بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [9:93] | Innama alssabeelu AAalaallatheena yasta/thinoonaka wahum aghniyaoradoo bi-an yakoonoo maAAa alkhawalifi watabaAAaAllahu AAala quloobihim fahum la yaAAlamoona
| إنما السبيل على الذين يستأذنونك وهم أغنياء رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع الله على قلوبهم فهم لا يعلمون إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَاءُ رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ |
Words | |إنما - Only| السبيل - the way (blame)| على - (is) on| الذين - those who| يستأذنونك - ask your permission| وهم - while they| أغنياء - (are) rich.| رضوا - They (are) satisfied| بأن - to| يكونوا - be| مع - with| الخوالف - those who stay behind,| وطبع - and Allah sealed| الله - and Allah sealed| على - [on]| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| |

| (የወቀሳ) መንገዱ በእነዚያ እነሱ ባለጸጋዎች ኾነው ሳሉ ለመቅረት ፈቃድ በሚጠይቁህ ሰዎች ላይ ብቻ ነው፡፡ ከቀሪዎቹ ጋር መኾናቸውን ወደዱ፡፡ አላህም በልቦቻቸው ላይ አተመባቸው፤ ስለዚህ እነሱ አያውቁም፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { إنما السَّبيل على الذين يستأذنوك } في التخلُّف { وهم أغنياء رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع الله على قلوبهم فهم لا يعلمون } تقدم مثله . |
| Tuzzma kan $ef wid ik issuturen tsriê, nitni d imeôkantiyen. Öuvan ad ilin akked ineggura. Isle$ Öebbi ulawen nnsen, d$a ur ssinen. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | অভিযোগের পথ তো তাদের ব্যাপারে রয়েছে, যারা তোমার নিকট অব্যাহতি কামনা করে অথচ তারা সম্পদশালী। যারা পেছনে পড়ে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থাকতে পেরে আনন্দিত হয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন তাদের অন্তরসমূহে। বস্তুতঃ তারা জানতেও পারেনি। |
Literal | But the way/path (is) on those who ask for permission/pardon of you and they are rich, they accepted ,with that they be with the remaining behind, and God stamped/sealed on their hearts/minds , so they do not know. |
Yusuf Ali | The ground (of complaint) is against such as claim exemption while they are rich. They prefer to stay with the (women) who remain behind: Allah hath sealed their hearts; so they know not (What they miss). |
Pickthal | The road (of blame) is only against those who ask for leave of thee (to stay at home) when they are rich. They are content to be with the useless. Allah hath sealed their hearts so that they know not. |
Arberry | The way is open only against those who ask leave of thee, being rich; they are well-pleased to be with those behind; God has set a seal on their hearts, so they know not. |
Shakir | The way (to blame) is only against those who ask permission of you though they are rich; they have chosen to be with those who remained behind, and Allah has set a seal upon their hearts so they do not know. |
Sarwar | The blameworthy ones are those who ask for exemption despite their ability and who preferred to stay at home with those who are truly exempt. God has placed a seal on their hearts but they do not know. |
H/K/Saheeh | The cause [for blame] is only upon those who ask permission of you while they are rich. They are satisfied to be with those who stay behind, and Allah has sealed over their hearts, so they do not know. |
Malik | The way (blame) is only against those who begged exemption although they are rich. They preferred to be with those who remained behind. Allah has set a seal upon their hearts; so they do not know what they missed.[93] |
Maulana Ali** | The way (to blame) is only against those who ask permission of thee, though they are rich. They have chosen to be with those who remained behind; and Allah has sealed their hearts, so they know not. |

Hilali/Khan** | The ground (of complaint) is only against those who are rich, and yet ask exemption. They are content to be with (the women) who sit behind (at home) and Allah has sealed up their hearts (from all kinds of goodness and right guidance) so that they know not (what they are losing). |
QXP Shabbir Ahemd** | The way of blame is only against those who ask for your leave when they are rich and able-bodied. They are well pleased to be with those who are obliged to stay behind. They have caused Allah's Law of Requital to seal their hearts without knowing it. |

Abul Ala Maududi | البتہ اعتراض ان لوگوں پر ہے جو مالدار ہیں اور پھر بھی تم سے درخواستیں کرتے ہیں کہ انہیں شرکت جہاد سے معاف رکھا جائے انہوں نے گھر بیٹھنے والیوں میں شامل ہونا پسند کیا اور اللہ نے ان کے دلوں پر ٹھپہ لگا دیا، اس لیے اب یہ کچھ نہیں جانتے (کہ اللہ کے ہاں ان کی روش کا کیا نتیجہ نکلنے والا ہے) |
