| 1 [3:41] | Qala rabbi ijAAal lee ayatan qalaayatuka alla tukallima alnnasa thalathataayyamin illa ramzan waothkur rabbakakatheeran wasabbih bialAAashiyyi waal-ibkari |  قال رب اجعل لي آية قال آيتك ألا تكلم الناس ثلاثة أيام إلا رمزا واذكر ربك كثيرا وسبح بالعشي والإبكارقَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلاَّ تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلاَّ رَمْزًا وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| رب - "My Lord| اجعل - make| لي - for me| آية - a sign."| قال - He said,| آيتك - your sign| ألا - (is) that not| تكلم - you will speak| الناس - (to) the people| ثلاثة - (for) three| أيام - days| إلا - except| رمزا - (with) gestures.| واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| كثيرا - much,| وسبح - and glorify (Him)| بالعشي - in the evening| والإبكار - and (in) the morning."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:205] | Waothkur rabbaka fee nafsikatadarruAAan wakheefatan wadoona aljahri mina alqawli bialghuduwwiwaal-asali wala takun mina alghafileena | واذكر ربك في نفسك تضرعا وخيفة ودون الجهر من القول بالغدو والآصال ولا تكن من الغافلين وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعاً وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ وَلاَ تَكُن مِّنَ الْغَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| في - in| نفسك - yourself| تضرعا - humbly| وخيفة - and (in) fear| ودون - and without| الجهر - the loudness| من - of| القول - [the] words,| بالغدو - in the mornings| والآصال - and (in) the evenings.| ولا - And (do) not| تكن - be| من - among| الغافلين - the heedless.| | ||||||
| 3 [18:24] | Illa an yashaa Allahuwaothkur rabbaka itha naseeta waqul AAasaan yahdiyani rabbee li-aqraba min hatha rashadan | إلا أن يشاء الله واذكر ربك إذا نسيت وقل عسى أن يهدين ربي لأقرب من هذا رشدا إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ إِذَا نَسِيتَ وَقُلْ عَسَى أَن يَهْدِيَنِ رَبِّي لِأَقْرَبَ مِنْ هَذَا رَشَدًا | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except,| أن - "If| يشاء - Allah wills."| الله - Allah wills."| واذكر - And remember| ربك - your Lord| إذا - when| نسيت - you forget| وقل - and say,| عسى - "Perhaps| أن - [that]| يهدين - will guide me| ربي - my Lord| لأقرب - to a nearer (way)| من - than| هذا - this| رشدا - right way."| | ||||||
| 4 [19:16] | Waothkur fee alkitabimaryama ithi intabathat min ahliha makanansharqiyyan | واذكر في الكتاب مريم إذ انتبذت من أهلها مكانا شرقيا وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ مَرْيَمَ إِذِ انتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا مَكَانًا شَرْقِيًّا | |||||

| Words | |اصبر - Be patient| على - over| ما - what| يقولون - they say,| واذكر - and remember| عبدنا - Our slave,| داوود - Dawood,| ذا - the possessor of strength.| الأيد - the possessor of strength.| إنه - Indeed, he (was)| أواب - repeatedly turning.| | ||||||
| 10 [38:41] | Waothkur AAabdanaayyooba ith nada rabbahu annee massaniya alshshaytanubinusbin waAAathabin | واذكر عبدنا أيوب إذ نادى ربه أني مسني الشيطان بنصب وعذاب وَاذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَى رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الشَّيْطَانُ بِنُصْبٍ وَعَذَابٍ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| عبدنا - Our slave| أيوب - Ayyub,| إذ - when| نادى - he called| ربه - his Lord,| أني - "That [I],| مسني - (has) touched me| الشيطان - Shaitaan| بنصب - with distress| وعذاب - and suffering."| | ||||||
| 11 [38:45] | Waothkur AAibadanaibraheema wa-ishaqa wayaAAqooba olee al-aydee waal-absari | واذكر عبادنا إبراهيم وإسحاق ويعقوب أولي الأيدي والأبصار وَاذْكُرْ عِبَادَنَا إبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُوْلِي الْأَيْدِي وَالْأَبْصَارِ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| عبادنا - Our slaves| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| وإسحاق - and Isaac| ويعقوب - and Ayyub,| أولي - possessors| الأيدي - (of) strength| والأبصار - and vision.| | ||||||
| 12 [38:48] | Waothkur ismaAAeelawa-ilyasaAAa watha alkifli wakullun mina al-akhyari | واذكر إسماعيل واليسع وذا الكفل وكل من الأخيار وَاذْكُرْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَالْيَسَعَ وَذَا الْكِفْلِ وَكُلٌّ مِّنْ الْأَخْيَارِ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| إسماعيل - Ishmael| واليسع - and Elisha| وذا - and Dhul-kifl,| الكفل - and Dhul-kifl,| وكل - and all| من - (are) from| الأخيار - the best.| | ||||||
| 13 [46:21] | Waothkur akha AAadinith anthara qawmahu bial-ahqafiwaqad khalati alnnuthuru min bayni yadayhi waminkhalfihi alla taAAbudoo illa Allaha inneeakhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin AAatheemin | واذكر أخا عاد إذ أنذر قومه بالأحقاف وقد خلت النذر من بين يديه ومن خلفه ألا تعبدوا إلا الله إني أخاف عليكم عذاب يوم عظيم وَاذْكُرْ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذْ أَنذَرَ قَوْمَهُ بِالْأَحْقَافِ وَقَدْ خَلَتِ النُّذُرُ مِن بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And mention| أخا - (the) brother| عاد - (of) Aad,| إذ - when| أنذر - he warned| قومه - his people| بالأحقاف - in the Al-Ahqaf -| وقد - and had already passed away| خلت - and had already passed away| النذر - [the] warners| من - before him| بين - before him| يديه - before him| ومن - and after him,| خلفه - and after him,| ألا - "That not| تعبدوا - you worship| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| إني - Indeed, I| أخاف - [I] fear| عليكم - for you| عذاب - a punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| عظيم - Great."| | ||||||
| 14 [73:8] | Waothkuri isma rabbikawatabattal ilayhi tabteelan | واذكر اسم ربك وتبتل إليه تبتيلا وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلًا | |||||
| Words | |واذكر - And remember| اسم - (the) name| ربك - (of) your Lord| وتبتل - and devote yourself| إليه - to Him| تبتيلا - (with) devotion.| | ||||||
| 15 [76:25] | Waothkuri isma rabbikabukratan waaseelan | واذكر اسم ربك بكرة وأصيلا وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا | |||||
