بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

1 [11:110] | Walaqad atayna moosaalkitaba faikhtulifa feehi walawla kalimatunsabaqat min rabbika laqudiya baynahum wa-innahum lafeeshakkin minhu mureebun
| ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب فاختلف فيه ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك لقضي بينهم وإنهم لفي شك منه مريب وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ وَلَوْلاَ كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّنْهُ مُرِيبٍ |
Words | |ولقد - And verily| آتينا - We gave| موسى - Musa| الكتاب - the Book,| فاختلف - but differences arose| فيه - therein.| ولولا - And if not| كلمة - (for) a Word| سبقت - (that) preceded| من - from| ربك - your Lord,| لقضي - surely would have been judged| بينهم - between them.| وإنهم - And indeed, they| لفي - surely (are) in| شك - doubt| منه - concerning it| مريب - suspicious.| |

| ለሙሳም መጽሐፍን በእርግጥ ሰጠነው፡፡ በእርሱም ተለያዩበት፡፡ ከጌታህም ያለፈች ቃል ባልነበረች ኖሮ በመካከላቸው (አሁን) ይፈረድ ነበር፡፡ እነሱም ከእርሱ (ከቁርኣን) አወላዋይ በሆነ መጠራጠር ውስጥ ናቸው፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { ولقد آتينا موسى الكتاب } التوراة { فاختلف فيه } بالتصديق والتكذيب كالقرآن { ولولا كلمة سبقت من ربك } بتأخير الحساب والجزاء للخلائق إلى يوم القيامة { لقضي بينهم } في الدنيا فيما اختلفوا فيه { وإنهم } أي المكذِّبين به { لفي شك منه مريب } موقع في الريبة . |
| Ni$, s tidep, Nefka Tazmamt i Musa. Mgarraden fellas. Lemmer ur d izwar ara wawal s$uô Mass ik, yili useyyi garasen. Haaten, ih, di ccekk imcebbwel fellas. |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আর আমি মূসা (আঃ)-কে অবশ্যই কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম অতঃপর তাতে বিরোধ সৃষ্টি হল; বলাবাহুল্য তোমার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে, একটি কথা যদি আগেই বলা না হত, তাহলে তাদের মধ্যে চুড়ান্ত ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত তারা এ ব্যাপারে এমনই সন্দেহ প্রবণ যে, কিছুতেই নিশ্চিত হতে পারছে না। |
Literal | And We had given/brought Moses The Book , so it was differed/disputed in it, and were it not for a word/expression (that) preceded from your Lord, (it) would have ended/accomplished (settled) (E) between them, and that they are in (E) doubtful/suspicious doubt/suspicion from it. |
Yusuf Ali | We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose therein: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from thy Lord, the matter would have been decided between them, but they are in suspicious doubt concerning it. |
Pickthal | And we verily gave unto Moses the Scripture, and there was strife thereupon; and had it not been for a Word that had already gone forth from thy Lord, the case would have been judged between them, and lo! they are in grave doubt concerning it. |
Arberry | And We gave Moses the Book; and there was difference regarding it, and but for a word that preceded from thy Lord, it had been decided between them; and they are in doubt of it disquieting. |

Abul Ala Maududi | ہم اس سے پہلے موسیٰؑ کو بھی کتاب دے چکے ہیں اور اس کے بارے میں بھی اختلاف کیا گیا تھا (جس طرح آج اِس کتاب کے بارے میں کیا جا رہا ہے جو تمہیں دی گئی ہے) اگر تیرے رب کی طرف سے ایک بات پہلے ہی طے نہ کر دی گئی ہوتی تو اِن اختلاف کرنے والوں کے درمیان کبھی کا فیصلہ چکا دیا گیا ہوتا یہ واقعہ ہے کہ یہ لوگ اس کی طرف سے شک اور خلجان میں پڑے ہوئے ہیں |
