| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[16:9] | WaAAala Allahi qasdu alssabeeliwaminha ja-irun walaw shaa lahadakumajmaAAeena
|  وعلى الله قصد السبيل ومنها جائر ولو شاء لهداكم أجمعين
وَعَلَى اللّهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيلِ وَمِنْهَا جَآئِرٌ وَلَوْ شَاءَ لَهَدَاكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ |
| Words | |وعلى - And upon| الله - Allah| قصد - (is) the direction| السبيل - (of) the way,| ومنها - and among them| جائر - (are) crooked.| ولو - And if| شاء - He willed,| لهداكم - surely He would have guided you| أجمعين - all.| |

| በአላህም ላይ (በችሮታው) ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ መግለጽ አለበት፡፡ ከእርሷም (ከመንገድ) ጠማማ አልለ፡፡ በሻም ኖሮ ሁላችሁንም በእርግጥ ባቀናችሁ ነበር፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { وعلى الله قصد السبيل } أي بيان الطريق المستقيم { ومنها } أي السبيل { جائر } حائد عن الاستقامة { ولو شاء } هدايتكم { لهداكم } إلى قصد السبيل { أجمعين } فتهتدون إليه باختيار منكم. |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | সরল পথ আল্লাহ পর্যন্ত পৌছে এবং পথগুলোর মধ্যে কিছু বক্র পথও রয়েছে। তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের সবাইকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতে পারতেন। |
| Literal | And on God (is) the path's/way's objective/direction , and from it, (there is) unjust/deviation , and if He willed/wanted He would have guided you all together . |
| Yusuf Ali | And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. |
| Pickthal | And Allah's is the direction of the way, and some (roads) go not straight. And had He willed He would have led you all aright. |
