| 1 [2:35] | Waqulna ya adamu oskunanta wazawjuka aljannata wakula minha raghadan haythushi/tuma wala taqraba hathihi alshshajaratafatakoona mina alththalimeena |  وقلنا يا آدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة وكلا منها رغدا حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمينوَقُلْنَا يَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَكُلاَ مِنْهَا رَغَداً حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبَا هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الْظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وقلنا - And We said,| يا - O| آدم - "O Adam!| اسكن - Dwell| أنت - you| وزوجك - and your spouse| الجنة - (in) Paradise,| وكلا - and [you both] eat| منها - from it| رغدا - freely| حيث - (from) wherever| شئتما - you [both] wish.| ولا - But do not| تقربا - [you two] approach| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree,| فتكونا - lest you [both] be| من - of| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 2 [7:19] | Waya adamu oskun antawazawjuka aljannata fakula min haythu shi/tumawala taqraba hathihi alshshajaratafatakoona mina alththalimeena | ويا آدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة فكلا من حيث شئتما ولا تقربا هذه الشجرة فتكونا من الظالمين وَيَا آدَمُ اسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ الْجَنَّةَ فَكُلاَ مِنْ حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلاَ تَقْرَبَا هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ويا - And O| آدم - And O Adam!| اسكن - Dwell,| أنت - you| وزوجك - and your wife,| الجنة - (in) the Garden,| فكلا - and you both eat| من - from| حيث - wherever| شئتما - you both wish,| ولا - but (do) not| تقربا - approach [both of you]| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| فتكونا - lest you both be| من - among| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 3 [7:20] | Fawaswasa lahuma alshshaytanuliyubdiya lahuma ma wooriya AAanhuma minsaw-atihima waqala ma nahakumarabbukuma AAan hathihi alshshajarati illaan takoona malakayni aw takoona mina alkhalideena | فوسوس لهما الشيطان ليبدي لهما ما ووري عنهما من سوآتهما وقال ما نهاكما ربكما عن هذه الشجرة إلا أن تكونا ملكين أو تكونا من الخالدين فَوَسْوَسَ لَهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ لِيُبْدِيَ لَهُمَا مَا وُورِيَ عَنْهُمَا مِن سَوْءَاتِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَاكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنْ هَـذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ إِلاَّ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَيْنِ أَوْ تَكُونَا مِنَ الْخَالِدِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فوسوس - Then whispered| لهما - to both of them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| ليبدي - to make apparent| لهما - to both of them| ما - what| ووري - was concealed| عنهما - from both of them| من - of| سوآتهما - their shame.| وقال - And he said,| ما - "(Did) not| نهاكما - forbid you both| ربكما - your Lord| عن - from| هذه - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| إلا - except| أن - that| تكونا - you two become| ملكين - Angels| أو - or| تكونا - you two become| من - of| الخالدين - the immortals."| | ||||||
| 4 [7:22] | Fadallahuma bighuroorin falammathaqa alshshajarata badat lahuma saw-atuhumawatafiqa yakhsifani AAalayhimamin waraqi aljannati wanadahuma rabbuhumaalam anhakuma AAan tilkuma alshshajaratiwaaqul lakuma inna alshshaytana lakumaAAaduwwun mubeenun | فدلاهما بغرور فلما ذاقا الشجرة بدت لهما سوآتهما وطفقا يخصفان عليهما من ورق الجنة وناداهما ربهما ألم أنهكما عن تلكما الشجرة وأقل لكما إن الشيطان لكما عدو مبين فَدَلاَّهُمَا بِغُرُورٍ فَلَمَّا ذَاقَا الشَّجَرَةَ بَدَتْ لَهُمَا سَوْءَاتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ الْجَنَّةِ وَنَادَاهُمَا رَبُّهُمَا أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمَا عَن تِلْكُمَا الشَّجَرَةِ وَأَقُل لَّكُمَا إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمَا عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ | |||||
| Words | |فدلاهما - So he made both of them fall| بغرور - by deception.| فلما - Then when| ذاقا - they both tasted| الشجرة - the tree,| بدت - became apparent| لهما - to both of them| سوآتهما - their shame,| وطفقا - and they began| يخصفان - (to) fasten| عليهما - over themselves| من - from| ورق - (the) leaves| الجنة - (of) the Garden.| وناداهما - And called them both| ربهما - their Lord,| ألم - "Did not| أنهكما - I forbid you both| عن - from| تلكما - this| الشجرة - [the] tree| وأقل - and [I] say| لكما - to both of you,| إن - that| الشيطان - [the] Shaitaan| لكما - to both of you| عدو - (is) an enemy,| مبين - open?"| | ||||||
| 5 [28:30] | Falamma ataha noodiyamin shati-i alwadi al-aymani fee albuqAAati almubarakatimina alshshajarati an ya moosa innee anaAllahu rabbu alAAalameena | فلما أتاها نودي من شاطئ الواد الأيمن في البقعة المباركة من الشجرة أن يا موسى إني أنا الله رب العالمين فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِيَ مِن شَاطِئِ الْوَادِي الْأَيْمَنِ فِي الْبُقْعَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ مِنَ الشَّجَرَةِ أَن يَا مُوسَى إِنِّي أَنَا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فلما - But when| أتاها - he came (to) it,| نودي - he was called| من - from| شاطئ - (the) side| الواد - (of) the valley -| الأيمن - the right| في - in| البقعة - the place even,| المباركة - blessed,| من - from| الشجرة - the tree| أن - that,| يا - O| موسى - "O Musa!| إني - Indeed,| أنا - I Am| الله - Allah,| رب - (the) Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds.| | ||||||
| 6 [48:18] | Laqad radiya Allahu AAanialmu/mineena ith yubayiAAoonaka tahta alshshajaratifaAAalima ma fee quloobihim faanzala alsakeenataAAalayhim waathabahum fathan qareeban | لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين إذ يبايعونك تحت الشجرة فعلم ما في قلوبهم فأنزل السكينة عليهم وأثابهم فتحا قريبا لَقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا | |||||
| Words | |لقد - Certainly| رضي - Allah was pleased| الله - Allah was pleased| عن - with| المؤمنين - the believers| إذ - when| يبايعونك - they pledged allegiance to you| تحت - under| الشجرة - the tree,| فعلم - and He knew| ما - what| في - (was) in| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فأنزل - so He sent down| السكينة - the tranquility| عليهم - upon them| وأثابهم - and rewarded them| فتحا - (with) a victory| قريبا - near,| | ||||||
