| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[11:62] | Qaloo ya salihuqad kunta feena marjuwwan qabla hatha atanhanaan naAAbuda ma yaAAbudu abaonawa-innana lafee shakkin mimma tadAAoonailayhi mureebun
|  قالوا يا صالح قد كنت فينا مرجوا قبل هذا أتنهانا أن نعبد ما يعبد آباؤنا وإننا لفي شك مما تدعونا إليه مريب
قَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَـذَا أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ |
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| صالح - O Salih!| قد - Verily| كنت - you were| فينا - among us| مرجوا - the one in whom hope was placed| قبل - before| هذا - this.| أتنهانا - Do you forbid us| أن - that| نعبد - we worship| ما - what| يعبد - our forefathers worshipped?| آباؤنا - our forefathers worshipped?| وإننا - And indeed we| لفي - surely (are) in| شك - doubt| مما - about what| تدعونا - you call us| إليه - to it,| مريب - suspicious."| |

| «ሷሊህ ሆይ! ከዚህ በፊት በእኛ ውስጥ (መሪ ልትሆን) በእርግጥ የምትከጅል ነበርክ፡፡ አባቶቻችን የሚገዙትን ከመገዛት ትከለክለናለህን እኛም ወደርሱ ከምትጠራን ነገር በእርግጥ አወላዋይ በሆነ መጠራጠር ውስጥ ነን» አሉ፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { قالوا يا صالح قد كنت فينا مرجوًّا } نرجو أن تكون سيدا { قبل هذا } الذي صدر منك { أتنهانا أن نعبد ما يعبد آباؤنا } من الأوثان { وإننا لفي شك مما تدعونا إليه } من التوحيد { مريب } موقع في الريب . |
| Nnan as: "a Üaliê, ni$ telliv garane$, uqbel aya, d asirem nne$. Day ad a$ tekksev aâbad n wayen âabden imezwura nne$? Nekwni, s tidep, aql a$ di ccekk imcebbwel, $ef wayen u$uô la $ tneccdev". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা বলল-হে সালেহ, ইতিপূর্বে তোমার কাছে আমাদের বড় আশা ছিল। আমাদের বাপ-দাদা যা পূজা করত তুমি কি আমাদেরকে তার পূজা করতে নিষেধ কর? কিন্তু যার প্রতি তুমি আমাদের আহবান জানাচ্ছ আমাদের তাতে এমন সন্দেহ রয়েছে যে, মন মোটেই সায় দিচ্ছে না। |
