| 1 [3:26] | Quli allahumma malika almulkitu/tee almulka man tashao watanziAAu almulka mimman tashaowatuAAizzu man tashao watuthillu man tashaobiyadika alkhayru innaka AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun |  قل اللهم مالك الملك تؤتي الملك من تشاء وتنزع الملك ممن تشاء وتعز من تشاء وتذل من تشاء بيدك الخير إنك على كل شيء قديرقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتَـنْـزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say| اللهم - "O Allah!| مالك - Owner| الملك - (of) the Dominion,| تؤتي - You give| الملك - the dominion| من - (to) whom| تشاء - You will| وتنزع - and You take away| الملك - the dominion| ممن - from whom| تشاء - You will,| وتعز - and You honor| من - whom| تشاء - You will,| وتذل - and You humiliate| من - whom| تشاء - You will.| بيدك - In Your hand| الخير - (is all) the good.| إنك - Indeed, You| على - (are) on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:104] | Waltakun minkum ommatun yadAAoona ilaalkhayri waya/muroona bialmaAAroofi wayanhawna AAanialmunkari waola-ika humu almuflihoona | ولتكن منكم أمة يدعون إلى الخير ويأمرون بالمعروف وينهون عن المنكر وأولئك هم المفلحون وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولتكن - And let there be| منكم - among you| أمة - [a] people| يدعون - inviting| إلى - to| الخير - the good| ويأمرون - [and] enjoining| بالمعروف - the right,| وينهون - and forbidding| عن - from| المنكر - the wrong,| وأولئك - and those -| هم - they| المفلحون - (are) the successful ones.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:188] | Qul la amliku linafsee nafAAan waladarran illa ma shaa Allahuwalaw kuntu aAAlamu alghayba laistakthartu mina alkhayriwama massaniya alssoo-o in ana illanatheerun wabasheerun liqawmin yu/minoona | قل لا أملك لنفسي نفعا ولا ضرا إلا ما شاء الله ولو كنت أعلم الغيب لاستكثرت من الخير وما مسني السوء إن أنا إلا نذير وبشير لقوم يؤمنون قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي نَفْعًا وَلاَ ضَرًّا إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللّهُ وَلَوْ كُنتُ أَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ لاَسْتَكْثَرْتُ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَمَا مَسَّنِيَ السُّوءُ إِنْ أَنَاْ إِلاَّ نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| لا - "Not| أملك - I have power| لنفسي - for myself| نفعا - (to) benefit| ولا - and no| ضرا - (power to) harm,| إلا - except| ما - what| شاء - wills| الله - Allah.| ولو - And if| كنت - I would| أعلم - know| الغيب - (of) the unseen| لاستكثرت - surely I could have multiplied| من - of| الخير - the good| وما - and not| مسني - (could) have touched me| السوء - the evil.| إن - Not| أنا - (am) I| إلا - except| نذير - a warner| وبشير - and a bearer of good tidings| لقوم - to a people| يؤمنون - who believe."| | ||||||
| 4 [22:77] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanooirkaAAoo waosjudoo waoAAbudoo rabbakum waifAAalooalkhayra laAAallakum tuflihoona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا اركعوا واسجدوا واعبدوا ربكم وافعلوا الخير لعلكم تفلحون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ارْكَعُوا وَاسْجُدُوا وَاعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَافْعَلُوا الْخَيْرَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you who believe!| الذين - O you who believe!| آمنوا - O you who believe!| اركعوا - Bow| واسجدوا - and prostrate| واعبدوا - and worship| ربكم - your Lord| وافعلوا - and do| الخير - [the] good| لعلكم - so that you may| تفلحون - be successful.| | ||||||
| 5 [33:19] | Ashihhatan AAalaykum fa-itha jaaalkhawfu raaytahum yanthuroona ilayka tadooruaAAyunuhum kaallathee yughsha AAalayhi minaalmawti fa-itha thahaba alkhawfu salaqookumbi-alsinatin hidadin ashihhatan AAalaalkhayri ola-ika lam yu/minoo faahbata AllahuaAAmalahum wakana thalika AAala Allahiyaseeran | أشحة عليكم فإذا جاء الخوف رأيتهم ينظرون إليك تدور أعينهم كالذي يغشى عليه من الموت فإذا ذهب الخوف سلقوكم بألسنة حداد أشحة على الخير أولئك لم يؤمنوا فأحبط الله أعمالهم وكان ذلك على الله يسيرا أَشِحَّةً عَلَيْكُمْ فَإِذَا جَاءَ الْخَوْفُ رَأَيْتَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَيْكَ تَدُورُ أَعْيُنُهُمْ كَالَّذِي يُغْشَى عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ الْخَوْفُ سَلَقُوكُم بِأَلْسِنَةٍ حِدَادٍ أَشِحَّةً عَلَى الْخَيْرِ أُوْلَئِكَ لَمْ يُؤْمِنُوا فَأَحْبَطَ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَكَانَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |أشحة - Miserly| عليكم - towards you.| فإذا - But when| جاء - comes| الخوف - the fear,| رأيتهم - you see them| ينظرون - looking| إليك - at you,| تدور - revolving| أعينهم - their eyes| كالذي - like one who| يغشى - faints| عليه - faints| من - from| الموت - [the] death.| فإذا - But when| ذهب - departs| الخوف - the fear,| سلقوكم - they smite you| بألسنة - with tongues| حداد - sharp| أشحة - miserly| على - towards| الخير - the good.| أولئك - Those -| لم - not| يؤمنوا - they have believed,| فأحبط - so Allah made worthless| الله - so Allah made worthless| أعمالهم - their deeds.| وكان - And is| ذلك - that| على - for| الله - Allah| يسيرا - easy.| | ||||||
| 6 [38:32] | Faqala innee ahbabtu hubbaalkhayri AAan thikri rabbee hatta tawaratbialhijabi | فقال إني أحببت حب الخير عن ذكر ربي حتى توارت بالحجاب فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ | |||||
| Words | |فقال - And he said,| إني - "Indeed, I| أحببت - [I] preferred| حب - (the) love| الخير - (of) the good| عن - over| ذكر - (the) remembrance| ربي - (of) my Lord."| حتى - Until| توارت - they were hidden| بالحجاب - in the veil;| | ||||||
| 7 [41:49] | La yas-amu al-insanu min duAAa-ialkhayri wa-in massahu alshsharru fayaoosun qanootun | لا يسأم الإنسان من دعاء الخير وإن مسه الشر فيئوس قنوط لاَّ يَسْأَمُ الْإِنسَانُ مِن دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَؤُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ | |||||
| Words | |لا - (Does) not| يسأم - get tired| الإنسان - man| من - of| دعاء - praying| الخير - (for) the good,| وإن - but if| مسه - touches him| الشر - the evil| فيئوس - then he gives up hope| قنوط - (and) despairs.| | ||||||
| 8 [70:21] | Wa-itha massahu alkhayru manooAAan | وإذا مسه الخير منوعا وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا | |||||

| 9 [100:8] | Wa-innahu lihubbi alkhayri lashadeedun | وإنه لحب الخير لشديد وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ | |||||
