| 1 [9:18] | Innama yaAAmuru masajida Allahiman amana biAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiriwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata walam yakhsha illa AllahafaAAasa ola-ika an yakoonoo mina almuhtadeena |  إنما يعمر مساجد الله من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة ولم يخش إلا الله فعسى أولئك أن يكونوا من المهتدينإِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ فَعَسَى أُوْلَـئِكَ أَن يَكُونُواْ مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| يعمر - will maintain| مساجد - (the) masajid of Allah| الله - (the) masajid of Allah| من - (the one) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - the Last,| وأقام - and establishes| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتى - and gives| الزكاة - the zakah| ولم - and not| يخش - fear| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| فعسى - Then perhaps| أولئك - those,| أن - [that]| يكونوا - they are| من - of| المهتدين - the guided ones.| | ||||||
| 2 [9:87] | Radoo bi-an yakoonoo maAAa alkhawalifiwatubiAAa AAala quloobihim fahum layafqahoona | رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع على قلوبهم فهم لا يفقهون رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَفْقَهُونَ | |||||
| Words | |رضوا - They (were) satisfied| بأن - to| يكونوا - be| مع - with| الخوالف - those who stay behind,| وطبع - and were sealed| على - [on]| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يفقهون - understand.| | ||||||
| 3 [9:93] | Innama alssabeelu AAalaallatheena yasta/thinoonaka wahum aghniyaoradoo bi-an yakoonoo maAAa alkhawalifi watabaAAaAllahu AAala quloobihim fahum la yaAAlamoona | إنما السبيل على الذين يستأذنونك وهم أغنياء رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع الله على قلوبهم فهم لا يعلمون إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَاءُ رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| السبيل - the way (blame)| على - (is) on| الذين - those who| يستأذنونك - ask your permission| وهم - while they| أغنياء - (are) rich.| رضوا - They (are) satisfied| بأن - to| يكونوا - be| مع - with| الخوالف - those who stay behind,| وطبع - and Allah sealed| الله - and Allah sealed| على - [on]| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 4 [10:99] | Walaw shaa rabbuka laamana manfee al-ardi kulluhum jameeAAan afaanta tukrihu alnnasahatta yakoonoo mu/mineena | ولو شاء ربك لآمن من في الأرض كلهم جميعا أفأنت تكره الناس حتى يكونوا مؤمنين وَلَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّكَ لَآمَنَ مَن فِي الْأَرْضِ كُلُّهُمْ جَمِيعًا أَفَأَنتَ تُكْرِهُ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَكُونُواْ مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| شاء - (had) willed| ربك - your Lord| لآمن - surely, (would) have believed| من - who| في - (are) in| الأرض - the earth| كلهم - all of them| جميعا - together.| أفأنت - Then, will you| تكره - compel| الناس - the mankind| حتى - until| يكونوا - they become| مؤمنين - believers?| | ||||||
| 5 [11:20] | Ola-ika lam yakoonoo muAAjizeena feeal-ardi wama kana lahum min dooni Allahimin awliyaa yudaAAafu lahumu alAAathabu makanoo yastateeAAoona alssamAAa wama kanooyubsiroona | أولئك لم يكونوا معجزين في الأرض وما كان لهم من دون الله من أولياء يضاعف لهم العذاب ما كانوا يستطيعون السمع وما كانوا يبصرون أُولَـئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُواْ مُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ مِنْ أَوْلِيَاءَ يُضَاعَفُ لَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مَا كَانُواْ يَسْتَطِيعُونَ السَّمْعَ وَمَا كَانُواْ يُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| لم - not| يكونوا - will be| معجزين - (able to) escape| في - in| الأرض - the earth| وما - and not| كان - is| لهم - for them| من - besides| دون - besides| الله - Allah| من - any| أولياء - protectors.| يضاعف - And will be doubled| لهم - for them| العذاب - the punishment.| ما - Not| كانوا - they were| يستطيعون - able| السمع - (to) hear| وما - and not| كانوا - they used (to)| يبصرون - see.| | ||||||
| 6 [24:32] | Waankihoo al-ayamaminkum waalssaliheena min AAibadikumwa-ima-ikum in yakoonoo fuqaraa yughnihimu Allahumin fadlihi waAllahu wasiAAun AAaleemun | وأنكحوا الأيامى منكم والصالحين من عبادكم وإمائكم إن يكونوا فقراء يغنهم الله من فضله والله واسع عليم وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَى مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ إِن يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |وأنكحوا - And marry| الأيامى - the single| منكم - among you| والصالحين - and the righteous| من - among| عبادكم - your male slaves,| وإمائكم - and your female slaves.| إن - If| يكونوا - they are| فقراء - poor,| يغنهم - Allah will enrich them| الله - Allah will enrich them| من - from| فضله - His Bounty.| والله - And Allah| واسع - (is) All-Encompassing,| عليم - All-Knowing.| | ||||||
| 7 [25:40] | Walaqad ataw AAala alqaryati allateeomtirat matara alssaw-i afalam yakoonooyarawnaha bal kanoo la yarjoona nushooran | ولقد أتوا على القرية التي أمطرت مطر السوء أفلم يكونوا يرونها بل كانوا لا يرجون نشورا وَلَقَدْ أَتَوْا عَلَى الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِي أُمْطِرَتْ مَطَرَ السَّوْءِ أَفَلَمْ يَكُونُوا يَرَوْنَهَا بَلْ كَانُوا لَا يَرْجُونَ نُشُورًا | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| أتوا - they have come| على - upon| القرية - the town| التي - which| أمطرت - was showered| مطر - (with) a rain| السوء - (of) evil.| أفلم - Then do not| يكونوا - they [were]| يرونها - see it?| بل - Nay,| كانوا - they are| لا - not| يرجون - expecting| نشورا - Resurrection.| | ||||||
| 8 [26:3] | LaAAallaka bakhiAAun nafsaka allayakoonoo mu/mineena | لعلك باخع نفسك ألا يكونوا مؤمنين لَعَلَّكَ بَاخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ أَلَّا يَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |لعلك - Perhaps you| باخع - (would) kill| نفسك - yourself| ألا - that not| يكونوا - they become| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 9 [39:47] | Walaw anna lillatheena thalamooma fee al-ardi jameeAAan wamithlahu maAAahu laiftadawbihi min soo-i alAAathabi yawma alqiyamati wabadalahum mina Allahi ma lam yakoonoo yahtasiboona | ولو أن للذين ظلموا ما في الأرض جميعا ومثله معه لافتدوا به من سوء العذاب يوم القيامة وبدا لهم من الله ما لم يكونوا يحتسبون وَلَوْ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ مِن سُوءِ الْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَحْتَسِبُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أن - And if| للذين - those who| ظلموا - did wrong| ما - (had) whatever| في - (is) in| الأرض - the earth| جميعا - all| ومثله - and (the) like of it| معه - with it,| لافتدوا - they would ransom| به - with it| من - from| سوء - (the) evil| العذاب - (of) the punishment| يوم - (on the) Day| القيامة - (of) the Resurrection.| وبدا - And (will) appear| لهم - to them| من - from| الله - Allah| ما - what| لم - not| يكونوا - they had| يحتسبون - taken into account.| | ||||||
| 10 [47:38] | Ha antum haola-itudAAawna litunfiqoo fee sabeeli Allahi faminkum manyabkhalu waman yabkhal fa-innama yabkhalu AAan nafsihi waAllahualghaniyyu waantumu alfuqarao wa-in tatawallaw yastabdilqawman ghayrakum thumma la yakoonoo amthalakum | ها أنتم هؤلاء تدعون لتنفقوا في سبيل الله فمنكم من يبخل ومن يبخل فإنما يبخل عن نفسه والله الغني وأنتم الفقراء وإن تتولوا يستبدل قوما غيركم ثم لا يكونوا أمثالكم هَاأَنتُمْ هَؤُلَاءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِ وَاللَّهُ الْغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ الْفُقَرَاءُ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوا أَمْثَالَكُمْ | |||||
| Words | |ها - Here| أنتم - You are| هؤلاء - these,| تدعون - called| لتنفقوا - to spend| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah -| فمنكم - but among you| من - (are some) who| يبخل - withhold,| ومن - and whoever| يبخل - withholds,| فإنما - then only| يبخل - he withholds| عن - from| نفسه - himself.| والله - But Allah| الغني - (is) Free of need,| وأنتم - while you| الفقراء - (are) the needy.| وإن - And if| تتولوا - you turn away| يستبدل - He will replace you| قوما - (with) a people| غيركم - other than you,| ثم - then| لا - not| يكونوا - they will be| أمثالكم - (the) likes of you.| | ||||||
| 11 [49:11] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoola yaskhar qawmun min qawmin AAasa an yakoonookhayran minhum wala nisaon min nisa-in AAasaan yakunna khayran minhunna wala talmizoo anfusakum walatanabazoo bial-alqabi bi/sa al-ismualfusooqu baAAda al-eemani waman lam yatub faola-ikahumu alththalimoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا لا يسخر قوم من قوم عسى أن يكونوا خيرا منهم ولا نساء من نساء عسى أن يكن خيرا منهن ولا تلمزوا أنفسكم ولا تنابزوا بالألقاب بئس الاسم الفسوق بعد الإيمان ومن لم يتب فأولئك هم الظالمون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَومٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَى أَن يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِّن نِّسَاءٍ عَسَى أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ بِئْسَ الاِسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيْمَانِ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| لا - (Let) not| يسخر - ridicule| قوم - a people| من - [of]| قوم - (another) people,| عسى - perhaps| أن - that| يكونوا - they may be| خيرا - better| منهم - than them;| ولا - and (let) not| نساء - women| من - [of]| نساء - (other) women| عسى - perhaps| أن - that| يكن - they may be| خيرا - better| منهن - than them.| ولا - And (do) not| تلمزوا - insult| أنفسكم - yourselves| ولا - and (do) not| تنابزوا - call each other| بالألقاب - by nicknames.| بئس - Wretched is| الاسم - the name| الفسوق - (of) disobedience| بعد - after| الإيمان - the faith.| ومن - And whoever| لم - (does) not| يتب - repent,| فأولئك - then those -| هم - they| الظالمون - (are) the wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 12 [57:16] | Alam ya/ni lillatheena amanooan takhshaAAa quloobuhum lithikri Allahi wamanazala mina alhaqqi wala yakoonoo kaallatheenaootoo alkitaba min qablu fatala AAalayhimu al-amadufaqasat quloobuhum wakatheerun minhum fasiqoona | ألم يأن للذين آمنوا أن تخشع قلوبهم لذكر الله وما نزل من الحق ولا يكونوا كالذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبل فطال عليهم الأمد فقست قلوبهم وكثير منهم فاسقون أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ الْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ | |||||

| 13 [60:2] | In yathqafookum yakoonoo lakam aAAdaanwayabsutoo ilaykum aydiyahum waalsinatahum bialssoo-iwawaddoo law takfuroona | إن يثقفوكم يكونوا لكم أعداء ويبسطوا إليكم أيديهم وألسنتهم بالسوء وودوا لو تكفرون إِن يَثْقَفُوكُمْ يَكُونُوا لَكُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَيَبْسُطُوا إِلَيْكُمْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَلْسِنَتَهُم بِالسُّوءِ وَوَدُّوا لَوْ تَكْفُرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إن - If| يثقفوكم - they gain dominance over you,| يكونوا - they would be| لكم - to you| أعداء - enemies| ويبسطوا - and extend| إليكم - against you| أيديهم - their hands| وألسنتهم - and their tongues| بالسوء - with evil,| وودوا - and they desire| لو - that| تكفرون - you would disbelieve.| | ||||||
