| 1 [2:109] | Wadda katheerun min ahli alkitabilaw yaruddoonakum min baAAdi eemanikum kuffaran hasadanmin AAindi anfusihim min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahumu alhaqqufaoAAfoo waisfahoo hattaya/tiya Allahu bi-amrihi inna Allaha AAalakulli shay-in qadeerun |  ود كثير من أهل الكتاب لو يردونكم من بعد إيمانكم كفارا حسدا من عند أنفسهم من بعد ما تبين لهم الحق فاعفوا واصفحوا حتى يأتي الله بأمره إن الله على كل شيء قديروَدَّ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يَرُدُّونَكُم مِّن بَعْدِ إِيمَانِكُمْ كُفَّاراً حَسَدًا مِّنْ عِندِ أَنفُسِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْحَقُّ فَاعْفُواْ وَاصْفَحُواْ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ اللّهُ بِأَمْرِهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ود - Wish[ed]| كثير - many| من - from| أهل - (the) People| الكتاب - (of) the Book| لو - if| يردونكم - they could turn you back| من - from| بعد - after| إيمانكم - your (having) faith| كفارا - (to) disbelievers,| حسدا - (out of) jealousy| من - from| عند - (of)| أنفسهم - themselves,| من - (even) from| بعد - after| ما - [what]| تبين - became clear| لهم - to them,| الحق - the truth.| فاعفوا - So forgive| واصفحوا - and overlook| حتى - until| يأتي - brings| الله - Allah| بأمره - His Command.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - (is) All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:146] | Wakaayyin min nabiyyin qatalamaAAahu ribbiyyoona katheerun fama wahanoo lima asabahumfee sabeeli Allahi wama daAAufoo wamaistakanoo waAllahu yuhibbu alssabireena | وكأين من نبي قاتل معه ربيون كثير فما وهنوا لما أصابهم في سبيل الله وما ضعفوا وما استكانوا والله يحب الصابرين وَكَأَيِّن مِّن نَّبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُواْ لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُواْ وَمَا اسْتَكَانُواْ وَاللّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكأين - And how many| من - from| نبي - a Prophet| قاتل - fought;| معه - with him| ربيون - (were) religious scholars| كثير - many.| فما - But not| وهنوا - they lost heart| لما - for what| أصابهم - befell them| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| وما - and not| ضعفوا - they weakened| وما - and not| استكانوا - they gave in.| والله - And Allah| يحب - loves| الصابرين - the patient ones.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:114] | La khayra fee katheerin min najwahumilla man amara bisadaqatin aw maAAroofin aw islahinbayna alnnasi waman yafAAal thalika ibtighaamardati Allahi fasawfa nu/teehi ajran AAatheeman | لا خير في كثير من نجواهم إلا من أمر بصدقة أو معروف أو إصلاح بين الناس ومن يفعل ذلك ابتغاء مرضات الله فسوف نؤتيه أجرا عظيما لاَّ خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّن نَّجْوَاهُمْ إِلاَّ مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلاَحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ ابْتِغَاءَ مَرْضَاتِ اللّهِ فَسَوْفَ نُؤْتِيهِ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |لا - (There is) no| خير - good| في - in| كثير - much| من - of| نجواهم - their secret talk| إلا - except| من - (he) who| أمر - orders| بصدقة - charity| أو - or| معروف - kindness| أو - or| إصلاح - conciliation| بين - between| الناس - the people.| ومن - And who| يفعل - does| ذلك - that| ابتغاء - seeking| مرضات - pleasure| الله - (of) Allah| فسوف - then soon| نؤتيه - We will give him| أجرا - a reward| عظيما - great.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:15] | Ya ahla alkitabi qad jaakumrasooluna yubayyinu lakum katheeran mimma kuntumtukhfoona mina alkitabi wayaAAfoo AAan katheerin qad jaakummina Allahi noorun wakitabun mubeenun | يا أهل الكتاب قد جاءكم رسولنا يبين لكم كثيرا مما كنتم تخفون من الكتاب ويعفو عن كثير قد جاءكم من الله نور وكتاب مبين يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولُنَا يُبَيِّنُ لَكُمْ كَثِيرًا مِّمَّا كُنْتُمْ تُخْفُونَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَعْفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٍ قَدْ جَاءَكُم مِّنَ اللّهِ نُورٌ وَكِتَابٌ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أهل - O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| قد - Surely| جاءكم - has come to you| رسولنا - Our Messenger| يبين - making clear| لكم - to you| كثيرا - much| مما - of what| كنتم - you used to| تخفون - conceal| من - of| الكتاب - the Scripture| ويعفو - and overlooking| عن - of| كثير - much.| قد - Surely| جاءكم - has come to you| من - from| الله - Allah| نور - a light| وكتاب - and a Book,| مبين - clear.| | ||||||
| 5 [5:71] | Wahasiboo alla takoonafitnatun faAAamoo wasammoo thumma taba AllahuAAalayhim thumma AAamoo wasammoo katheerun minhum waAllahubaseerun bima yaAAmaloona | وحسبوا ألا تكون فتنة فعموا وصموا ثم تاب الله عليهم ثم عموا وصموا كثير منهم والله بصير بما يعملون وَحَسِبُواْ أَلاَّ تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ ثُمَّ تَابَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُواْ وَصَمُّواْ كَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَاللّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وحسبوا - And they thought| ألا - that not| تكون - will be (for them)| فتنة - a trial,| فعموا - so they became blind| وصموا - and they became deaf.| ثم - Then| تاب - turned| الله - Allah| عليهم - to them,| ثم - then (again)| عموا - they became blind| وصموا - and they became deaf,| كثير - many| منهم - of them.| والله - And Allah| بصير - (is) All-Seer| بما - of what| يعملون - they do.| | ||||||
| 6 [17:70] | Walaqad karramna banee adamawahamalnahum fee albarri waalbahriwarazaqnahum mina alttayyibati wafaddalnahumAAala katheerin mimman khalaqna tafdeelan | ولقد كرمنا بني آدم وحملناهم في البر والبحر ورزقناهم من الطيبات وفضلناهم على كثير ممن خلقنا تفضيلا وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَاهُم مِّنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِّمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly,| كرمنا - We have honored| بني - (the) children of Adam| آدم - (the) children of Adam| وحملناهم - and We carried them| في - on| البر - the land| والبحر - and the sea,| ورزقناهم - and We have provided them| من - of| الطيبات - the good things| وفضلناهم - and We preferred them| على - over| كثير - many| ممن - of those whom| خلقنا - We have created| تفضيلا - (with) preference.| | ||||||
| 7 [27:15] | Walaqad atayna dawoodawasulaymana AAilman waqala alhamdulillahi allathee faddalana AAalakatheerin min AAibadihi almu/mineena | ولقد آتينا داوود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| آتينا - We gave| داوود - Dawood| وسليمان - and Sulaiman| علما - knowledge,| وقالا - and they said,| الحمد - "Praise be| لله - to Allah| الذي - the One Who| فضلنا - has favored us| على - over| كثير - many| من - of| عباده - His servants| المؤمنين - the believers."| | ||||||
| 8 [42:30] | Wama asabakum min museebatinfabima kasabat aydeekum wayaAAfoo AAan katheerin | وما أصابكم من مصيبة فبما كسبت أيديكم ويعفو عن كثير وَمَا أَصَابَكُم مِّن مُّصِيبَةٍ فَبِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَيَعْفُواْ عَن كَثِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And whatever| أصابكم - befalls you| من - of| مصيبة - (the) misfortune,| فبما - (is because) of what| كسبت - have earned| أيديكم - your hands.| ويعفو - But He pardons| عن - [from]| كثير - much.| | ||||||
| 9 [42:34] | Aw yoobiqhunna bima kasaboo wayaAAfuAAan katheerin | أو يوبقهن بما كسبوا ويعف عن كثير أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ | |||||
| Words | |أو - Or| يوبقهن - He could destroy them| بما - for what| كسبوا - they have earned;| ويعف - but He pardons| عن - [from]| كثير - much.| | ||||||
| 10 [49:7] | WaiAAlamoo anna feekum rasoola Allahilaw yuteeAAukum fee katheerin mina al-amri laAAanittum walakinnaAllaha habbaba ilaykumu al-eemanawazayyanahu fee quloobikum wakarraha ilaykumu alkufra waalfusooqawaalAAisyana ola-ika humu alrrashidoona | واعلموا أن فيكم رسول الله لو يطيعكم في كثير من الأمر لعنتم ولكن الله حبب إليكم الإيمان وزينه في قلوبكم وكره إليكم الكفر والفسوق والعصيان أولئك هم الراشدون وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِّنَ الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيْمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ أُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |واعلموا - And know| أن - that| فيكم - among you| رسول - (is the) Messenger of Allah.| الله - (is the) Messenger of Allah.| لو - If| يطيعكم - he were to obey you| في - in| كثير - much| من - of| الأمر - the matter,| لعنتم - surely you would be in difficulty,| ولكن - but| الله - Allah| حبب - has endeared| إليكم - to you| الإيمان - the Faith| وزينه - and has made it pleasing| في - in| قلوبكم - your hearts| وكره - and has made hateful| إليكم - to you| الكفر - disbelief| والفسوق - and defiance| والعصيان - and disobedience.| أولئك - Those| هم - (are) they -| الراشدون - the guided ones.| | ||||||
