1 [26:63] | Faawhayna ila moosaani idrib biAAasaka albahra fainfalaqafakana kullu firqin kaalttawdi alAAatheemi
| فأوحينا إلى موسى أن اضرب بعصاك البحر فانفلق فكان كل فرق كالطود العظيم فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَى مُوسَى أَنِ اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ |
Words | |فأوحينا - Then We inspired| إلى - to| موسى - Musa,| أن - [that]| اضرب - "Strike| بعصاك - with your staff| البحر - the sea."| فانفلق - So it parted| فكان - and became| كل - each| فرق - part| كالطود - like the mountain| العظيم - [the] great.| |

| ወደ ሙሳም «ባሕሩን በበትርህ ምታው» ስንል ላክንበት፡፡ (መታውና) ተከፈለም፡፡ ክፍሉም ሁሉ እንደ ታላቅ ጋራ ኾነ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | قال تعالى: { فأوحينا إلى موسى أن اضرب بعصاك البحر } فضربه { فانفلق } فانشق اثنى عشر فرقا { فكان كل فرق كالطود العظيم } الجبل الضخم بينهما مسالك سلكوها لم يبتل منها سرج الراكب ولا لبده . |
| Nweêêa i Musa: "wwet ill s taâkwazt ik"! Imfaôaq, yal loiha am udrar ameqwôaêan. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অতঃপর আমি মূসাকে আদেশ করলাম, তোমার লাঠি দ্বারা সমূদ্রকে আঘাত কর। ফলে, তা বিদীর্ণ হয়ে গেল এবং প্রত্যেক ভাগ বিশাল পর্বতসদৃশ হয়ে গেল। |
Literal | So We inspired/transmitted to Moses that: "Beat/strike/move with your stick/cane the sea/large body of water ." So it broke in half/split open/cracked, so every/each part/piece was as the huge mountain, the great. |
Yusuf Ali | Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. |
Pickthal | Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. |
Arberry | Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. |
