| 1 [6:152] | Wala taqraboo mala alyateemiilla biallatee hiya ahsanu hattayablugha ashuddahu waawfoo alkayla waalmeezana bialqistila nukallifu nafsan illa wusAAaha wa-ithaqultum faiAAdiloo walaw kana tha qurbawabiAAahdi Allahi awfoo thalikum wassakumbihi laAAallakum tathakkaroona |  ولا تقربوا مال اليتيم إلا بالتي هي أحسن حتى يبلغ أشده وأوفوا الكيل والميزان بالقسط لا نكلف نفسا إلا وسعها وإذا قلتم فاعدلوا ولو كان ذا قربى وبعهد الله أوفوا ذلكم وصاكم به لعلكم تذكرونوَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ بِالْقِسْطِ لاَ نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا وَإِذَا قُلْتُمْ فَاعْدِلُواْ وَلَوْ كَانَ ذَا قُرْبَى وَبِعَهْدِ اللّهِ أَوْفُواْ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُم بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولا - And (do) not| تقربوا - go near| مال - wealth| اليتيم - (of) the orphans| إلا - except| بالتي - with that| هي - which| أحسن - (is) best| حتى - until| يبلغ - he reaches| أشده - his maturity.| وأوفوا - And give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| بالقسط - with justice.| لا - Not| نكلف - We burden| نفسا - any soul| إلا - except| وسعها - (to) its capacity.| وإذا - And when| قلتم - you speak| فاعدلوا - then be just| ولو - even if| كان - he is| ذا - (one of).| قربى - a near relative.| وبعهد - And (the) Covenant| الله - (of) Allah| أوفوا - fulfil.| ذلكم - That| وصاكم - (He) has enjoined on you| به - with it| لعلكم - so that you may| تذكرون - remember.| | ||||||
| 2 [7:85] | Wa-ila madyana akhahumshuAAayban qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu qad jaatkum bayyinatunmin rabbikum faawfoo alkayla waalmeezana walatabkhasoo alnnasa ashyaahum walatufsidoo fee al-ardi baAAda islahiha thalikumkhayrun lakum in kuntum mu/mineena | وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة من ربكم فأوفوا الكيل والميزان ولا تبخسوا الناس أشياءهم ولا تفسدوا في الأرض بعد إصلاحها ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين وَإِلَى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلاَ تَبْخَسُواْ النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلاَحِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وإلى - And to| مدين - Madyan,| أخاهم - his brother| شعيبا - Shuaib.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| قد - Verily,| جاءتكم - has came to you| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربكم - your Lord.| فأوفوا - So give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| ولا - and (do) not| تبخسوا - deprive| الناس - [the] people| أشياءهم - in their things| ولا - and (do) not| تفسدوا - cause corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بعد - after| إصلاحها - its reformation.| ذلكم - That| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| | ||||||
| 3 [12:59] | Walamma jahhazahum bijahazihimqala i/toonee bi-akhin lakum min abeekum alatarawna annee oofee alkayla waana khayru almunzileena | ولما جهزهم بجهازهم قال ائتوني بأخ لكم من أبيكم ألا ترون أني أوفي الكيل وأنا خير المنزلين وَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ قَالَ ائْتُونِي بِأَخٍ لَّكُم مِّنْ أَبِيكُمْ أَلاَ تَرَوْنَ أَنِّي أُوفِي الْكَيْلَ وَأَنَاْ خَيْرُ الْمُـنْـزِلِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| جهزهم - he had furnished them| بجهازهم - with their supplies,| قال - he said,| ائتوني - "Bring to me| بأخ - a brother| لكم - of yours,| من - from| أبيكم - your father.| ألا - Do not| ترون - you see| أني - that I| أوفي - [I] give full| الكيل - [the] measure,| وأنا - and that I am| خير - (the) best| المنزلين - (of) the hosts?| | ||||||
| 4 [12:63] | Falamma rajaAAoo ila abeehim qalooya abana muniAAa minna alkaylufaarsil maAAana akhana naktal wa-innalahu lahafithoona | فلما رجعوا إلى أبيهم قالوا يا أبانا منع منا الكيل فأرسل معنا أخانا نكتل وإنا له لحافظون فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مُنِعَ مِنَّا الْكَيْلُ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا أَخَانَا نَكْتَلْ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| رجعوا - they returned| إلى - to| أبيهم - their father,| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| منع - Has been denied| منا - to us| الكيل - the measure,| فأرسل - so send| معنا - with us| أخانا - our brother| نكتل - (that) we will get measure.| وإنا - And indeed, we| له - for him| لحافظون - (will) surely (be) guardians."| | ||||||
| 5 [12:88] | Falamma dakhaloo AAalayhi qalooya ayyuha alAAazeezu massana waahlanaalddurru waji/na bibidaAAatin muzjatinfaawfi lana alkayla watasaddaq AAalayna innaAllaha yajzee almutasaddiqeena | فلما دخلوا عليه قالوا يا أيها العزيز مسنا وأهلنا الضر وجئنا ببضاعة مزجاة فأوف لنا الكيل وتصدق علينا إن الله يجزي المتصدقين فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَيْهِ قَالُواْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهْلَنَا الضُّرُّ وَجِئْنَا بِبِضَاعَةٍ مُّزْجَاةٍ فَأَوْفِ لَنَا الْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ إِنَّ اللّهَ يَجْزِي الْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - So when| دخلوا - they entered| عليه - upon him| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| أيها - "O Aziz!| العزيز - "O Aziz!| مسنا - Has touched us| وأهلنا - and our family| الضر - the adversity,| وجئنا - and we have come| ببضاعة - with goods| مزجاة - (of) little value,| فأوف - but pay (in) full| لنا - to us| الكيل - the measure| وتصدق - and be charitable| علينا - to us.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| يجزي - rewards| المتصدقين - the charitable."| | ||||||
| 6 [17:35] | Waawfoo alkayla itha kiltum wazinoobialqistasi almustaqeemi thalika khayrun waahsanuta/weelan | وأوفوا الكيل إذا كلتم وزنوا بالقسطاس المستقيم ذلك خير وأحسن تأويلا وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ إِذا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُواْ بِالْقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً | |||||
| Words | |وأوفوا - And give full| الكيل - [the] measure| إذا - when| كلتم - you measure,| وزنوا - and weigh| بالقسطاس - with the balance| المستقيم - the straight.| ذلك - That| خير - (is) good| وأحسن - and best| تأويلا - (in) result.| | ||||||
| 7 [26:181] | Awfoo alkayla wala takoonoo minaalmukhsireena | أوفوا الكيل ولا تكونوا من المخسرين أَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُخْسِرِينَ | |||||
