1 [12:63] | Falamma rajaAAoo ila abeehim qalooya abana muniAAa minna alkaylufaarsil maAAana akhana naktal wa-innalahu lahafithoona
| فلما رجعوا إلى أبيهم قالوا يا أبانا منع منا الكيل فأرسل معنا أخانا نكتل وإنا له لحافظون فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا إِلَى أَبِيهِمْ قَالُواْ يَا أَبَانَا مُنِعَ مِنَّا الْكَيْلُ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا أَخَانَا نَكْتَلْ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ |
Words | |فلما - So when| رجعوا - they returned| إلى - to| أبيهم - their father,| قالوا - they said,| يا - O| أبانا - "O our father!| منع - Has been denied| منا - to us| الكيل - the measure,| فأرسل - so send| معنا - with us| أخانا - our brother| نكتل - (that) we will get measure.| وإنا - And indeed, we| له - for him| لحافظون - (will) surely (be) guardians."| |

| ወደ አባታቸውም በተመሰሉ ጊዜ፡- «አባታችን ሆይ! (ወንድማችንን እስከምንወስድ) ስፍር ከእኛ ተከልክሏል፡፡ ስለዚህ ወንድማችንን ከእኛ ጋር ላከው፡፡ ይሰፍርልናልና እኛም ለርሱ ጠባቂዎች ነን» አሉ፡፡ |
آل الجلالين | { فلما رجعوا إلى أبيهم قالوا: يا أبانا منع منا الكيل } إن لم ترسل أخانا إليه { فأرسل معنا أخانا نكتل } بالنون والياء { وإنا له لحافظون } . |
| Mi bbwven ar babat sen, nnan: "a babat nne$, igdel fella$ lkil, azen gmat nne$ yidne$, iwakken a d nektil. Nekwni, war ccekk, a nêareb fellas". |
মুহিউদ্দীন খান | তারা যখন তাদের পিতার কাছে ফিরে এল তখন বললঃ হে আমাদের পিতা, আমাদের জন্যে খাদ্য শস্যের বরাদ্দ নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। অতএব আপনি আমাদের ভাইকে আমাদের সাথে প্রেরণ করুন; যাতে আমরা খাদ্য শস্যের বরাদ্দ আনতে পারি এবং আমরা অবশ্যই তার পুরোপুরি হেফাযত করব। |
Literal | So when they returned to their father, they said: "You our father, the measuring/weighing device (the goods) was prevented/prohibited from (for) us, so send with us our brother, we take (goods) by measure/weight, we are for him protectors/guards (E) ." |
Yusuf Ali | Now when they returned to their father, they said: "O our father! No more measure of grain shall we get (unless we take our brother): So send our brother with us, that we may get our measure; and we will indeed take every care of him." |
Pickthal | So when they went back to their father they said: O our father! The measure is denied us, so send with us our brother that we may obtain the measure, surely we will guard him well. |

Shabbir Ahmed | پھر جب واپس پہنچے وہ اپنے باپ کے پاس تو اُنہوں نے کہا: ابّا جان! انکار کر دیا گیا ہے ہمیں غلّہ دینے سے (آئندہ کے لیے) تو بھیج دیجیے ہمارے ساتھ ہمارے بھائی کو تاکہ ہم غلّہ لاسکیں اور یقینا ہم اس کی حفاظت کے ذمّہ دار ہیں۔ |
