؤمنات وكان الله غفورا رحيما لِّيُعَذِّبَ اللَّهُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ وَيَتُوبَ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |ليعذب - So that Allah may punish| الله - So that Allah may punish| المنافقين - the hypocrite men| والمنافقات - and the hypocrite women| والمشركين - and the polytheist men| والمشركات - and the polytheist women| ويتوب - and Allah will turn (in Mercy)| الله - and Allah will turn (in Mercy)| على - to| المؤمنين - the believing men| والمؤمنات - and the believing women.| وكان - And Allah is| الله - And Allah is| غفورا - Oft-Forgiving,| رحيما - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 12 [48:6] | WayuAAaththiba almunafiqeena waalmunafiqatiwaalmushrikeena waalmushrikati alththanneenabiAllahi thanna alssaw-iAAalayhim da-iratu alssaw-i waghadiba AllahuAAalayhim walaAAanahum waaAAadda lahum jahannama wasaat maseeran | ويعذب المنافقين والمنافقات والمشركين والمشركات الظانين بالله ظن السوء عليهم دائرة السوء وغضب الله عليهم ولعنهم وأعد لهم جهنم وساءت مصيرا وَيُعَذِّبَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَالْمُنَافِقَاتِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ وَالْمُشْرِكَاتِ الظَّانِّينَ بِاللَّهِ ظَنَّ السَّوْءِ عَلَيْهِمْ دَائِرَةُ السَّوْءِ وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَنَهُمْ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمْ جَهَنَّمَ وَسَاءَتْ مَصِيْرًا | |||||
| Words | |ويعذب - And He (may) punish| المنافقين - the hypocrite men| والمنافقات - and the hypocrite women| والمشركين - and the polytheist men| والمشركات - and the polytheist women,| الظانين - who assume| بالله - about Allah| ظن - an assumption| السوء - evil.| عليهم - Upon them| دائرة - (is) a turn| السوء - (of) evil,| وغضب - and Allah's wrath (is)| الله - and Allah's wrath (is)| عليهم - upon them| ولعنهم - and He has cursed them| وأعد - and prepared| لهم - for them| جهنم - Hell,| وساءت - and evil| مصيرا - (is the) destination.| | ||||||
| 13 [63:1] | Itha jaaka almunafiqoonaqaloo nashhadu innaka larasoolu Allahi waAllahuyaAAlamu innaka larasooluhu waAllahu yashhadu innaalmunafiqeena lakathiboona | إذا جاءك المنافقون قالوا نشهد إنك لرسول الله والله يعلم إنك لرسوله والله يشهد إن المنافقين لكاذبون إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُنَافِقُونَ قَالُوا نَشْهَدُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ إِنَّكَ لَرَسُولُهُ وَاللَّهُ يَشْهَدُ إِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَكَاذِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إذا - When| جاءك - come to you| المنافقون - the hypocrites,| قالوا - they say,| نشهد - "We testify| إنك - that you| لرسول - (are) surely (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah."| والله - And Allah| يعلم - knows| إنك - that you| لرسوله - (are) surely His Messenger,| والله - and Allah| يشهد - testifies| إن - that| المنافقين - the hypocrites| لكاذبون - (are) surely liars.| | ||||||
| 14 [63:7] | Humu allatheena yaqooloona latunfiqoo AAala man AAinda rasooli Allahi hattayanfaddoo walillahi khaza-inu alssamawatiwaal-ardi walakinna almunafiqeena layafqahoona | هم الذين يقولون لا تنفقوا على من عند رسول الله حتى ينفضوا ولله خزائن السماوات والأرض ولكن المنافقين لا يفقهون هُمُ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ لَا تُنفِقُوا عَلَى مَنْ عِندَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يَنفَضُّوا وَلِلَّهِ خَزَائِنُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |هم - They| الذين - (are) those who| يقولون - say,| لا - "(Do) not| تنفقوا - spend| على - on| من - (those) who| عند - (are) with| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah| حتى - until| ينفضوا - they disband."| ولله - And for Allah| خزائن - (are the) treasures| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth,| ولكن - but| المنافقين - the hypocrites| لا - (do) not| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
| 15 [63:8] | Yaqooloona la-in rajaAAna ilaalmadeenati layukhrijanna al-aAAazzu minha al-athallawalillahi alAAizzatu walirasoolihi walilmu/mineena walakinnaalmunafiqeena la yaAAlamoona | يقولون لئن رجعنا إلى المدينة ليخرجن الأعز منها الأذل ولله العزة ولرسوله وللمؤمنين ولكن المنافقين لا يعلمون يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ الْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا الْأَذَلَّ وَلِلَّهِ الْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَكِنَّ الْمُنَافِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يقولون - They say,| لئن - "If| رجعنا - we return| إلى - to| المدينة - Al-Madinah,| ليخرجن - surely, will expel| الأعز - the more honorable| منها - from it| الأذل - the more humble."| ولله - But for Allah| العزة - (is) the honor| ولرسوله - and for His Messenger| وللمؤمنين - and for the believers,| ولكن - but| المنافقين - the hypocrites| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
