| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[12:62] | Waqala lifityanihi ijAAaloo bidaAAatahumfee rihalihim laAAallahum yaAArifoonaha ithainqalaboo ila ahlihim laAAallahum yarjiAAoona
|  وقال لفتيانه اجعلوا بضاعتهم في رحالهم لعلهم يعرفونها إذا انقلبوا إلى أهلهم لعلهم يرجعون
وَقَالَ لِفِتْيَانِهِ اجْعَلُواْ بِضَاعَتَهُمْ فِي رِحَالِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَعْرِفُونَهَا إِذَا انقَلَبُواْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ |
| Words | |وقال - And he said| لفتيانه - to his servants,| اجعلوا - "Put| بضاعتهم - their merchandise| في - in| رحالهم - their saddlebags| لعلهم - so that they| يعرفونها - may recognize it| إذا - when| انقلبوا - they go back| إلى - to| أهلهم - their people| لعلهم - so that they may| يرجعون - return."| |

| ለአሽከሮቹም «ሸቀጣቸውን ወደ ቤተሰቦቻቸው በተመለሱ ጊዜ ያውቋት ዘንድ በየጓዞቻቸው ውስጥ አድርጉላቸው፡፡ ሊመለሱ ይከጀላልና» አላቸው፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وقال لفتيته } وفي قراءة لفتيانه غلمانه { اجعلوا بضاعتهم } التي أتوا بها ثمن الميرة وكانت دراهم { في رحالهم } أوعيتهم { لعلهم يعرفونها إذا انقلبوا إلى أهلهم } وفرغوا أوعيتهم { لعلم يرجعون } إلينا لأنهم لا يستحلون إمساكها . |
| Inna i iqeddacen is: "rret selâa nnsen deg icekkaôen nnsen, amar a p âaqlen mara awven ar twacult nnsen, amar a d u$alen". |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | এবং সে ভৃত্যদেরকে বললঃ তাদের পণ্যমূল্য তাদের রসদ-পত্রের মধ্যে রেখে দাও-সম্ভবতঃ তারা গৃহে পৌঁছে তা বুঝতে পারবে, সম্ভবতঃ তারা পুনর্বার আসবে। |
| Literal | And he said to his youths/servants : "Put their goods/merchandise in their packsaddles, maybe/perhaps they know (recognize) it when they returned to their family/people , maybe/perhaps they return." |
| Yusuf Ali | And (Joseph) told his servants to put their stock-in-trade (with which they had bartered) into their saddle-bags, so they should know it only when they returned to their people, in order that they might come back. |
