| 1 [7:64] | Fakaththaboohu faanjaynahu waallatheenamaAAahu fee alfulki waaghraqna allatheena kaththaboobi-ayatina innahum kanoo qawmanAAameena |  فكذبوه فأنجيناه والذين معه في الفلك وأغرقنا الذين كذبوا بآياتنا إنهم كانوا قوما عمينفَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِنَّهُمْ كَانُواْ قَوْماً عَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فأنجيناه - so We saved him| والذين - and those who| معه - (were) with him| في - in| الفلك - the ship.| وأغرقنا - And We drowned| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Verses.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| قوما - a people| عمين - blind.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:73] | Fakaththaboohu fanajjaynahuwaman maAAahu fee alfulki wajaAAalnahum khala-ifawaaghraqna allatheena kaththaboo bi-ayatinafaonthur kayfa kana AAaqibatualmunthareena | فكذبوه فنجيناه ومن معه في الفلك وجعلناهم خلائف وأغرقنا الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المنذرين فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَنَجَّيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ خَلاَئِفَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِآيَاتِنَا فَانظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنذَرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فنجيناه - so We saved him| ومن - and (those) who| معه - (were) with him| في - in| الفلك - the ship,| وجعلناهم - and We made them| خلائف - successors,| وأغرقنا - and We drowned| الذين - those who| كذبوا - denied| بآياتنا - Our Signs.| فانظر - Then see| كيف - how| كان - was| عاقبة - (the) end| المنذرين - (of) those who were warned.| | ||||||
| 3 [16:113] | Walaqad jaahum rasoolun minhum fakaththaboohufaakhathahumu alAAathabu wahum thalimoona | ولقد جاءهم رسول منهم فكذبوه فأخذهم العذاب وهم ظالمون وَلَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| جاءهم - came to them| رسول - a Messenger| منهم - from among them| فكذبوه - but they denied him;| فأخذهم - so seized them| العذاب - the punishment| وهم - while they| ظالمون - (were) wrongdoers.| | ||||||
| 4 [26:139] | Fakaththaboohu faahlaknahuminna fee thalika laayatan wama kanaaktharuhum mu/mineena | فكذبوه فأهلكناهم إن في ذلك لآية وما كان أكثرهم مؤمنين فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - So they denied him,| فأهلكناهم - then We destroyed them.| إن - Indeed,| في - in| ذلك - that| لآية - surely, is a sign,| وما - but not| كان - are| أكثرهم - most of them| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 5 [26:189] | Fakaththaboohu faakhathahumAAathabu yawmi alththullati innahu kanaAAathaba yawmin AAatheemin | فكذبوه فأخذهم عذاب يوم الظلة إنه كان عذاب يوم عظيم فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمِ الظُّلَّةِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فأخذهم - so seized them| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of the) day| الظلة - (of) the shadow.| إنه - Indeed, it| كان - was| عذاب - (the) punishment| يوم - (of) a Day| عظيم - Great.| | ||||||
| 6 [29:37] | Fakaththaboohu faakhathat-humualrrajfatu faasbahoo fee darihim jathimeena | فكذبوه فأخذتهم الرجفة فأصبحوا في دارهم جاثمين فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فأخذتهم - so seized them| الرجفة - the earthquake,| فأصبحوا - and they became| في - in| دارهم - their home| جاثمين - fallen prone.| | ||||||
| 7 [37:127] | Fakaththaboohu fa-innahum lamuhdaroona | فكذبوه فإنهم لمحضرون فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَمُحْضَرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فإنهم - so indeed, they| لمحضرون - (will) surely be brought,| | ||||||
| 8 [91:14] | Fakaththaboohu faAAaqaroohafadamdama AAalayhim rabbuhum bithanbihim fasawwaha | فكذبوه فعقروها فدمدم عليهم ربهم بذنبهم فسواها فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا | |||||
| Words | |فكذبوه - But they denied him,| فعقروها - and they hamstrung her.| فدمدم - So destroyed| عليهم - them| ربهم - their Lord| بذنبهم - for their sin| فسواها - and leveled them.| | ||||||
