| 1 [3:64] | Qul ya ahla alkitabi taAAalawila kalimatin sawa-in baynana wabaynakum allanaAAbuda illa Allaha wala nushrika bihishay-an wala yattakhitha baAAdunabaAAdan arbaban min dooni Allahi fa-intawallaw faqooloo ishhadoo bi-anna muslimoona |  قل يا أهل الكتاب تعالوا إلى كلمة سواء بيننا وبينكم ألا نعبد إلا الله ولا نشرك به شيئا ولا يتخذ بعضنا بعضا أربابا من دون الله فإن تولوا فقولوا اشهدوا بأنا مسلمونقُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْاْ إِلَى كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلاَّ نَعْبُدَ إِلاَّ اللّهَ وَلاَ نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضاً أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ اللّهِ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْاْ فَقُولُواْ اشْهَدُواْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يا - O| أهل - "O People| الكتاب - (of) the Book!| تعالوا - Come| إلى - to| كلمة - a word| سواء - equitable| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you -| ألا - that not| نعبد - we worship| إلا - except| الله - Allah,| ولا - and not| نشرك - we associate partners| به - with Him -| شيئا - anything| ولا - and not| يتخذ - take| بعضنا - some of us| بعضا - (to) others| أربابا - (as) lords| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah."| فإن - Then if| تولوا - they turn away,| فقولوا - then say,| اشهدوا - "Bear witness| بأنا - that we| مسلمون - (are) Muslims."| | ||||||
| 2 [5:25] | Qala rabbi innee la amliku illanafsee waakhee faofruq baynana wabayna alqawmi alfasiqeena | قال رب إني لا أملك إلا نفسي وأخي فافرق بيننا وبين القوم الفاسقين قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لاَ أَمْلِكُ إِلاَّ نَفْسِي وَأَخِي فَافْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ الْقَوْمِ الْفَاسِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قال - He said| رب - "O my Lord!| إني - Indeed, I| لا - (do) not| أملك - (have) power| إلا - except| نفسي - (over) myself| وأخي - and my brother,| فافرق - so (make a) separation| بيننا - between us| وبين - and between| القوم - the people,| الفاسقين - (the) defiantly disobedient."| | ||||||
| 3 [6:53] | Wakathalika fatanna baAAdahumbibaAAdin liyaqooloo ahaola-i manna AllahuAAalayhim min baynina alaysa Allahu bi-aAAlama bialshshakireena | وكذلك فتنا بعضهم ببعض ليقولوا أهؤلاء من الله عليهم من بيننا أليس الله بأعلم بالشاكرين وَكَذَلِكَ فَتَنَّا بَعْضَهُم بِبَعْضٍ لِّيَقُولواْ أَهَـؤُلاَءِ مَنَّ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّن بَيْنِنَا أَلَيْسَ اللّهُ بِأَعْلَمَ بِالشَّاكِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وكذلك - And thus| فتنا - We try| بعضهم - some of them| ببعض - with others| ليقولوا - that they say,| أهؤلاء - "Are these| من - (whom has been) favored| الله - (by) Allah| عليهم - [upon them]| من - from| بيننا - among us?"| أليس - is not| الله - Allah| بأعلم - most knowing| بالشاكرين - of those who are grateful?| | ||||||
| 4 [7:87] | Wa-in kana ta-ifatun minkum amanoobiallathee orsiltu bihi wata-ifatun lamyu/minoo faisbiroo hatta yahkumaAllahu baynana wahuwa khayru alhakimeena | وإن كان طائفة منكم آمنوا بالذي أرسلت به وطائفة لم يؤمنوا فاصبروا حتى يحكم الله بيننا وهو خير الحاكمين وَإِن كَانَ طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنكُمْ آمَنُواْ بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ وَطَآئِفَةٌ لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُواْ فَاصْبِرُواْ حَتَّى يَحْكُمَ اللّهُ بَيْنَنَا وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْحَاكِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| كان - (there) is| طائفة - a group| منكم - among you| آمنوا - (who has) believed| بالذي - in that which| أرسلت - I have been sent| به - with [it],| وطائفة - and a group| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they believe,| فاصبروا - then be patient| حتى - until| يحكم - judges| الله - Allah| بيننا - between us.| وهو - And He| خير - (is the) Best| الحاكمين - (of) [the] Judges."| | ||||||
| 5 [7:89] | Qadi iftarayna AAala Allahikathiban in AAudna fee millatikum baAAda ithnajjana Allahu minha wamayakoonu lana an naAAooda feeha illa an yashaaAllahu rabbuna wasiAAa rabbuna kulla shay-inAAilman AAala Allahi tawakkalna rabbanaiftah baynana wabayna qawmina bialhaqqiwaanta khayru alfatiheena | قد افترينا على الله كذبا إن عدنا في ملتكم بعد إذ نجانا الله منها وما يكون لنا أن نعود فيها إلا أن يشاء الله ربنا وسع ربنا كل شيء علما على الله توكلنا ربنا افتح بيننا وبين قومنا بالحق وأنت خير الفاتحين قَدِ افْتَرَيْنَا عَلَى اللّهِ كَذِبًا إِنْ عُدْنَا فِي مِلَّتِكُم بَعْدَ إِذْ نَجَّانَا اللّهُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّعُودَ فِيهَا إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاءَ اللّهُ رَبُّنَا وَسِعَ رَبُّنَا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عِلْمًا عَلَى اللّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا افْتَحْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ قَوْمِنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الْفَاتِحِينَ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Verily,| افترينا - we would have fabricated| على - against| الله - Allah| كذبا - a lie| إن - if| عدنا - we returned| في - in| ملتكم - your religion| بعد - after| إذ - [when]| نجانا - saved us| الله - Allah| منها - from it.| وما - And not| يكون - it is| لنا - for us| أن - that| نعود - we return| فيها - in it| إلا - except| أن - that| يشاء - wills| الله - Allah -| ربنا - our Lord.| وسع - Encompasses| ربنا - (by) Our Lord| كل - every| شيء - thing| علما - (in) knowledge.| على - Upon| الله - Allah| توكلنا - we put our trust.| ربنا - Our Lord!| افتح - Decide| بيننا - between us| وبين - and between| قومنا - our people| بالحق - in truth| وأنت - and You| خير - (are the) Best| الفاتحين - (of) those who Decide."| | ||||||
| 6 [10:29] | Fakafa biAllahishaheedan baynana wabaynakum in kunna AAan AAibadatikumlaghafileena | فكفى بالله شهيدا بيننا وبينكم إن كنا عن عبادتكم لغافلين فَكَفَى بِاللّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ إِن كُنَّا عَنْ عِبَادَتِكُمْ لَغَافِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فكفى - So sufficient| بالله - (is) Allah| شهيدا - (as) a witness| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you| إن - that| كنا - we were| عن - of| عبادتكم - your worship| لغافلين - certainly unaware.| | ||||||
| 7 [18:94] | Qaloo ya tha alqarnayniinna ya/jooja wama/jooja mufsidoona fee al-ardi fahalnajAAalu laka kharjan AAala an tajAAala baynanawabaynahum saddan | قالوا يا ذا القرنين إن يأجوج ومأجوج مفسدون في الأرض فهل نجعل لك خرجا على أن تجعل بيننا وبينهم سدا قَالُوا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلَى أَن تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا | |||||
| Words | |قالوا - They said,| يا - O| ذا - "O Dhul-qarnain!| القرنين - "O Dhul-qarnain!| إن - Indeed,| يأجوج - Yajuj| ومأجوج - and Majuj| مفسدون - (are) corrupters| في - in| الأرض - the land.| فهل - So may| نجعل - we make| لك - for you| خرجا - an expenditure| على - [on]| أن - that| تجعل - you make| بيننا - between us| وبينهم - and between them| سدا - a barrier?"| | ||||||
| 8 [20:58] | Falana/tiyannaka bisihrin mithlihi faijAAalbaynana wabaynaka mawAAidan la nukhlifuhu nahnuwala anta makanan suwan | فلنأتينك بسحر مثله فاجعل بيننا وبينك موعدا لا نخلفه نحن ولا أنت مكانا سوى فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٍ مِّثْلِهِ فَاجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّا نُخْلِفُهُ نَحْنُ وَلَا أَنتَ مَكَانًا سُوًى | |||||
| Words | |فلنأتينك - Then we will surely produce for you| بسحر - magic| مثله - like it.| فاجعل - So make| بيننا - between us| وبينك - and between you| موعدا - an appointment,| لا - not| نخلفه - we will fail it| نحن - [we]| ولا - and not| أنت - you,| مكانا - (in) a place| سوى - even."| | ||||||
| 9 [34:26] | Qul yajmaAAu baynana rabbunathumma yaftahu baynana bialhaqqiwahuwa alfattahu alAAaleemu | قل يجمع بيننا ربنا ثم يفتح بيننا بالحق وهو الفتاح العليم قُلْ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَهُوَ الْفَتَّاحُ الْعَلِيمُ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| يجمع - "Will gather| بيننا - us together| ربنا - our Lord,| ثم - then| يفتح - He will judge| بيننا - between us| بالحق - in truth.| وهو - And He| الفتاح - (is) the Judge| العليم - the All-Knowing."| | ||||||
| 10 [38:8] | Aonzila AAalayhi alththikru minbaynina bal hum fee shakkin min thikree bal lammayathooqoo AAathabi | أأنزل عليه الذكر من بيننا بل هم في شك من ذكري بل لما يذوقوا عذاب أَأُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِّن ذِكْرِي بَلْ لَمَّا يَذُوقُوا عَذَابِ | |||||
| Words | |أأنزل - Has been revealed| عليه - to him| الذكر - the Message| من - from| بيننا - among us?"| بل - Nay,| هم - They| في - (are) in| شك - doubt| من - about| ذكري - My Message.| بل - Nay,| لما - not yet| يذوقوا - they have tasted| عذاب - My punishment.| | ||||||
| 11 [38:22] | Ith dakhaloo AAala dawoodafafaziAAa minhum qaloo la takhaf khasmanibagha baAAduna AAala baAAdinfaohkum baynana bialhaqqi walatushtit waihdina ila sawa-ialssirati | إذ دخلوا على داوود ففزع منهم قالوا لا تخف خصمان بغى بعضنا على بعض فاحكم بيننا بالحق ولا تشطط واهدنا إلى سواء الصراط إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَى دَاوُودَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ خَصْمَانِ بَغَى بَعْضُنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَاهْدِنَا إِلَى سَوَاءِ الصِّرَاطِ | |||||
| Words | |إذ - When| دخلوا - they entered| على - upon| داوود - Dawood| ففزع - and he was afraid| منهم - of them,| قالوا - they said,| لا - "(Do) not| تخف - fear.| خصمان - (We are) two litigants,| بغى - has wronged| بعضنا - one of us| على - to| بعض - another,| فاحكم - so judge| بيننا - between us| بالحق - in truth| ولا - and (do) not| تشطط - be unjust| واهدنا - and guide us| إلى - to| سواء - an even| الصراط - [the] path.| | ||||||
| 12 [41:5] | Waqaloo quloobuna fee akinnatinmimma tadAAoona ilayhi wafee athaninawaqrun wamin baynina wabaynika hijabun faiAAmalinnana AAamiloona | وقالوا قلوبنا في أكنة مما تدعونا إليه وفي آذاننا وقر ومن بيننا وبينك حجاب فاعمل إننا عاملون وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِن بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they say,| قلوبنا - "Our hearts| في - (are) in| أكنة - coverings| مما - from what| تدعونا - you call us| إليه - to it,| وفي - and in| آذاننا - our ears| وقر - (is) deafness,| ومن - and between us| بيننا - and between us| وبينك - and between you| حجاب - (is) a screen.| فاعمل - So work,| إننا - indeed, we| عاملون - (are) working."| | ||||||
| 13 [42:15] | Falithalika faodAAu waistaqimkama omirta wala tattabiAA ahwaahum waqul amantubima anzala Allahu min kitabin waomirtuli-aAAdila baynakum Allahu rabbuna warabbukum lanaaAAmaluna walakum aAAmalukum la hujjatabaynana wabaynakumu Allahu yajmaAAu baynanawa-ilayhi almaseeru | فلذلك فادع واستقم كما أمرت ولا تتبع أهواءهم وقل آمنت بما أنزل الله من كتاب وأمرت لأعدل بينكم الله ربنا وربكم لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم لا حجة بيننا وبينكم الله يجمع بيننا وإليه المصير فَلِذَلِكَ فَادْعُ وَاسْتَقِمْ كَمَا أُمِرْتَ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ وَقُلْ آمَنتُ بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ مِن كِتَابٍ وَأُمِرْتُ لِأَعْدِلَ بَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكُمْ لَنَا أَعْمَالُنَا وَلَكُمْ أَعْمَالُكُمْ لَا حُجَّةَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ اللَّهُ يَجْمَعُ بَيْنَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |فلذلك - So to that| فادع - then invite,| واستقم - and stand firm| كما - as| أمرت - you are commanded| ولا - and (do) not| تتبع - follow| أهواءهم - their desires,| وقل - but say,| آمنت - "I believe| بما - in what| أنزل - Allah has sent down| الله - Allah has sent down| من - of| كتاب - (the) Book,| وأمرت - and I am commanded| لأعدل - that I do justice| بينكم - between you.| الله - Allah| ربنا - (is) our Lord| وربكم - and your Lord.| لنا - For us| أعمالنا - our deeds| ولكم - and for you| أعمالكم - your deeds.| لا - (There is) no| حجة - argument| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you.| الله - Allah| يجمع - will assemble| بيننا - [between] us,| وإليه - and to Him| المصير - (is) the final return."| | ||||||
| 14 [54:25] | Aolqiya alththikru AAalayhimin baynina bal huwa kaththabun ashirun | أألقي الذكر عليه من بيننا بل هو كذاب أشر أَؤُلْقِيَ الذِّكْرُ عَلَيْهِ مِن بَيْنِنَا بَلْ هُوَ كَذَّابٌ أَشِرٌ | |||||
| Words | |أألقي - Has been sent| الذكر - the Reminder| عليه - to him| من - from| بيننا - among us?| بل - Nay,| هو - he| كذاب - (is) a liar| أشر - insolent."| | ||||||
| 15 [60:4] | Qad kanat lakum oswatun hasanatunfee ibraheema waallatheena maAAahu ithqaloo liqawmihim inna buraao minkum wamimmataAAbudoona min dooni Allahi kafarna bikum wabadabaynana wabaynakumu alAAadawatu waalbaghdaoabadan hatta tu/minoo biAllahi wahdahuilla qawla ibraheema li-abeehi laastaghfiranna lakawama amliku laka mina Allahi min shay-in rabbanaAAalayka tawakkalna wa-ilayka anabna wa-ilayka almaseeru | قد كانت لكم أسوة حسنة في إبراهيم والذين معه إذ قالوا لقومهم إنا برآء منكم ومما تعبدون من دون الله كفرنا بكم وبدا بيننا وبينكم العداوة والبغضاء أبدا حتى تؤمنوا بالله وحده إلا قول إبراهيم لأبيه لأستغفرن لك وما أملك لك من الله من شيء ربنا عليك توكلنا وإليك أنبنا وإليك المصير قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ إِذْ قَالُوا لِقَوْمِهِمْ إِنَّا بُرَءَاؤُا مِنكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاءُ أَبَدًا حَتَّى تُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ إِلَّا قَوْلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ لَأَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَا أَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِن شَيْءٍ رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |قد - Indeed,| كانت - (there) is| لكم - for you| أسوة - an example| حسنة - good| في - in| إبراهيم - Ibrahim| والذين - and those| معه - with him,| إذ - when| قالوا - they said| لقومهم - to their people,| إنا - "Indeed, we| برآء - (are) disassociated| منكم - from you| ومما - and from what| تعبدون - you worship| من - from| دون - besides| الله - Allah.| كفرنا - We have denied| بكم - you,| وبدا - and has appeared| بيننا - between us| وبينكم - and between you| العداوة - enmity| والبغضاء - and hatred| أبدا - forever| حتى - until| تؤمنوا - you believe| بالله - in Allah| وحده - Alone."| إلا - Except| قول - (the) saying| إبراهيم - (of) Ibrahim| لأبيه - to his father,| لأستغفرن - "Surely I ask forgiveness| لك - for you,| وما - but not| أملك - I have power| لك - for you| من - from| الله - Allah| من - of| شيء - anything.| ربنا - Our Lord,| عليك - upon You| توكلنا - we put our trust,| وإليك - and to You| أنبنا - we turn,| وإليك - and to You| المصير - (is) the final return.| | ||||||
