| 1 [2:108] | Am tureedoona an tas-aloo rasoolakum kamasu-ila moosa min qablu waman yatabaddali alkufra bial-eemanifaqad dalla sawaa alssabeeli |  أم تريدون أن تسألوا رسولكم كما سئل موسى من قبل ومن يتبدل الكفر بالإيمان فقد ضل سواء السبيلأَمْ تُرِيدُونَ أَن تَسْأَلُواْ رَسُولَكُمْ كَمَا سُئِلَ مُوسَى مِن قَبْلُ وَمَن يَتَبَدَّلِ الْكُفْرَ بِالإِيمَانِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ | |||||

| 2 [2:177] | Laysa albirra an tuwalloo wujoohakum qibalaalmashriqi waalmaghribi walakinna albirra man amanabiAllahi waalyawmi al-akhiri waalmala-ikatiwaalkitabi waalnnabiyyeena waataalmala AAala hubbihi thawee alqurbawaalyatama waalmasakeena waibnaalssabeeli waalssa-ileena wafee alrriqabiwaaqama alssalata waataalzzakata waalmoofoona biAAahdihim ithaAAahadoo waalssabireena fee alba/sa-iwaalddarra-i waheena alba/si ola-ikaallatheena sadaqoo waola-ika humualmuttaqoona | ليس البر أن تولوا وجوهكم قبل المشرق والمغرب ولكن البر من آمن بالله واليوم الآخر والملائكة والكتاب والنبيين وآتى المال على حبه ذوي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل والسائلين وفي الرقاب وأقام الصلاة وآتى الزكاة والموفون بعهدهم إذا عاهدوا والصابرين في البأساء والضراء وحين البأس أولئك الذين صدقوا وأولئك هم المتقون لَّيْسَ الْبِرَّ أَن تُوَلُّواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلَـكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلآئِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ ذَوِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَالسَّآئِلِينَ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَالْمُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ إِذَا عَاهَدُواْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ فِي الْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَحِينَ الْبَأْسِ أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَأُولَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ليس - It is not| البر - [the] righteousness| أن - that| تولوا - you turn| وجوهكم - your faces| قبل - towards| المشرق - the east| والمغرب - and the west,| ولكن - [and] but| البر - the righteous[ness]| من - (is he) who| آمن - believes| بالله - in Allah| واليوم - and the Day| الآخر - [the] Last,| والملائكة - and the Angels,| والكتاب - and the Book,| والنبيين - and the Prophets,| وآتى - and gives| المال - the wealth| على - in| حبه - spite of his love (for it)| ذوي - (to) those| القربى - (of) the near relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy,| وابن - and (of)| السبيل - the wayfarer,| والسائلين - and those who ask,| وفي - and in| الرقاب - freeing the necks (slaves)| وأقام - and (who) establish| الصلاة - the prayer,| وآتى - and give| الزكاة - the zakah,| والموفون - and those who fulfill| بعهدهم - their covenant| إذا - when| عاهدوا - they make it;| والصابرين - and those who are patient| في - in| البأساء - [the] suffering| والضراء - and [the] hardship,| وحين - and (the) time| البأس - (of) [the] stress.| أولئك - Those| الذين - (are) the ones who| صدقوا - are true| وأولئك - and those,| هم - [they]| المتقون - (are) the righteous.| | ||||||
| 3 [2:215] | Yas-aloonaka matha yunfiqoona qul maanfaqtum min khayrin falilwalidayni waal-aqrabeenawaalyatama waalmasakeeni waibnialssabeeli wama tafAAaloo min khayrin fa-inna Allahabihi AAaleemun | يسألونك ماذا ينفقون قل ما أنفقتم من خير فللوالدين والأقربين واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل وما تفعلوا من خير فإن الله به عليم يَسْأَلُونَكَ مَاذَا يُنفِقُونَ قُلْ مَا أَنفَقْتُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ فَلِلْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالأَقْرَبِينَ وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا تَفْعَلُواْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |يسألونك - They ask you| ماذا - what| ينفقون - they (should) spend.| قل - Say,| ما - "Whatever| أنفقتم - you spend| من - of| خير - good,| فللوالدين - (is) for parents,| والأقربين - and the relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy,| وابن - and (of)| السبيل - the wayfarer.| وما - And whatever| تفعلوا - you do| من - of| خير - good.| فإن - So indeed,| الله - Allah| به - of it| عليم - (is) All-Aware.| | ||||||
| 4 [4:36] | WaoAAbudoo Allaha walatushrikoo bihi shay-an wabialwalidayni ihsananwabithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaaljari thee alqurba waaljarialjunubi waalssahibi bialjanbi waibnialssabeeli wama malakat aymanukum inna Allahala yuhibbu man kana mukhtalan fakhooran | واعبدوا الله ولا تشركوا به شيئا وبالوالدين إحسانا وبذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين والجار ذي القربى والجار الجنب والصاحب بالجنب وابن السبيل وما ملكت أيمانكم إن الله لا يحب من كان مختالا فخورا وَاعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ وَلاَ تُشْرِكُواْ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا وَبِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْجَارِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْجَارِ الْجُنُبِ وَالصَّاحِبِ بِالْجَنْبِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالاً فَخُورًا | |||||
| Words | |واعبدوا - And worship| الله - Allah| ولا - And (do) not| تشركوا - associate| به - with Him| شيئا - anything,| وبالوالدين - and to the parents| إحسانا - (do) good,| وبذي - and with| القربى - the relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans,| والمساكين - and the needy| والجار - and the neighbor| ذي - (who is)| القربى - near,| والجار - and the neighbor| الجنب - (who is) farther away,| والصاحب - and the companion| بالجنب - by your side| وابن - and the| السبيل - traveler| وما - and what| ملكت - possess[ed]| أيمانكم - your right hands.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| لا - (does) not| يحب - love| من - (the one) who| كان - is| مختالا - [a] proud| فخورا - (and) [a] boastful.| | ||||||
| 5 [4:44] | Alam tara ila allatheena ootoonaseeban mina alkitabi yashtaroona alddalalatawayureedoona an tadilloo alssabeela | ألم تر إلى الذين أوتوا نصيبا من الكتاب يشترون الضلالة ويريدون أن تضلوا السبيل أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ نَصِيبًا مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ يَشْتَرُونَ الضَّلاَلَةَ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَن تَضِلُّواْ السَّبِيلَ | |||||

| 6 [5:12] | Walaqad akhatha Allahu meethaqabanee isra-eela wabaAAathna minhumu ithnay AAasharanaqeeban waqala Allahu innee maAAakum la-inaqamtumu alssalata waataytumu alzzakatawaamantum birusulee waAAazzartumoohum waaqradtumuAllaha qardan hasanan laokaffiranna AAankumsayyi-atikum walaodkhilannakum jannatin tajree mintahtiha al-anharu faman kafara baAAda thalikaminkum faqad dalla sawaa alssabeeli | ولقد أخذ الله ميثاق بني إسرائيل وبعثنا منهم اثني عشر نقيبا وقال الله إني معكم لئن أقمتم الصلاة وآتيتم الزكاة وآمنتم برسلي وعزرتموهم وأقرضتم الله قرضا حسنا لأكفرن عنكم سيئاتكم ولأدخلنكم جنات تجري من تحتها الأنهار فمن كفر بعد ذلك منكم فقد ضل سواء السبيل وَلَقَدْ أَخَذَ اللّهُ مِيثَاقَ بَنِي إِسْرَآئِيلَ وَبَعَثْنَا مِنهُمُ اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ نَقِيبًا وَقَالَ اللّهُ إِنِّي مَعَكُمْ لَئِنْ أَقَمْتُمُ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتُمُ الزَّكَاةَ وَآمَنتُم بِرُسُلِي وَعَزَّرْتُمُوهُمْ وَأَقْرَضْتُمُ اللّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا لَّأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ فَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ مِنكُمْ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| أخذ - took| الله - Allah| ميثاق - a Covenant| بني - (from the) Children| إسرائيل - (of) Israel| وبعثنا - and We appointed| منهم - among them| اثني - two| عشر - (and) ten| نقيبا - leaders.| وقال - And said| الله - Allah,| إني - "Indeed, I (am)| معكم - with you,| لئن - if| أقمتم - you establish| الصلاة - the prayer| وآتيتم - and give| الزكاة - the zakah| وآمنتم - and you believe| برسلي - in My Messengers| وعزرتموهم - and you assist them| وأقرضتم - and you loan| الله - (to) Allah| قرضا - a loan| حسنا - goodly| لأكفرن - surely I will remove| عنكم - from you| سيئاتكم - your evil deeds| ولأدخلنكم - and I will surely admit you| جنات - (to) gardens| تجري - flow| من - from| تحتها - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers.| فمن - But whoever| كفر - disbelieved| بعد - after| ذلك - that| منكم - among you,| فقد - then certainly| ضل - he strayed| سواء - (from) the way,| السبيل - the right.| | ||||||
| 7 [5:60] | Qul hal onabbi-okum bisharrin min thalikamathoobatan AAinda Allahi man laAAanahu Allahuwaghadiba AAalayhi wajaAAala minhumu alqiradata waalkhanazeerawaAAabada alttaghooti ola-ika sharrun makananwaadallu AAan sawa-i alssabeeli | قل هل أنبئكم بشر من ذلك مثوبة عند الله من لعنه الله وغضب عليه وجعل منهم القردة والخنازير وعبد الطاغوت أولئك شر مكانا وأضل عن سواء السبيل قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ أُوْلَـئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَاناً وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| هل - "Shall| أنبئكم - I inform you| بشر - (of) worse| من - than| ذلك - that| مثوبة - (as) recompense| عند - from| الله - Allah?| من - Whom| لعنه - has (been) cursed| الله - (by) Allah| وغضب - and He became angry| عليه - with him| وجعل - and made| منهم - of them| القردة - [the] apes| والخنازير - and [the] swines,| وعبد - and (who) worshipped| الطاغوت - the false deities.| أولئك - Those| شر - (are) worse| مكانا - (in) position| وأضل - and farthest astray| عن - from| سواء - (the) even| السبيل - way."| | ||||||
| 8 [5:77] | Qul ya ahla alkitabi lataghloo fee deenikum ghayra alhaqqi wala tattabiAAooahwaa qawmin qad dalloo min qablu waadallookatheeran wadalloo AAan sawa-i alssabeeli | قل يا أهل الكتاب لا تغلوا في دينكم غير الحق ولا تتبعوا أهواء قوم قد ضلوا من قبل وأضلوا كثيرا وضلوا عن سواء السبيل قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لاَ تَغْلُواْ فِي دِينِكُمْ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ أَهْوَاءَ قَوْمٍ قَدْ ضَلُّواْ مِن قَبْلُ وَأَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرًا وَضَلُّواْ عَن سَوَاءِ السَّبِيلِ | |||||

| 9 [8:41] | WaiAAlamoo annama ghanimtummin shay-in faanna lillahi khumusahu walilrrasooliwalithee alqurba waalyatama waalmasakeeniwaibni alssabeeli in kuntum amantum biAllahiwama anzalna AAala AAabdina yawmaalfurqani yawma iltaqa aljamAAani waAllahuAAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | واعلموا أنما غنمتم من شيء فأن لله خمسه وللرسول ولذي القربى واليتامى والمساكين وابن السبيل إن كنتم آمنتم بالله وما أنزلنا على عبدنا يوم الفرقان يوم التقى الجمعان والله على كل شيء قدير وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَى وَالْيَتَامَى وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ إِن كُنتُمْ آمَنتُمْ بِاللّهِ وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ وَاللّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |واعلموا - And know| أنما - that what| غنمتم - you obtain (as) spoils of war| من - of| شيء - anything,| فأن - then that,| لله - for Allah| خمسه - (is) one fifth of it| وللرسول - and for the Messenger| ولذي - and for the| القربى - near relatives,| واليتامى - and the orphans| والمساكين - and the needy| وابن - and the| السبيل - wayfarer,| إن - if| كنتم - you| آمنتم - believe| بالله - in Allah,| وما - and (in) what| أنزلنا - We sent down| على - to| عبدنا - Our slave| يوم - (on the) day| الفرقان - (of) the criterion,| يوم - (the) day| التقى - (when) met| الجمعان - the two forces.| والله - And Allah| على - (is) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 10 [9:60] | Innama alssadaqatulilfuqara-i waalmasakeeni waalAAamileenaAAalayha waalmu-allafati quloobuhum wafee alrriqabiwaalgharimeena wafee sabeeli Allahi waibnialssabeeli fareedatan mina Allahi waAllahuAAaleemun hakeemun | إنما الصدقات للفقراء والمساكين والعاملين عليها والمؤلفة قلوبهم وفي الرقاب والغارمين وفي سبيل الله وابن السبيل فريضة من الله والله عليم حكيم إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاءِ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| الصدقات - the charities| للفقراء - (are) for the poor,| والمساكين - and the needy| والعاملين - and those who collect| عليها - them,| والمؤلفة - and the ones inclined| قلوبهم - their hearts,| وفي - and in| الرقاب - the (freeing of) the necks,| والغارمين - and for those in debt| وفي - and in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah,| وابن - and the wayfarer -| السبيل - and the wayfarer -| فريضة - an obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| والله - And Allah| عليم - (is) All-Knowing,| حكيم - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 11 [9:93] | Innama alssabeelu AAalaallatheena yasta/thinoonaka wahum aghniyaoradoo bi-an yakoonoo maAAa alkhawalifi watabaAAaAllahu AAala quloobihim fahum la yaAAlamoona | إنما السبيل على الذين يستأذنونك وهم أغنياء رضوا بأن يكونوا مع الخوالف وطبع الله على قلوبهم فهم لا يعلمون إِنَّمَا السَّبِيلُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَسْتَأْذِنُونَكَ وَهُمْ أَغْنِيَاءُ رَضُواْ بِأَن يَكُونُواْ مَعَ الْخَوَالِفِ وَطَبَعَ اللّهُ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |إنما - Only| السبيل - the way (blame)| على - (is) on| الذين - those who| يستأذنونك - ask your permission| وهم - while they| أغنياء - (are) rich.| رضوا - They (are) satisfied| بأن - to| يكونوا - be| مع - with| الخوالف - those who stay behind,| وطبع - and Allah sealed| الله - and Allah sealed| على - [on]| قلوبهم - their hearts,| فهم - so they| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 12 [13:33] | Afaman huwa qa-imun AAalakulli nafsin bima kasabat wajaAAaloo lillahi shurakaaqul sammoohum am tunabbi-oonahu bima la yaAAlamufee al-ardi am bithahirin minaalqawli bal zuyyina lillatheena kafaroo makruhum wasuddooAAani alssabeeli waman yudlili Allahu famalahu min hadin | أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت وجعلوا لله شركاء قل سموهم أم تنبئونه بما لا يعلم في الأرض أم بظاهر من القول بل زين للذين كفروا مكرهم وصدوا عن السبيل ومن يضلل الله فما له من هاد أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ عَلَى كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَجَعَلُواْ لِلّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لاَ يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَم بِظَاهِرٍ مِّنَ الْقَوْلِ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّواْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ | |||||
| Words | |أفمن - Is then He Who| هو - (He)| قائم - (is) a Maintainer| على - of| كل - every| نفس - soul| بما - for what| كسبت - it has earned?| وجعلوا - Yet they ascribe| لله - to Allah| شركاء - partners.| قل - Say,| سموهم - "Name them.| أم - Or| تنبئونه - (do) you inform Him| بما - of what| لا - not| يعلم - He knows| في - in| الأرض - the earth| أم - or| بظاهر - of the apparent| من - of| القول - the words?"| بل - Nay,| زين - (is) made fair-seeming| للذين - to those who| كفروا - disbelieve| مكرهم - their plotting,| وصدوا - and they are hindered| عن - from| السبيل - the Path.| ومن - And whoever| يضلل - (by) Allah| الله - Allah lets go astray| فما - then not| له - for him| من - any| هاد - guide.| | ||||||
| 13 [16:9] | WaAAala Allahi qasdu alssabeeliwaminha ja-irun walaw shaa lahadakumajmaAAeena | وعلى الله قصد السبيل ومنها جائر ولو شاء لهداكم أجمعين وَعَلَى اللّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَآئِرٌ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| قصد - (is) the direction| السبيل - (of) the way,| ومنها - and among them| جائر - (are) crooked.| ولو - And if| شاء - He willed,| لهداكم - surely He would have guided you| أجمعين - all.| | ||||||
| 14 [17:26] | Waati tha alqurba haqqahuwaalmiskeena waibna alssabeeli walatubaththir tabtheeran | وآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ولا تبذر تبذيرا وَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ وَلاَ تُبَذِّرْ تَبْذِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وآت - And give| ذا - the relatives| القربى - the relatives| حقه - his right,| والمسكين - and the needy,| وابن - and the wayfarer,| السبيل - and the wayfarer,| ولا - and (do) not| تبذر - spend| تبذيرا - wastefully.| | ||||||
| 15 [25:17] | Wayawma yahshuruhum wamayaAAbudoona min dooni Allahi fayaqoolu aantum adlaltumAAibadee haola-i am hum dalloo alssabeela | ويوم يحشرهم وما يعبدون من دون الله فيقول أأنتم أضللتم عبادي هؤلاء أم هم ضلوا السبيل وَيَوْمَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ أَأَنتُمْ أَضْلَلْتُمْ عِبَادِي هَؤُلَاءِ أَمْ هُمْ ضَلُّوا السَّبِيلَ | |||||
| Words | |ويوم - And (the) Day| يحشرهم - He will gather them| وما - and what| يعبدون - they worship| من - besides Allah| دون - besides Allah| الله - besides Allah| فيقول - and He will say,| أأنتم - "Did you| أضللتم - [you] mislead| عبادي - My slaves| هؤلاء - these| أم - or| هم - they| ضلوا - went astray| السبيل - (from) the way?"| | ||||||
| 16 [27:24] | Wajadtuha waqawmaha yasjudoonalilshshamsi min dooni Allahi wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli fahumla yahtadoona | وجدتها وقومها يسجدون للشمس من دون الله وزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل فهم لا يهتدون وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وجدتها - And I found her| وقومها - and her people| يسجدون - prostrating| للشمس - to the sun| من - instead of Allah,| دون - instead of Allah,| الله - instead of Allah,| وزين - and has made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds,| فصدهم - and averted them| عن - from| السبيل - the Way,| فهم - so they| لا - (are) not| يهتدون - guided,| | ||||||
| 17 [28:22] | Walamma tawajjaha tilqaamadyana qala AAasa rabbee an yahdiyanee sawaaalssabeeli | ولما توجه تلقاء مدين قال عسى ربي أن يهديني سواء السبيل وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَاءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَى رَبِّي أَن يَهْدِيَنِي سَوَاءَ السَّبِيلِ | |||||
| Words | |ولما - And when| توجه - he turned his face| تلقاء - towards| مدين - Madyan,| قال - he said,| عسى - "Perhaps| ربي - my Lord| أن - [that]| يهديني - will guide me| سواء - (to the) sound| السبيل - way."| | ||||||
| 18 [29:29] | A-innakum lata/toona alrrijalawataqtaAAoona alssabeela wata/toona fee nadeekumualmunkara fama kana jawaba qawmihi illaan qaloo i/tina biAAathabi Allahi inkunta mina alssadiqeena | أئنكم لتأتون الرجال وتقطعون السبيل وتأتون في ناديكم المنكر فما كان جواب قومه إلا أن قالوا ائتنا بعذاب الله إن كنت من الصادقين أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ | |||||
| Words | |أئنكم - Indeed, you| لتأتون - approach| الرجال - the men,| وتقطعون - and you cut off| السبيل - the road| وتأتون - and commit| في - in| ناديكم - your meetings| المنكر - evil?"| فما - And not| كان - was| جواب - (the) answer| قومه - (of) his people| إلا - except| أن - that| قالوا - they said,| ائتنا - "Bring upon us| بعذاب - (the) punishment| الله - (of) Allah| إن - if| كنت - you are| من - of| الصادقين - the truthful."| | ||||||
| 19 [29:38] | WaAAadan wathamooda waqad tabayyanalakum min masakinihim wazayyana lahumu alshshaytanuaAAmalahum fasaddahum AAani alssabeeli wakanoomustabsireena | وعادا وثمود وقد تبين لكم من مساكنهم وزين لهم الشيطان أعمالهم فصدهم عن السبيل وكانوا مستبصرين وَعَادًا وَثَمُودَ وَقَد تَّبَيَّنَ لَكُم مِّن مَّسَاكِنِهِمْ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَكَانُوا مُسْتَبْصِرِينَ | |||||
| Words | |وعادا - And Aad| وثمود - and Thamud,| وقد - and verily,| تبين - (has) become clear| لكم - to you| من - from| مساكنهم - their dwellings.| وزين - And made fair-seeming| لهم - to them| الشيطان - the Shaitaan| أعمالهم - their deeds| فصدهم - and averted them| عن - from| السبيل - the Way,| وكانوا - though they were| مستبصرين - endowed with insight.| | ||||||
| 20 [30:38] | Faati tha alqurba haqqahuwaalmiskeena waibna alssabeeli thalikakhayrun lillatheena yureedoona wajha Allahi waola-ikahumu almuflihoona | فآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ذلك خير للذين يريدون وجه الله وأولئك هم المفلحون فَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ وَالْمِسْكِينَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيلِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |فآت - So give| ذا - the relative| القربى - the relative| حقه - his right| والمسكين - and the poor| وابن - and the wayfarer.| السبيل - and the wayfarer.| ذلك - That| خير - (is) best| للذين - for those who| يريدون - desire| وجه - (the) Countenance| الله - (of) Allah.| وأولئك - And those,| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
