| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[27:15] | Walaqad atayna dawoodawasulaymana AAilman waqala alhamdulillahi allathee faddalana AAalakatheerin min AAibadihi almu/mineena
|  ولقد آتينا داوود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| آتينا - We gave| داوود - Dawood| وسليمان - and Sulaiman| علما - knowledge,| وقالا - and they said,| الحمد - "Praise be| لله - to Allah| الذي - the One Who| فضلنا - has favored us| على - over| كثير - many| من - of| عباده - His servants| المؤمنين - the believers."| |

| ለዳውድና ለሱለይማንም ዕውቀትን በእርግጥ ሰጠናቸው፡፡ አሉም፡- «ምስጋና ለአላህ ለእዚያ ከምእምናን ባሮቹ በብዙዎቹ ላይ ላበለጠን ይገባው፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { ولقد آتينا داود وسليمان } ابنه { علما } بالقضاء بين الناس ومنطق الطير وغير ذلك { وقالا } شكراً لله { الحمد لله الذي فضلنا } بالنبوة وتسخير الجنّ والإنس والشياطين { على كثير من عباده المؤمنين } . |
| Ni$ Nefka tamusni i Dawed akked Sliman. Nnan: "ccekôan i Öebbi, i a$ Ismenyafen i waîaû n yimdanen iumnen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি অবশ্যই দাউদ ও সুলায়মানকে জ্ঞান দান করেছিলাম। তাঁরা বলে ছিলেন, আল্লাহর প্রশংসা, যিনি আমাদেরকে তাঁর অনেক মুমিন বান্দার উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছেন। |
| Literal | And We had (E) given David and Soliman knowledge, and they (B) said: "The praise/gratitude (is) to God who preferred/favoured us over many from His slaves/worshippers , the believers." |
| Yusuf Ali | We gave (in the past) knowledge to David and Solomon: And they both said: "Praise be to Allah, Who has favoured us above many of his servants who believe!" |
