| 1 [4:157] | Waqawlihim inna qatalnaalmaseeha AAeesa ibna maryama rasoola Allahiwama qataloohu wama salaboohu walakinshubbiha lahum wa-inna allatheena ikhtalafoo feehi lafeeshakkin minhu ma lahum bihi min AAilmin illa ittibaAAaalththanni wama qataloohu yaqeenan |  وقولهم إنا قتلنا المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله وما قتلوه وما صلبوه ولكن شبه لهم وإن الذين اختلفوا فيه لفي شك منه ما لهم به من علم إلا اتباع الظن وما قتلوه يقيناوَقَوْلِهِمْ إِنَّا قَتَلْنَا الْمَسِيحَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ وَمَا صَلَبُوهُ وَلَـكِن شُبِّهَ لَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُواْ فِيهِ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مَا لَهُم بِهِ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِلاَّ اتِّبَاعَ الظَّنِّ وَمَا قَتَلُوهُ يَقِينًا | |||||
| Words | |وقولهم - And for their saying,| إنا - "Indeed, we| قتلنا - killed| المسيح - the Messiah,| عيسى - Isa,| ابن - son| مريم - (of) Maryam,| رسول - (the) Messenger| الله - (of) Allah."| وما - And not| قتلوه - they killed him| وما - and not| صلبوه - they crucified him| ولكن - but| شبه - it was made to appear (so)| لهم - to them.| وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| اختلفوا - differ| فيه - in it| لفي - (are) surely in| شك - doubt| منه - about it.| ما - Not| لهم - for them| به - about it| من - [of]| علم - (any) knowledge| إلا - except| اتباع - (the) following| الظن - (of) assumption.| وما - And not| قتلوه - they killed him,| يقينا - certainly.| | ||||||
| 2 [10:94] | Fa-in kunta fee shakkin mimma anzalnnailayka fais-ali allatheena yaqraoona alkitabamin qablika laqad jaaka alhaqqu min rabbika falatakoonanna mina almumtareena | فإن كنت في شك مما أنزلنا إليك فاسأل الذين يقرءون الكتاب من قبلك لقد جاءك الحق من ربك فلا تكونن من الممترين فَإِن كُنتَ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ فَاسْأَلِ الَّذِينَ يَقْرَؤُونَ الْكِتَابَ مِن قَبْلِكَ لَقَدْ جَاءَكَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَلاَ تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإن - So if| كنت - you are| في - in| شك - doubt| مما - of what| أنزلنا - We have revealed| إليك - to you,| فاسأل - then ask| الذين - those who| يقرءون - (have been) reading| الكتاب - the Book| من - before you.| قبلك - before you.| لقد - Verily,| جاءك - has come to you| الحق - the truth| من - from| ربك - your Lord,| فلا - so (do) not| تكونن - be| من - among| الممترين - the doubters.| | ||||||
| 3 [10:104] | Qul ya ayyuha alnnasuin kuntum fee shakkin min deenee fala aAAbudu allatheenataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi walakin aAAbudu Allahaallathee yatawaffakum waomirtu an akoona minaalmu/mineena | قل يا أيها الناس إن كنتم في شك من ديني فلا أعبد الذين تعبدون من دون الله ولكن أعبد الله الذي يتوفاكم وأمرت أن أكون من المؤمنين قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّن دِينِي فَلاَ أَعْبُدُ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللّهِ وَلَـكِنْ أَعْبُدُ اللّهَ الَّذِي يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ وَأُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أيها - "O mankind!| الناس - "O mankind!| إن - If| كنتم - you are| في - in| شك - doubt| من - of| ديني - my religion,| فلا - then not| أعبد - I worship| الذين - those whom| تعبدون - you worship| من - besides Allah,| دون - besides Allah,| الله - besides Allah,| ولكن - but| أعبد - I worship| الله - Allah,| الذي - the One Who| يتوفاكم - causes you to die.| وأمرت - And I am commanded| أن - that| أكون - I be| من - of| المؤمنين - the believers."| | ||||||
| 4 [11:62] | Qaloo ya salihuqad kunta feena marjuwwan qabla hatha atanhanaan naAAbuda ma yaAAbudu abaonawa-innana lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonailayhi mureebun | قالوا يا صالح قد كنت فينا مرجوا قبل هذا أتنهانا أن نعبد ما يعبد آباؤنا وإننا لفي شك مما تدعونا إليه مريب قَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَـذَا أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| صالح - O Salih!| قد - Verily| كنت - you were| فينا - among us| مرجوا - the one in whom hope was placed| قبل - before| هذا - this.| أتنهانا - Do you forbid us| أن - that| نعبد - we worship| ما - what| يعبد - our forefathers worshipped?| آباؤنا - our forefathers worshipped?| وإننا - And indeed we| لفي - surely (are) in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعونا - you call us| إليه - to it,| مريب - suspicious."| | ||||||
| 5 [11:110] | Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba faikhtulifa feehi walawla kalimatunsabaqat min rabbika laqudiya baynahum wa-innahum lafeeshakkin minhu mureebun | ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب فاختلف فيه ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك لقضي بينهم وإنهم لفي شك منه مريب وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ وَلَوْلاَ كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily| آتينا - We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Book,| فاختلف - but differences arose| فيه - therein.| ولولا - And if not| كلمة - (for) a Word| سبقت - (that) preceded| من - from| ربك - your Lord,| لقضي - surely would have been judged| بينهم - between them.| وإنهم - And indeed, they| لفي - surely (are) in| شك - doubt| منه - concerning it| مريب - suspicious.| | ||||||
| 6 [14:9] | Alam ya/tikum nabao allatheena minqablikum qawmi noohin waAAadin wathamooda waallatheenamin baAAdihim la yaAAlamuhum illa Allahu jaat-humrusuluhum bialbayyinati faraddoo aydiyahum fee afwahihimwaqaloo inna kafarna bima orsiltumbihi wa-inna lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonanailayhi mureebun | ألم يأتكم نبأ الذين من قبلكم قوم نوح وعاد وثمود والذين من بعدهم لا يعلمهم إلا الله جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فردوا أيديهم في أفواههم وقالوا إنا كفرنا بما أرسلتم به وإنا لفي شك مما تدعوننا إليه مريب أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَأُ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَالَّذِينَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُهُمْ إِلاَّ اللّهُ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَرَدُّواْ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَقَالُواْ إِنَّا كَفَرْنَا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُم بِهِ وَإِنَّا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَنَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |ألم - Has not| يأتكم - come to you| نبأ - (the) news| الذين - (of) those who| من - (were) before you,| قبلكم - (were) before you,| قوم - the people| نوح - of Nuh,| وعاد - and Aad| وثمود - and Thamud| والذين - and those who| من - (were) after them?| بعدهم - (were) after them?| لا - None| يعلمهم - knows them| إلا - except| الله - Allah.| جاءتهم - Came to them| رسلهم - their Messengers| بالبينات - with clear proofs| فردوا - but they returned| أيديهم - their hands| في - in| أفواههم - their mouths| وقالوا - and they said,| إنا - "Indeed we| كفرنا - [we] disbelieve| بما - in what| أرسلتم - you have been sent| به - with [it],| وإنا - and indeed, we| لفي - (are) surely in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعوننا - you invite us| إليه - to it| مريب - suspicious."| | ||||||
| 7 [14:10] | Qalat rusuluhum afee Allahishakkun fatiri alssamawati waal-ardiyadAAookum liyaghfira lakum min thunoobikumwayu-akhkhirakum ila ajalin musamman qaloo in antumilla basharun mithluna tureedoona an tasuddoonaAAamma kana yaAAbudu abaonafa/toona bisultanin mubeenin | قالت رسلهم أفي الله شك فاطر السماوات والأرض يدعوكم ليغفر لكم من ذنوبكم ويؤخركم إلى أجل مسمى قالوا إن أنتم إلا بشر مثلنا تريدون أن تصدونا عما كان يعبد آباؤنا فأتونا بسلطان مبين قَالَتْ رُسُلُهُمْ أَفِي اللّهِ شَكٌّ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ يَدْعُوكُمْ لِيَغْفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمْ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَـمًّى قَالُواْ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ آبَآؤُنَا فَأْتُونَا بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ | |||||
| Words | |قالت - Said| رسلهم - their Messengers,| أفي - "Can (there) be about| الله - Allah| شك - any doubt,| فاطر - (the) Creator| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?| يدعوكم - He invites you,| ليغفر - so that He may forgive| لكم - for you| من - [of]| ذنوبكم - your sins,| ويؤخركم - and give you respite| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - appointed."| قالوا - They said,| إن - "Not| أنتم - you| إلا - (are) but| بشر - a human| مثلنا - like us,| تريدون - you wish| أن - to| تصدونا - hinder us| عما - from what| كان - used to| يعبد - worship| آباؤنا - our forefathers.| فأتونا - So bring us| بسلطان - an authority| مبين - clear."| | ||||||
| 8 [27:66] | Bali iddaraka AAilmuhum fee al-akhiratibal hum fee shakkin minha bal hum minha AAamoona | بل ادارك علمهم في الآخرة بل هم في شك منها بل هم منها عمون بَلِ ادَّارَكَ عِلْمُهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهَا بَلْ هُم مِّنْهَا عَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |بل - Nay,| ادارك - is arrested| علمهم - their knowledge| في - of| الآخرة - the Hereafter?| بل - Nay| هم - they| في - (are) in| شك - doubt| منها - about it.| بل - Nay,| هم - they| منها - about it| عمون - (are) blind.| | ||||||
| 9 [34:21] | Wama kana lahu AAalayhim minsultanin illa linaAAlama man yu/minu bial-akhiratimimman huwa minha fee shakkin warabbuka AAala kullishay-in hafeethun | وما كان له عليهم من سلطان إلا لنعلم من يؤمن بالآخرة ممن هو منها في شك وربك على كل شيء حفيظ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِالْآخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِي شَكٍّ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيظٌ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| كان - was| له - for him| عليهم - over them| من - any| سلطان - authority| إلا - except| لنعلم - that We (might) make evident| من - who| يؤمن - believes| بالآخرة - in the Hereafter| ممن - from (one) who| هو - [he]| منها - about it| في - (is) in| شك - doubt.| وربك - And your Lord| على - over| كل - all| شيء - things| حفيظ - (is) a Guardian.| | ||||||
| 10 [34:54] | Waheela baynahum wabayna mayashtahoona kama fuAAila bi-ashyaAAihim min qabluinnahum kanoo fee shakkin mureebin | وحيل بينهم وبين ما يشتهون كما فعل بأشياعهم من قبل إنهم كانوا في شك مريب وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا فِي شَكٍّ مُّرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |وحيل - And a barrier will be placed| بينهم - between them| وبين - and between| ما - what| يشتهون - they desire,| كما - as| فعل - was done| بأشياعهم - with their kind| من - before.| قبل - before.| إنهم - Indeed, they| كانوا - were| في - in| شك - doubt| مريب - disquieting.| | ||||||
| 11 [38:8] | Aonzila AAalayhi alththikru minbaynina bal hum fee shakkin min thikree bal lammayathooqoo AAathabi | أأنزل عليه الذكر من بيننا بل هم في شك من ذكري بل لما يذوقوا عذاب أَأُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّن ذِكْرِي بَلْ لَمَّا يَذُوقُوا عَذَابِ | |||||
| Words | |أأنزل - Has been revealed| عليه - to him| الذكر - the Message| من - from| بيننا - among us?"| بل - Nay,| هم - They| في - (are) in| شك - doubt| من - about| ذكري - My Message.| بل - Nay,| لما - not yet| يذوقوا - they have tasted| عذاب - My punishment.| | ||||||
| 12 [40:34] | Walaqad jaakum yoosufu min qablu bialbayyinatifama ziltum fee shakkin mimma jaakum bihi hattaitha halaka qultum lan yabAAatha Allahu minbaAAdihi rasoolan kathalika yudillu Allahuman huwa musrifun murtabun | ولقد جاءكم يوسف من قبل بالبينات فما زلتم في شك مما جاءكم به حتى إذا هلك قلتم لن يبعث الله من بعده رسولا كذلك يضل الله من هو مسرف مرتاب وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِن قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا جَاءَكُم بِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ مِن بَعْدِهِ رَسُولًا كَذَلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And indeed,| جاءكم - came to you| يوسف - Yusuf| من - before| قبل - before| بالبينات - with clear proofs,| فما - but not| زلتم - you ceased| في - in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| جاءكم - he brought to you| به - [with it],| حتى - until| إذا - when| هلك - he died,| قلتم - you said,| لن - "Never| يبعث - will Allah raise| الله - will Allah raise| من - after him| بعده - after him| رسولا - a Messenger."| كذلك - Thus,| يضل - Allah lets go astray| الله - Allah lets go astray| من - who| هو - [he]| مسرف - (is) a transgressor,| مرتاب - a doubter."| | ||||||
| 13 [41:45] | Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba faikhtulifa feehi walawla kalimatunsabaqat min rabbika laqudiya baynahum wa-innahum lafeeshakkin minhu mureebin | ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب فاختلف فيه ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك لقضي بينهم وإنهم لفي شك منه مريب وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ | |||||

| 14 [42:14] | Wama tafarraqoo illa minbaAAdi ma jaahumu alAAilmu baghyan baynahum walawlakalimatun sabaqat min rabbika ila ajalin musamman laqudiyabaynahum wa-inna allatheena oorithoo alkitaba minbaAAdihim lafee shakkin minhu mureebin | وما تفرقوا إلا من بعد ما جاءهم العلم بغيا بينهم ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك إلى أجل مسمى لقضي بينهم وإن الذين أورثوا الكتاب من بعدهم لفي شك منه مريب وَمَا تَفَرَّقُوا إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ إِلَى أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى لَّقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُورِثُوا الْكِتَابَ مِن بَعْدِهِمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ | |||||
| Words | |وما - And not| تفرقوا - they became divided| إلا - until| من - after| بعد - after| ما - [what]| جاءهم - came to them| العلم - the knowledge| بغيا - (out of) rivalry,| بينهم - among them.| ولولا - And if not| كلمة - (for) a word| سبقت - (that) preceded| من - from| ربك - your Lord| إلى - for| أجل - a term| مسمى - specified,| لقضي - surely, it (would have) been settled| بينهم - between them.| وإن - And indeed,| الذين - those who| أورثوا - were made to inherit| الكتاب - the Book| من - after them| بعدهم - after them| لفي - (are) surely in| شك - doubt| منه - concerning it -| مريب - disquieting.| | ||||||
| 15 [44:9] | Bal hum fee shakkin yalAAaboona | بل هم في شك يلعبون بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ يَلْعَبُونَ | |||||
