| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[49:5] | Walaw annahum sabaroo hattatakhruja ilayhim lakana khayran lahum waAllahughafoorun raheemun
|  ولو أنهم صبروا حتى تخرج إليهم لكان خيرا لهم والله غفور رحيم
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ |
| Words | |ولو - And if| أنهم - they| صبروا - had been patient| حتى - until| تخرج - you came out| إليهم - to them| لكان - certainly it would be| خيرا - better| لهم - for them.| والله - And Allah| غفور - (is) Oft-Forgiving,| رحيم - Most Merciful.| |

| ወደእነርሱም እስክትወጣ ድረስ እነርሱ በታገሱ ኖሮ ለእነርሱ በላጭ በኾነ ነበር፡፡ አላህም እጅግ መሓሪ አዛኝ ነው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { ولو أنهم صبروا } أنهم في محل رفع بالابتداء، وقيل فاعل لفعل مقدر، أي ثبت { حتى تخرج إليهم لكان خيرا لهم والله غفور رحيم } لمن تاب منهم، ونزل في الوليد بن عقبة وقد بعثه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى بني المصطلق مصدقا فخافهم لترة كانت بينه وبينهم في الجاهلية فرجع وقال إنهم منعوا الصدقة وهموا بقتله، فهمَّ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بغزوهم فجاءوا منكرين ما قاله عنهم . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | যদি তারা আপনার বের হয়ে তাদের কাছে আসা পর্যন্ত সবর করত, তবে তা-ই তাদের জন্যে মঙ্গলজনক হত। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু। |
| Literal | And if that they were patient until you get out/emerge to them, (it) would have been better for them, and God (is) forgiving, merciful. |
| Yusuf Ali | If only they had patience until thou couldst come out to them, it would be best for them: but Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |
