| بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ |

[41:49] | La yas-amu al-insanu min duAAa-ialkhayri wa-in massahu alshsharru fayaoosun qanootun
|  لا يسأم الإنسان من دعاء الخير وإن مسه الشر فيئوس قنوط
لاَّ يَسْأَمُ الْإِنسَانُ مِن دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِن مَّسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَؤُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ |
| Words | |لا - (Does) not| يسأم - get tired| الإنسان - man| من - of| دعاء - praying| الخير - (for) the good,| وإن - but if| مسه - touches him| الشر - the evil| فيئوس - then he gives up hope| قنوط - (and) despairs.| |

| ሰው በጎ ነገርን ከመለመን አይሰለችም፡፡ ክፉም ቢያገኘው ወዲያውኑ በጣም ተስፋ ቆራጭ ተበሳጭ ይኾናል፡፡ |
| آل الجلالين | { لا يسأم الإنسان من دعاء الخير } أي لا يزال يسأل ربه المال والصحة وغيرهما { وإن مسه الشر } الفقر والشدة { فيؤس قنوط } من رحمة الله، وهذا وما بعده في الكافرين . |

| মুহিউদ্দীন খান | মানুষ উন্নতি কামনায় ক্লান্ত হয় না; যদি তাকে অমঙ্গল স্পর্শ করে, তবে সে সম্পূর্ণ রূপে নিরাশ হয়ে পড়ে। |
| Literal | The human/mankind does not get bored/tired from the goodness' call/request/prayer , and if the bad/evil/harm touched him, so he is despairing/hopeless despaired. |
