[7:85] | Wa-ila madyana akhahumshuAAayban qala ya qawmi oAAbudoo Allaha malakum min ilahin ghayruhu qad jaatkum bayyinatunmin rabbikum faawfoo alkayla waalmeezana walatabkhasoo alnnasa ashyaahum walatufsidoo fee al-ardi baAAda islahiha thalikumkhayrun lakum in kuntum mu/mineena
|  وإلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة من ربكم فأوفوا الكيل والميزان ولا تبخسوا الناس أشياءهم ولا تفسدوا في الأرض بعد إصلاحها ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين
وَإِلَى مَدْيَنَ أَخَاهُمْ شُعَيْبًا قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَـهٍ غَيْرُهُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُم بَيِّنَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَوْفُواْ الْكَيْلَ وَالْمِيزَانَ وَلاَ تَبْخَسُواْ النَّاسَ أَشْيَاءَهُمْ وَلاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِي الْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلاَحِهَا ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
| Words | |وإلى - And to| مدين - Madyan,| أخاهم - his brother| شعيبا - Shuaib.| قال - He said,| يا - O| قوم - "O my people!| اعبدوا - Worship| الله - Allah,| ما - not| لكم - for you| من - any| إله - god| غيره - other than Him.| قد - Verily,| جاءتكم - has came to you| بينة - a clear proof| من - from| ربكم - your Lord.| فأوفوا - So give full| الكيل - [the] measure| والميزان - and the weight| ولا - and (do) not| تبخسوا - deprive| الناس - [the] people| أشياءهم - in their things| ولا - and (do) not| تفسدوا - cause corruption| في - in| الأرض - the earth| بعد - after| إصلاحها - its reformation.| ذلكم - That| خير - (is) better| لكم - for you| إن - if| كنتم - you are| مؤمنين - believers.| |

| ወደ መድየንም (ምድያን) ወንድማቸውን ሹዓይብን (ላክን)፤ አላቸው፡- «ወገኖቼ ሆይ! አላህን ተገዙ፡፡ ከእርሱ በቀር ምንም አምላክ የላችሁም፡፡ ከጌታችሁ ዘንድ ግልጽ ማስረጃ በእርግጥ መጥታላችኋለች፡፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንን ሙሉ፡፡ ሰዎችንም አንዳቾቻቸውን (ገንዘቦቻቸውን) አታጉድሉባቸው፡፡ በምድርም ውስጥ ከተበጀች በኋላ አታበላሹ፡፡ ይህ ምእምናን እንደኾናችሁ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ነው፡፡» |
| آل الجلالين | { و } أرسلنا { إلى مدين أخاهم شعيبا قال يا قوم اعبدوا الله ما لكم من إله غيره قد جاءتكم بينة } معجزة { من ربكم } على صدقي { فأوفوا } أتموا { الكيل والميزان ولا تبخسوا } تنقصوا { الناس أشياءهم ولا تفسدوا في الأرض } بالكفر والمعاصي { بعد إصلاحها } ببعث الرسل { ذلكم } المذكور { خير لكم إن كنتم مؤمنين } مريدي الإيمان فبادروا إليه . |
| £uô Madian, gmat sen Cuâayeb. Inna: "a yagdud iw! Âabdet Öebbi! Ur tesâim ôebbi war Neppa. Ni$ iusa kwen id ubeggen s$uô Mass nnwen. Ktilet, weznet, s lewqama. Ur îîuôôut medden di cci nnsen, ur ssefsadet di tmurt, deffir useêôet is. I kunwi yif it wayagi, ma d lmumnin ay tellam. |
| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | আমি মাদইয়ানের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েবকে প্রেরণ করেছি। সে বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়! তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন উপাস্য নেই। তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে প্রমাণ এসে গেছে। অতএব তোমরা মাপ ও ওজন পূর্ন কর এবং মানুষকে তাদের দ্রব্যদি কম দিয়ো না এবং ভুপৃষ্টের সংস্কার সাধন করার পর তাতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করো না। এই হল তোমাদের জন্যে কল্যাণকর, যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী হও। |
| Literal | And to Madya/an ancient city, that could have been by the Red Sea, (We sent) their brother Shu'aib, he said: "My nation, worship God, (there is) no God for you from other than Him, an evidence had come to you from your Lord, so fulfill/complete the measuring/weighing device, and the scale/measuring instrument , and do not reduce/cheat the people (from) their things, and do not corrupt/disorder in the earth/Planet Earth, (from) after its correction/repairment, that (is) better for you, if you were believing." |
| Yusuf Ali | To the Madyan people We sent Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah; Ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Sign) from your Lord! Give just measure and weight, nor withhold from the people the things that are their due; and do no mischief on the earth after it has been set in order: that will be best for you, if ye have Faith. |
| Pickthal | And unto Midian (We sent) their brother, Shu'eyb. He said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! a clear proof hath come unto you from your Lord; so give full measure and full weight and wrong not mankind in their goods, and work not confusion in the earth after the fair ordering thereof. That will be better for you, if ye are believers. |
| Arberry | And to Midian their brother Shuaib; he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other than He; there has now come to you a clear sign from your Lord. So fill up the measure and the balance, and diminish not the goods of the people; and do not corruption in the land, after it has been set right; that is better for you, if you are believers. |

Maintain proper measures and weights in trade. Do not cause any deficiency in people's property or destroy the land after it has been reformed. This is for your own good, if you have any faith. |

Do not corrupt the earth after it has been set straight. All this will be better for you if you would but believe. Learn from history about the outcome of the corrupt and the bloody criminals. |

Na tarotopa niyo so kapagasad go so kathimbang, go di niyo khorangi ko manga manosiya so nganinganin iran; go di kano phaminasa ko lopa ko oriyan o kiyatanor iyan. Giyoto man i mapiya rkano, o skano na khipaparatiyaya." |
