| 1 [3:132] | WaateeAAoo Allaha waalrrasoolalaAAallakum turhamoona |  وأطيعوا الله والرسول لعلكم ترحمونوَأَطِيعُواْ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأطيعوا - And obey| الله - Allah| والرسول - and the Messenger| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy.| | ||||||
| 2 [6:155] | Wahatha kitabun anzalnahumubarakun faittabiAAoohu waittaqoolaAAallakum turhamoona | وهذا كتاب أنزلناه مبارك فاتبعوه واتقوا لعلكم ترحمون وَهَـذَا كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ مُبَارَكٌ فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَاتَّقُواْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهذا - And this| كتاب - (is) a Book| أنزلناه - We have revealed it -| مبارك - blessed,| فاتبعوه - so follow it| واتقوا - and fear (Allah)| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:63] | Awa AAajibtum an jaakum thikrunmin rabbikum AAala rajulin minkum liyunthirakumwalitattaqoo walaAAallakum turhamoona | أوعجبتم أن جاءكم ذكر من ربكم على رجل منكم لينذركم ولتتقوا ولعلكم ترحمون أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَاءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ وَلِتَتَّقُواْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |أوعجبتم - Do you wonder| أن - that| جاءكم - has come to you| ذكر - a reminder| من - from| ربكم - your Lord| على - on| رجل - a man| منكم - among you,| لينذركم - that he may warn you| ولتتقوا - and that you may fear,| ولعلكم - and so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:204] | Wa-itha quri-a alqur-anu faistamiAAoolahu waansitoo laAAallakum turhamoona | وإذا قرئ القرآن فاستمعوا له وأنصتوا لعلكم ترحمون وَإِذَا قُرِئَ الْقُرْآنُ فَاسْتَمِعُواْ لَهُ وَأَنصِتُواْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قرئ - is recited| القرآن - the Quran,| فاستمعوا - then listen| له - to it| وأنصتوا - and pay attention| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy.| | ||||||
| 5 [24:56] | Waaqeemoo alssalata waatooalzzakata waateeAAoo alrrasoolalaAAallakum turhamoona | وأقيموا الصلاة وآتوا الزكاة وأطيعوا الرسول لعلكم ترحمون وَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وأقيموا - And establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتوا - and give| الزكاة - zakah| وأطيعوا - and obey| الرسول - the Messenger,| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy.| | ||||||
| 6 [27:46] | Qala ya qawmi limatastaAAjiloona bialssayyi-ati qabla alhasanati lawlatastaghfiroona Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona | قال يا قوم لم تستعجلون بالسيئة قبل الحسنة لولا تستغفرون الله لعلكم ترحمون قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لِمَ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ لَوْلَا تَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| لم - Why| تستعجلون - (do) you seek to hasten| بالسيئة - the evil| قبل - before| الحسنة - the good?| لولا - Why not| تستغفرون - you ask forgiveness| الله - (of) Allah| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy?"| | ||||||
| 7 [36:45] | Wa-itha qeela lahumu ittaqoo mabayna aydeekum wama khalfakum laAAallakum turhamoona | وإذا قيل لهم اتقوا ما بين أيديكم وما خلفكم لعلكم ترحمون وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وإذا - And when| قيل - it is said| لهم - to them,| اتقوا - "Fear| ما - what| بين - (is) before you| أيديكم - (is) before you| وما - and what| خلفكم - (is) behind you| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy."| | ||||||
| 8 [49:10] | Innama almu/minoona ikhwatun faaslihoobayna akhawaykum waittaqoo Allaha laAAallakum turhamoona | إنما المؤمنون إخوة فأصلحوا بين أخويكم واتقوا الله لعلكم ترحمون إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| المؤمنون - the believers| إخوة - (are) brothers,| فأصلحوا - so make peace| بين - between| أخويكم - your brothers,| واتقوا - and fear Allah| الله - and fear Allah| لعلكم - so that you may| ترحمون - receive mercy.| | ||||||
