| Words | |الحمد - (All) the praises and thanks| لله - (be) to Allah,| الذي - the One Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وجعل - and made| الظلمات - the darkness[es]| والنور - and the light.| ثم - Then| الذين - those who| كفروا - disbelieved| بربهم - in their Lord| يعدلون - equate others with Him.| | ||||||
| 3 [7:43] | WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihimmin ghillin tajree min tahtihimu al-anharu waqalooalhamdu lillahi allathee hadanalihatha wama kunna linahtadiya lawlaan hadana Allahu laqad jaat rusulurabbina bialhaqqi wanoodoo an tilkumualjannatu oorithtumooha bima kuntum taAAmaloona | ونزعنا ما في صدورهم من غل تجري من تحتهم الأنهار وقالوا الحمد لله الذي هدانا لهذا وما كنا لنهتدي لولا أن هدانا الله لقد جاءت رسل ربنا بالحق ونودوا أن تلكم الجنة أورثتموها بما كنتم تعملون وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهِمُ الْأَنْهَارُ وَقَالُواْ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي هَدَانَا لِهَـذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِنَهْتَدِيَ لَوْلاَ أَنْ هَدَانَا اللّهُ لَقَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ وَنُودُواْ أَن تِلْكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ونزعنا - And We will remove| ما - whatever| في - (is) in| صدورهم - their breasts| من - of| غل - malice.| تجري - Flows| من - from| تحتهم - underneath them| الأنهار - the rivers.| وقالوا - And they will say,| الحمد - "All the praise| لله - (is) for Allah,| الذي - the One Who| هدانا - guided us| لهذا - to this,| وما - and not| كنا - we were| لنهتدي - to receive guidance| لولا - if not| أن - [that]| هدانا - (had) guided us| الله - Allah.| لقد - Certainly,| جاءت - came| رسل - Messengers| ربنا - (of) our Lord| بالحق - with the truth."| ونودوا - And they will be addressed,| أن - [that]| تلكم - "This| الجنة - (is) Paradise,| أورثتموها - you have been made to inherit it| بما - for what| كنتم - you used to| تعملون - do."| | ||||||
| 4 [10:10] | DaAAwahum feeha subhanakaallahumma watahiyyatuhum feeha salamunwaakhiru daAAwahum ani alhamdu lillahirabbi alAAalameena | دعواهم فيها سبحانك اللهم وتحيتهم فيها سلام وآخر دعواهم أن الحمد لله رب العالمين دَعْوَاهُمْ فِيهَا سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَتَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلاَمٌ وَآخِرُ دَعْوَاهُمْ أَنِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |دعواهم - Their prayer| فيها - therein| سبحانك - (will be), "Glory be to You,| اللهم - O Allah!"| وتحيتهم - And their greeting| فيها - therein (will be),| سلام - "Peace."| وآخر - And the last| دعواهم - (of) their call| أن - (will be) [that]| الحمد - "All the Praise be| لله - to Allah,| رب - Lord| العالمين - (of) the worlds."| | ||||||
| 5 [14:39] | Alhamdu lillahi allatheewahaba lee AAala alkibari ismaAAeela wa-ishaqainna rabbee lasameeAAu aldduAAa/-i | الحمد لله الذي وهب لي على الكبر إسماعيل وإسحاق إن ربي لسميع الدعاء الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَقَ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ | |||||

| 6 [16:75] | Daraba Allahu mathalan AAabdanmamlookan la yaqdiru AAala shay-in waman razaqnahuminna rizqan hasanan fahuwa yunfiqu minhu sirranwajahran hal yastawoona alhamdu lillahi balaktharuhum la yaAAlamoona | ضرب الله مثلا عبدا مملوكا لا يقدر على شيء ومن رزقناه منا رزقا حسنا فهو ينفق منه سرا وجهرا هل يستوون الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون ضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوكًا لاَّ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَاهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا هَلْ يَسْتَوُونَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ضرب - Allah sets forth| الله - Allah sets forth| مثلا - the example| عبدا - (of) a slave| مملوكا - (who is) owned,| لا - not| يقدر - he has power| على - on| شيء - anything| ومن - and (one) whom| رزقناه - We provided him| منا - from Us| رزقا - a provision| حسنا - good,| فهو - so he| ينفق - spends| منه - from it,| سرا - secretly| وجهرا - and publicly.| هل - Can| يستوون - they be equal?| الحمد - All praise| لله - (is) for Allah!| بل - Nay,| أكثرهم - but most of them| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 7 [17:111] | Waquli alhamdu lillahi allatheelam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun feealmulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina alththulliwakabbirhu takbeeran | وقل الحمد لله الذي لم يتخذ ولدا ولم يكن له شريك في الملك ولم يكن له ولي من الذل وكبره تكبيرا وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الَّذِي لَمْ يَتَّخِذْ وَلَدًا وَلَم يَكُن لَّهُ شَرِيكٌ فِي الْمُلْكِ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلِيٌّ مِّنَ الذُّلَّ وَكَبِّرْهُ تَكْبِيرًا | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| الحمد - "All Praise| لله - (is) for Allah| الذي - the One Who| لم - has not taken| يتخذ - has not taken| ولدا - a son| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| شريك - a partner| في - in| الملك - the dominion,| ولم - and not| يكن - is| له - for Him| ولي - any protector| من - out of| الذل - weakness.| وكبره - And magnify Him| تكبيرا - (with all) magnificence."| | ||||||
| 8 [18:1] | Alhamdu lillahi allatheeanzala AAala AAabdihi alkitaba walam yajAAal lahuAAiwajan | الحمد لله الذي أنزل على عبده الكتاب ولم يجعل له عوجا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل لَّهُ عِوَجَا | |||||
| Words | |الحمد - All Praise| لله - (is) for Allah| الذي - the One Who| أنزل - (has) revealed| على - to| عبده - His slave| الكتاب - the Book,| ولم - and not| يجعل - (has) made| له - in it| عوجا - any crookedness.| | ||||||
| 9 [23:28] | Fa-itha istawayta anta waman maAAakaAAala alfulki faquli alhamdu lillahi allatheenajjana mina alqawmi alththalimeena | فإذا استويت أنت ومن معك على الفلك فقل الحمد لله الذي نجانا من القوم الظالمين فَإِذَا اسْتَوَيْتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى الْفُلْكِ فَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي نَجَّانَا مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ | |||||
| Words | |فإذا - And when| استويت - you (have) boarded| أنت - you,| ومن - and whoever| معك - (is) with you| على - [on]| الفلك - the ship| فقل - then say,| الحمد - "Praise| لله - (be) to Allah,| الذي - Who| نجانا - (has) saved us| من - from| القوم - the people -| الظالمين - the wrongdoers."| | ||||||
| 10 [27:15] | Walaqad atayna dawoodawasulaymana AAilman waqala alhamdulillahi allathee faddalana AAalakatheerin min AAibadihi almu/mineena | ولقد آتينا داوود وسليمان علما وقالا الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ عِلْمًا وَقَالَا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي فَضَّلَنَا عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِّنْ عِبَادِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And verily,| آتينا - We gave| داوود - Dawood| وسليمان - and Sulaiman| علما - knowledge,| وقالا - and they said,| الحمد - "Praise be| لله - to Allah| الذي - the One Who| فضلنا - has favored us| على - over| كثير - many| من - of| عباده - His servants| المؤمنين - the believers."| | ||||||
| 11 [27:59] | Quli alhamdu lillahi wasalamunAAala AAibadihi allatheena istafaallahu khayrun amma yushrikoona | قل الحمد لله وسلام على عباده الذين اصطفى آلله خير أما يشركون قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى عِبَادِهِ الَّذِينَ اصْطَفَى آللَّهُ خَيْرٌ أَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ | |||||
| Words | |قل - Say,| الحمد - "All praise (be)| لله - to Allah,| وسلام - and peace (be)| على - upon| عباده - His slaves| الذين - those whom| اصطفى - He has chosen.| آلله - Is Allah| خير - better| أما - or what| يشركون - they associate (with Him)?"| | ||||||
| 12 [27:93] | Waquli alhamdu lillahisayureekum ayatihi fataAArifoonaha wamarabbuka bighafilin AAamma taAAmaloona | وقل الحمد لله سيريكم آياته فتعرفونها وما ربك بغافل عما تعملون وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ آيَاتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وقل - And say,| الحمد - "All praise (be)| لله - to Allah,| سيريكم - He will show you| آياته - His Signs,| فتعرفونها - and you will recognize them.| وما - And your Lord is not| ربك - And your Lord is not| بغافل - unaware| عما - of what| تعملون - you do."| | ||||||
| 13 [28:70] | Wahuwa Allahu la ilahailla huwa lahu alhamdu fee al-oola waal-akhiratiwalahu alhukmu wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona | وهو الله لا إله إلا هو له الحمد في الأولى والآخرة وله الحكم وإليه ترجعون وَهُوَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأُولَى وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وهو - And He| الله - (is) Allah;| لا - (there is) no| إله - god| إلا - but| هو - He.| له - To Him| الحمد - (are due) all praises| في - in| الأولى - the first| والآخرة - and the last.| وله - And for Him| الحكم - (is) the Decision,| وإليه - and to Him| ترجعون - you will be returned.| | ||||||
| 14 [29:63] | Wala-in saaltahum man nazzala mina alssama-imaan faahya bihi al-arda min baAAdimawtiha layaqoolunna Allahu quli alhamdulillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAqiloona | ولئن سألتهم من نزل من السماء ماء فأحيا به الأرض من بعد موتها ليقولن الله قل الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعقلون وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الْأَرْضَ مِن بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| سألتهم - you ask them,| من - "Who| نزل - sends down| من - from| السماء - the sky| ماء - water| فأحيا - and gives life| به - thereby| الأرض - (to) the earth| من - after| بعد - after| موتها - its death?"| ليقولن - Surely, they would say,| الله - "Allah."| قل - Say,| الحمد - "All Praises| لله - (are) for Allah."| بل - But| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (do) not| يعقلون - use reason.| | ||||||
| 15 [30:18] | Walahu alhamdu fee alssamawatiwaal-ardi waAAashiyyan waheena tuthhiroona | وله الحمد في السماوات والأرض وعشيا وحين تظهرون وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وله - And for Him| الحمد - (are) all praises| في - in| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth| وعشيا - and (at) night| وحين - and when| تظهرون - you are at noon.| | ||||||
| 16 [31:25] | Wala-in saaltahum man khalaqa alssamawatiwaal-arda layaqoolunna Allahu quli alhamdulillahi bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona | ولئن سألتهم من خلق السماوات والأرض ليقولن الله قل الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ قُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |ولئن - And if| سألتهم - you ask them,| من - "Who| خلق - created| السماوات - the heavens| والأرض - and the earth?"| ليقولن - They will surely say,| الله - "Allah."| قل - Say,| الحمد - "All praises| لله - (are) for Allah."| بل - But| أكثرهم - most of them| لا - (do) not| يعلمون - know.| | ||||||
| 17 [34:1] | Alhamdu lillahi allatheelahu ma fee alssamawati wamafee al-ardi walahu alhamdu fee al-akhiratiwahuwa alhakeemu alkhabeeru | الحمد لله الذي له ما في السماوات وما في الأرض وله الحمد في الآخرة وهو الحكيم الخبير الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ | |||||

| 18 [35:1] | Alhamdu lillahi fatiri alssamawatiwaal-ardi jaAAili almala-ikatirusulan olee ajnihatin mathna wathulathawarubaAAa yazeedu fee alkhalqi ma yashaoinna Allaha AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | الحمد لله فاطر السماوات والأرض جاعل الملائكة رسلا أولي أجنحة مثنى وثلاث ورباع يزيد في الخلق ما يشاء إن الله على كل شيء قدير الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ فَاطِرِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ جَاعِلِ الْمَلَائِكَةِ رُسُلًا أُولِي أَجْنِحَةٍ مَّثْنَى وَثُلَاثَ وَرُبَاعَ يَزِيدُ فِي الْخَلْقِ مَا يَشَاءُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||

| 19 [35:34] | Waqaloo alhamdu lillahiallathee athhaba AAanna alhazana innarabbana laghafoorun shakoorun | وقالوا الحمد لله الذي أذهب عنا الحزن إن ربنا لغفور شكور وَقَالُوا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنَّا الْحَزَنَ إِنَّ رَبَّنَا لَغَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ | |||||
| Words | |وقالوا - And they (will) say,| الحمد - "All praises| لله - (be) to Allah| الذي - the One Who| أذهب - (has) removed| عنا - from us| الحزن - the sorrow.| إن - Indeed,| ربنا - our Lord| لغفور - (is) surely Oft-Forgiving,| شكور - Most Appreciative,| | ||||||
| 20 [39:29] | Daraba Allahu mathalan rajulanfeehi shurakao mutashakisoona warajulan salamanlirajulin hal yastawiyani mathalan alhamdu lillahibal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona | ضرب الله مثلا رجلا فيه شركاء متشاكسون ورجلا سلما لرجل هل يستويان مثلا الحمد لله بل أكثرهم لا يعلمون ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا رَّجُلًا فِيهِ شُرَكَاءَ مُتَشَاكِسُونَ وَرَجُلًا سَلَمًا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًا الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ | |||||
