| 1 [2:50] | Wa-ith faraqna bikumu albahrafaanjaynakum waaghraqna ala firAAawnawaantum tanthuroona |  وإذ فرقنا بكم البحر فأنجيناكم وأغرقنا آل فرعون وأنتم تنظرونوَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَأَنجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ تَنظُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذ - And when| فرقنا - We parted| بكم - for you| البحر - the sea,| فأنجيناكم - then We saved you,| وأغرقنا - and We drowned| آل - (the) people| فرعون - (of) Firaun| وأنتم - while you| تنظرون - (were) looking.| | ||||||
| 2 [2:164] | Inna fee khalqi alssamawatiwaal-ardi waikhtilafi allayli waalnnahariwaalfulki allatee tajree fee albahri bimayanfaAAu alnnasa wama anzala Allahumina alssama-i min ma-in faahyabihi al-arda baAAda mawtiha wabaththa feehamin kulli dabbatin watasreefi alrriyahiwaalssahabi almusakhkhari bayna alssama-iwaal-ardi laayatin liqawminyaAAqiloona | إن في خلق السماوات والأرض واختلاف الليل والنهار والفلك التي تجري في البحر بما ينفع الناس وما أنزل الله من السماء من ماء فأحيا به الأرض بعد موتها وبث فيها من كل دابة وتصريف الرياح والسحاب المسخر بين السماء والأرض لآيات لقوم يعقلون إِنَّ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَاخْتِلاَفِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَالْفُلْكِ الَّتِي تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِمَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ وَمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مِن مَّاءٍ فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ وَتَصْرِيفِ الرِّيَاحِ وَالسَّحَابِ الْمُسَخِّرِ بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالأَرْضِ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||

| 3 [5:96] | Ohilla lakum saydu albahriwataAAamuhu mataAAan lakum walilssayyaratiwahurrima AAalaykum saydu albarri ma dumtum hurumanwaittaqoo Allaha allathee ilayhi tuhsharoona | أحل لكم صيد البحر وطعامه متاعا لكم وللسيارة وحرم عليكم صيد البر ما دمتم حرما واتقوا الله الذي إليه تحشرون أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِيَ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أحل - Is made lawful| لكم - for you| صيد - game| البحر - (of) the sea| وطعامه - and its food| متاعا - (as) provision| لكم - for you| وللسيارة - and for the travelers,| وحرم - and is made unlawful| عليكم - on you| صيد - game| البر - (of) the land| ما - as| دمتم - long as you| حرما - (are in) Ihram,| واتقوا - And be conscious| الله - (of) Allah| الذي - the One| إليه - to Him| تحشرون - you will be gathered.| | ||||||
| 4 [7:138] | Wajawazna bibanee isra-eelaalbahra faataw AAala qawmin yaAAkufoona AAalaasnamin lahum qaloo ya moosaijAAal lana ilahan kama lahum alihatunqala innakum qawmun tajhaloona | وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتوا على قوم يعكفون على أصنام لهم قالوا يا موسى اجعل لنا إلها كما لهم آلهة قال إنكم قوم تجهلون وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتَوْاْ عَلَى قَوْمٍ يَعْكُفُونَ عَلَى أَصْنَامٍ لَّهُمْ قَالُواْ يَا مُوسَى اجْعَل لَّنَا إِلَـهًا كَمَا لَهُمْ آلِهَةٌ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ قَوْمٌ تَجْهَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجاوزنا - And We led across| ببني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| البحر - the sea.| فأتوا - Then they came| على - upon| قوم - a people| يعكفون - devoted| على - to| أصنام - idols| لهم - of theirs.| قالوا - They said,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| اجعل - Make| لنا - for us| إلها - a god| كما - like what| لهم - they have| آلهة - gods.| قال - He said,| إنكم - "Indeed, you| قوم - (are) a people| تجهلون - ignorant.| | ||||||
| 5 [7:163] | Wais-alhum AAani alqaryati allatee kanathadirata albahri ith yaAAdoona fee alssabtiith ta/teehim heetanuhum yawma sabtihimshurraAAan wayawma la yasbitoona la ta/teehim kathalikanabloohum bima kanoo yafsuqoona | واسألهم عن القرية التي كانت حاضرة البحر إذ يعدون في السبت إذ تأتيهم حيتانهم يوم سبتهم شرعا ويوم لا يسبتون لا تأتيهم كذلك نبلوهم بما كانوا يفسقون وسْأَلْهُمْ عَنِ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ حَاضِرَةَ الْبَحْرِ إِذْ يَعْدُونَ فِي السَّبْتِ إِذْ تَأْتِيهِمْ حِيتَانُهُمْ يَوْمَ سَبْتِهِمْ شُرَّعاً وَيَوْمَ لاَ يَسْبِتُونَ لاَ تَأْتِيهِمْ كَذَلِكَ نَبْلُوهُم بِمَا كَانُوا يَفْسُقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واسألهم - And ask them| عن - about| القرية - the town| التي - which| كانت - was| حاضرة - situated| البحر - (by) the sea,| إذ - when| يعدون - they transgressed| في - in| السبت - the (matter of) Sabbath,| إذ - when| تأتيهم - came to them| حيتانهم - their fish| يوم - (on the) day| سبتهم - (of) their Sabbath| شرعا - visibly| ويوم - and (on the) day| لا - not| يسبتون - they had Sabbath| لا - (they did) not| تأتيهم - come to them.| كذلك - Thus| نبلوهم - We test them| بما - because| كانوا - they were| يفسقون - defiantly disobeying.| | ||||||
| 6 [10:90] | Wajawazna bibanee isra-eelaalbahra faatbaAAahum firAAawnu wajunooduhu baghyanwaAAadwan hatta itha adrakahu algharaqu qalaamantu annahu la ilaha illa allatheeamanat bihi banoo isra-eela waana minaalmuslimeena | وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتبعهم فرعون وجنوده بغيا وعدوا حتى إذا أدركه الغرق قال آمنت أنه لا إله إلا الذي آمنت به بنو إسرائيل وأنا من المسلمين وَجَاوَزْنَا بِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ الْبَحْرَ فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ وَجُنُودُهُ بَغْيًا وَعَدْوًا حَتَّى إِذَا أَدْرَكَهُ الْغَرَقُ قَالَ آمَنتُ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلِـهَ إِلاَّ الَّذِي آمَنَتْ بِهِ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ وَأَنَاْ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وجاوزنا - And We took across| ببني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel -| البحر - the sea,| فأتبعهم - and followed them| فرعون - Firaun| وجنوده - and his hosts| بغيا - (in) rebellion| وعدوا - and enmity,| حتى - until| إذا - when| أدركه - overtook him| الغرق - the drowning,| قال - he said,| آمنت - "I believe| أنه - that| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - except| الذي - the One,| آمنت - in Whom believe| به - in Whom believe| بنو - the Children of Israel,| إسرائيل - the Children of Israel,| وأنا - and I am| من - of| المسلمين - the Muslims."| | ||||||
| 7 [14:32] | Allahu allathee khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda waanzala mina alssama-i maanfaakhraja bihi mina alththamarati rizqan lakumwasakhkhara lakumu alfulka litajriya fee albahri bi-amrihiwasakhkhara lakumu al-anhara | الله الذي خلق السماوات والأرض وأنزل من السماء ماء فأخرج به من الثمرات رزقا لكم وسخر لكم الفلك لتجري في البحر بأمره وسخر لكم الأنهار اللّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَخْرَجَ بِهِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ رِزْقًا لَّكُمْ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ لِتَجْرِيَ فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ الْأَنْهَارَ | |||||

| 8 [16:14] | Wahuwa allathee sakhkhara albahralita/kuloo minhu lahman tariyyan watastakhrijoominhu hilyatan talbasoonaha watara alfulkamawakhira feehi walitabtaghoo min fadlihiwalaAAallakum tashkuroona | وهو الذي سخر البحر لتأكلوا منه لحما طريا وتستخرجوا منه حلية تلبسونها وترى الفلك مواخر فيه ولتبتغوا من فضله ولعلكم تشكرون وَهُوَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ الْبَحْرَ لِتَأْكُلُواْ مِنْهُ لَحْمًا طَرِيًّا وَتَسْتَخْرِجُواْ مِنْهُ حِلْيَةً تَلْبَسُونَهَا وَتَرَى الْفُلْكَ مَوَاخِرَ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الذي - (is) the One Who| سخر - subjected| البحر - the sea| لتأكلوا - for you to eat| منه - from it| لحما - meat| طريا - fresh| وتستخرجوا - and that you bring forth| منه - from it,| حلية - ornaments| تلبسونها - (that) you wear them.| وترى - And you see| الفلك - the ships| مواخر - ploughing| فيه - through it,| ولتبتغوا - and that you may seek| من - of| فضله - His Bounty,| ولعلكم - and that you may| تشكرون - (be) grateful.| | ||||||
| 9 [17:66] | Rabbukumu allathee yuzjee lakumualfulka fee albahri litabtaghoo min fadlihi innahukana bikum raheeman | ربكم الذي يزجي لكم الفلك في البحر لتبتغوا من فضله إنه كان بكم رحيما رَّبُّكُمُ الَّذِي يُزْجِي لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ فِي الْبَحْرِ لِتَبْتَغُواْ مِن فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا | |||||

| 10 [17:67] | Wa-itha massakumu alddurrufee albahri dalla man tadAAoona illa iyyahufalamma najjakum ila albarri aAAradtumwakana al-insanu kafooran | وإذا مسكم الضر في البحر ضل من تدعون إلا إياه فلما نجاكم إلى البر أعرضتم وكان الإنسان كفورا وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الْضُّرُّ فِي الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَن تَدْعُونَ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ كَفُورًا | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| مسكم - touches you| الضر - the hardship| في - in| البحر - the sea,| ضل - lost| من - (are) who| تدعون - you call| إلا - except| إياه - Him Alone.| فلما - But when| نجاكم - He delivers you| إلى - to| البر - the land| أعرضتم - you turn away.| وكان - And is| الإنسان - man| كفورا - ungrateful.| | ||||||
| 11 [18:61] | Falamma balagha majmaAAabaynihima nasiya hootahuma faittakhathasabeelahu fee albahri saraban | فلما بلغا مجمع بينهما نسيا حوتهما فاتخذ سبيله في البحر سربا فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا مَجْمَعَ بَيْنِهِمَا نَسِيَا حُوتَهُمَا فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ فِي الْبَحْرِ سَرَبًا | |||||
| Words | |فلما - But when| بلغا - they reached| مجمع - the junction| بينهما - between them,| نسيا - they forgot| حوتهما - their fish,| فاتخذ - and it took| سبيله - its way| في - into| البحر - the sea,| سربا - slipping away.| | ||||||
| 12 [18:63] | Qala araayta ith awaynaila alssakhrati fa-innee naseetu alhootawama ansaneehu illa alshshaytanuan athkurahu waittakhatha sabeelahu fee albahriAAajaban | قال أرأيت إذ أوينا إلى الصخرة فإني نسيت الحوت وما أنسانيه إلا الشيطان أن أذكره واتخذ سبيله في البحر عجبا قَالَ أَرَأَيْتَ إِذْ أَوَيْنَا إِلَى الصَّخْرَةِ فَإِنِّي نَسِيتُ الْحُوتَ وَمَا أَنسَانِيهُ إِلاَّ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَهُ وَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ فِي الْبَحْرِ عَجَبًا | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| أرأيت - "Did you see,| إذ - when| أوينا - we retired| إلى - to| الصخرة - the rock?| فإني - Then indeed, I| نسيت - [I] forgot| الحوت - the fish.| وما - And not| أنسانيه - made me forget it| إلا - except| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أن - that| أذكره - I mention it.| واتخذ - And it took| سبيله - its way| في - into| البحر - the sea| عجبا - amazingly."| | ||||||
| 13 [18:79] | Amma alssafeenatu fakanatlimasakeena yaAAmaloona fee albahri faaradtu anaAAeebaha wakana waraahum malikun ya/khuthukulla safeenatin ghasban | أما السفينة فكانت لمساكين يعملون في البحر فأردت أن أعيبها وكان وراءهم ملك يأخذ كل سفينة غصبا أَمَّا السَّفِينَةُ فَكَانَتْ لِمَسَاكِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ فِي الْبَحْرِ فَأَرَدتُّ أَنْ أَعِيبَهَا وَكَانَ وَرَاءَهُم مَّلِكٌ يَأْخُذُ كُلَّ سَفِينَةٍ غَصْبًا | |||||

| 14 [18:109] | Qul law kana albahru midadanlikalimati rabbee lanafida albahru qabla an tanfadakalimatu rabbee walaw ji/na bimithlihi madadan | قل لو كان البحر مدادا لكلمات ربي لنفد البحر قبل أن تنفد كلمات ربي ولو جئنا بمثله مددا قُل لَّوْ كَانَ الْبَحْرُ مِدَادًا لِّكَلِمَاتِ رَبِّي لَنَفِدَ الْبَحْرُ قَبْلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَاتُ رَبِّي وَلَوْ جِئْنَا بِمِثْلِهِ مَدَدًا | |||||

| 15 [20:77] | Walaqad awhayna ilamoosa an asri biAAibadee faidriblahum tareeqan fee albahri yabasan la takhafudarakan wala takhsha | ولقد أوحينا إلى موسى أن أسر بعبادي فاضرب لهم طريقا في البحر يبسا لا تخاف دركا ولا تخشى وَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي فَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقًا فِي الْبَحْرِ يَبَسًا لَّا تَخَافُ دَرَكًا وَلَا تَخْشَى | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أوحينا - We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa| أن - that,| أسر - "Travel by night| بعبادي - with My slaves| فاضرب - and strike| لهم - for them| طريقا - a path| في - in| البحر - the sea| يبسا - dry;| لا - not| تخاف - fearing| دركا - to be overtaken| ولا - and not| تخشى - being afraid."| | ||||||
| 16 [22:65] | Alam tara anna Allaha sakhkhara lakumma fee al-ardi waalfulka tajree fee albahribi-amrihi wayumsiku alssamaa an taqaAAa AAalaal-ardi illa bi-ithnihi inna Allahabialnnasi laraoofun raheemun | ألم تر أن الله سخر لكم ما في الأرض والفلك تجري في البحر بأمره ويمسك السماء أن تقع على الأرض إلا بإذنه إن الله بالناس لرءوف رحيم أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَالْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِأَمْرِهِ وَيُمْسِكُ السَّمَاءَ أَن تَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِالنَّاسِ لَرَؤُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||

| 17 [26:63] | Faawhayna ila moosaani idrib biAAasaka albahra fainfalaqafakana kullu firqin kaalttawdi alAAatheemi | فأوحينا إلى موسى أن اضرب بعصاك البحر فانفلق فكان كل فرق كالطود العظيم فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ | |||||

| 18 [31:31] | Alam tara anna alfulka tajree fee albahribiniAAmati Allahi liyuriyakum min ayatihiinna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarinshakoorin | ألم تر أن الفلك تجري في البحر بنعمت الله ليريكم من آياته إن في ذلك لآيات لكل صبار شكور أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ الْفُلْكَ تَجْرِي فِي الْبَحْرِ بِنِعْمَتِ اللَّهِ لِيُرِيَكُم مِّنْ آيَاتِهِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ | |||||
