| 1 [7:137] | Waawrathna alqawma allatheenakanoo yustadAAafoona mashariqa al-ardiwamagharibaha allatee barakna feehawatammat kalimatu rabbika alhusna AAalabanee isra-eela bima sabaroo wadammarnama kana yasnaAAu firAAawnu waqawmuhu wamakanoo yaAArishoona |  وأورثنا القوم الذين كانوا يستضعفون مشارق الأرض ومغاربها التي باركنا فيها وتمت كلمت ربك الحسنى على بني إسرائيل بما صبروا ودمرنا ما كان يصنع فرعون وقومه وما كانوا يعرشونوَأَوْرَثْنَا الْقَوْمَ الَّذِينَ كَانُواْ يُسْتَضْعَفُونَ مَشَارِقَ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبَهَا الَّتِي بَارَكْنَا فِيهَا وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ الْحُسْنَى عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ بِمَا صَبَرُواْ وَدَمَّرْنَا مَا كَانَ يَصْنَعُ فِرْعَوْنُ وَقَوْمُهُ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعْرِشُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأورثنا - And We made inheritors| القوم - the people| الذين - those who| كانوا - were| يستضعفون - considered weak -| مشارق - (the) eastern (parts)| الأرض - (of) the land| ومغاربها - and the western (parts) of it,| التي - which| باركنا - We blessed| فيها - [in it].| وتمت - And was fulfilled| كلمت - (the) word| ربك - (of) your Lord -| الحسنى - the best| على - for| بني - (the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| بما - because| صبروا - they were patient.| ودمرنا - And We destroyed| ما - what| كان - used to| يصنع - make| فرعون - Firaun| وقومه - and his people,| وما - and what| كانوا - they used to| يعرشون - erect.| | ||||||
| 2 [11:11] | Illa allatheena sabaroowaAAamiloo alssalihati ola-ika lahummaghfiratun waajrun kabeerun | إلا الذين صبروا وعملوا الصالحات أولئك لهم مغفرة وأجر كبير إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ الصَّالِحَاتِ أُوْلَـئِكَ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |إلا - Except| الذين - those who| صبروا - (are) patient| وعملوا - and do| الصالحات - the good deeds,| أولئك - those| لهم - for them| مغفرة - (will be) forgiveness| وأجر - and a reward| كبير - great.| | ||||||
| 3 [13:22] | Waallatheena sabarooibtighaa wajhi rabbihim waaqamoo alssalatawaanfaqoo mimma razaqnahum sirran waAAalaniyatanwayadraoona bialhasanati alssayyi-ata ola-ikalahum AAuqba alddari | والذين صبروا ابتغاء وجه ربهم وأقاموا الصلاة وأنفقوا مما رزقناهم سرا وعلانية ويدرءون بالحسنة السيئة أولئك لهم عقبى الدار وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَأَنفَقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلاَنِيَةً وَيَدْرَؤُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ | |||||
| Words | |والذين - And those who| صبروا - (are) patient,| ابتغاء - seeking| وجه - (the) Face| ربهم - (of) their Lord| وأقاموا - and establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وأنفقوا - and spend| مما - from what| رزقناهم - We have provided them,| سرا - secretly| وعلانية - and publicly| ويدرءون - and they repel| بالحسنة - with the good| السيئة - the evil -| أولئك - those| لهم - for them| عقبى - (is) the final attainment| الدار - (of) the Home -| | ||||||
| 4 [16:42] | Allatheena sabaroo waAAalarabbihim yatawakkaloona | الذين صبروا وعلى ربهم يتوكلون الَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |الذين - Those who| صبروا - (are) patient| وعلى - and on| ربهم - their Lord| يتوكلون - they put their trust.| | ||||||
| 5 [16:96] | Ma AAindakum yanfadu wamaAAinda Allahi baqin walanajziyanna allatheenasabaroo ajrahum bi-ahsani ma kanooyaAAmaloona | ما عندكم ينفد وما عند الله باق ولنجزين الذين صبروا أجرهم بأحسن ما كانوا يعملون مَا عِندَكُمْ يَنفَدُ وَمَا عِندَ اللّهِ بَاقٍ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّ الَّذِينَ صَبَرُواْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ما - Whatever| عندكم - (is) with you| ينفد - will be exhausted,| وما - and whatever| عند - (is) with| الله - Allah| باق - (will) be remaining.| ولنجزين - And surely We will pay| الذين - those who| صبروا - (are) patient| أجرهم - their reward| بأحسن - to (the) best| ما - (of) what| كانوا - they used (to)| يعملون - do.| | ||||||
| 6 [23:111] | Innee jazaytuhumu alyawma bima sabarooannahum humu alfa-izoona | إني جزيتهم اليوم بما صبروا أنهم هم الفائزون إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إني - Indeed, I| جزيتهم - have rewarded them| اليوم - this Day| بما - because| صبروا - they were patient,| أنهم - indeed, they| هم - [they]| الفائزون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 7 [25:75] | Ola-ika yujzawna alghurfata bimasabaroo wayulaqqawna feeha tahiyyatan wasalaman | أولئك يجزون الغرفة بما صبروا ويلقون فيها تحية وسلاما أُوْلَئِكَ يُجْزَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيُلَقَّوْنَ فِيهَا تَحِيَّةً وَسَلَامًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| يجزون - will be awarded| الغرفة - the Chamber| بما - because| صبروا - they were patient| ويلقون - and they will be met| فيها - therein| تحية - (with) greetings| وسلاما - and peace.| | ||||||
| 8 [28:54] | Ola-ika yu/tawna ajrahum marrataynibima sabaroo wayadraoona bialhasanatialssayyi-ata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona | أولئك يؤتون أجرهم مرتين بما صبروا ويدرءون بالحسنة السيئة ومما رزقناهم ينفقون أُوْلَئِكَ يُؤْتَوْنَ أَجْرَهُم مَّرَّتَيْنِ بِمَا صَبَرُوا وَيَدْرَؤُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| يؤتون - will be given| أجرهم - their reward| مرتين - twice| بما - because| صبروا - they are patient| ويدرءون - and they repel| بالحسنة - with good -| السيئة - the evil| ومما - and from what| رزقناهم - We have provided them| ينفقون - they spend.| | ||||||
| 9 [29:59] | Allatheena sabaroo waAAalarabbihim yatawakkaloona | الذين صبروا وعلى ربهم يتوكلون الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ | |||||

| 10 [32:24] | WajaAAalna minhum a-immatan yahdoonabi-amrina lamma sabaroo wakanoo bi-ayatinayooqinoona | وجعلنا منهم أئمة يهدون بأمرنا لما صبروا وكانوا بآياتنا يوقنون وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجعلنا - And We made| منهم - from them| أئمة - leaders| يهدون - guiding| بأمرنا - by Our Command| لما - when| صبروا - they were patient| وكانوا - and they were| بآياتنا - of Our Verses| يوقنون - certain.| | ||||||
| 11 [41:35] | Wama yulaqqaha illaallatheena sabaroo wama yulaqqahailla thoo haththin AAatheemin | وما يلقاها إلا الذين صبروا وما يلقاها إلا ذو حظ عظيم وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| يلقاها - it is granted| إلا - except| الذين - (to) those who| صبروا - (are) patient| وما - and not| يلقاها - it is granted| إلا - except| ذو - (to the) owner| حظ - (of) fortune| عظيم - great.| | ||||||
| 12 [49:5] | Walaw annahum sabaroo hattatakhruja ilayhim lakana khayran lahum waAllahughafoorun raheemun | ولو أنهم صبروا حتى تخرج إليهم لكان خيرا لهم والله غفور رحيم وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنهم - they| صبروا - had been patient| حتى - until| تخرج - you came out| إليهم - to them| لكان - certainly it would be| خيرا - better| لهم - for them.| والله - And Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| | ||||||
| 13 [76:12] | Wajazahum bima sabaroojannatan wahareeran | وجزاهم بما صبروا جنة وحريرا وَجَزَاهُم بِمَا صَبَرُوا جَنَّةً وَحَرِيرًا | |||||
