| 1 [2:237] | Wa-in tallaqtumoohunna min qabli antamassoohunna waqad faradtum lahunna fareedatanfanisfu ma faradtum illa an yaAAfoonaaw yaAAfuwa allathee biyadihi AAuqdatu alnnikahiwaan taAAfoo aqrabu lilttaqwa wala tansawooalfadla baynakum inna Allaha bimataAAmaloona baseerun |  وإن طلقتموهن من قبل أن تمسوهن وقد فرضتم لهن فريضة فنصف ما فرضتم إلا أن يعفون أو يعفو الذي بيده عقدة النكاح وأن تعفوا أقرب للتقوى ولا تنسوا الفضل بينكم إن الله بما تعملون بصيروَإِن طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ إَلاَّ أَن يَعْفُونَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ عُقْدَةُ النِّكَاحِ وَأَن تَعْفُواْ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَلاَ تَنسَوُاْ الْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ إِنَّ اللّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |وإن - And if| طلقتموهن - you divorce them| من - from| قبل - before| أن - [that]| تمسوهن - you (have) touched them| وقد - while already| فرضتم - you have specified| لهن - for them| فريضة - an obligation (dower),| فنصف - then (give) half| ما - (of) what| فرضتم - you have specified,| إلا - unless| أن - [that]| يعفون - they (women) forgo (it)| أو - or| يعفو - forgoes| الذي - the one| بيده - in whose hands| عقدة - (is the) knot| النكاح - (of) the marriage.| وأن - And that| تعفوا - you forgo,| أقرب - (is) nearer| للتقوى - to [the] righteousness.| ولا - And (do) not| تنسوا - forget| الفضل - the graciousness| بينكم - among you.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| بما - of what| تعملون - you do| بصير - (is) All-Seer.| | ||||||
| 2 [3:167] | WaliyaAAlama allatheena nafaqoowaqeela lahum taAAalaw qatiloo fee sabeeli Allahiawi idfaAAoo qaloo law naAAlamu qitalan laittabaAAnakumhum lilkufri yawma-ithin aqrabu minhum lil-eemaniyaqooloona bi-afwahihim ma laysa fee quloobihim waAllahuaAAlamu bima yaktumoona | وليعلم الذين نافقوا وقيل لهم تعالوا قاتلوا في سبيل الله أو ادفعوا قالوا لو نعلم قتالا لاتبعناكم هم للكفر يومئذ أقرب منهم للإيمان يقولون بأفواههم ما ليس في قلوبهم والله أعلم بما يكتمون وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ نَافَقُواْ وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْاْ قَاتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُواْ قَالُواْ لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالاً لاَّتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِم مَّا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَ | |||||
| Words | |وليعلم - And that He (might) make evident| الذين - those who| نافقوا - (are) hypocrites.| وقيل - And it was said| لهم - to them,| تعالوا - "Come,| قاتلوا - fight| في - in| سبيل - (the) way| الله - (of) Allah| أو - or| ادفعوا - defend."| قالوا - They said,| لو - "If| نعلم - we knew| قتالا - fighting| لاتبعناكم - certainly we (would have) followed you."| هم - They -| للكفر - to disbelief| يومئذ - that day| أقرب - (were) nearer| منهم - than [them]| للإيمان - to the faith,| يقولون - saying| بأفواههم - with their mouths| ما - what| ليس - was not| في - in| قلوبهم - their hearts.| والله - And Allah| أعلم - (is) Most Knowing| بما - of what| يكتمون - they conceal.| | ||||||
| 3 [4:11] | Yooseekumu Allahu fee awladikumlilththakari mithlu haththialonthayayni fa-in kunna nisaan fawqa ithnatayni falahunnathulutha ma taraka wa-in kanat wahidatanfalaha alnnisfu wali-abawayhi likulli wahidinminhuma alssudusu mimma taraka in kanalahu waladun fa-in lam yakun lahu waladun wawarithahu abawahufali-ommihi alththuluthu fa-in kana lahu ikhwatunfali-ommihi alssudusu min baAAdi wasiyyatin yooseebiha aw daynin abaokum waabnaokum latadroona ayyuhum aqrabu lakum nafAAan fareedatan mina Allahiinna Allaha kana AAaleeman hakeeman | يوصيكم الله في أولادكم للذكر مثل حظ الأنثيين فإن كن نساء فوق اثنتين فلهن ثلثا ما ترك وإن كانت واحدة فلها النصف ولأبويه لكل واحد منهما السدس مما ترك إن كان له ولد فإن لم يكن له ولد وورثه أبواه فلأمه الثلث فإن كان له إخوة فلأمه السدس من بعد وصية يوصي بها أو دين آباؤكم وأبناؤكم لا تدرون أيهم أقرب لكم نفعا فريضة من الله إن الله كان عليما حكيما يُوصِيكُمُ اللّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِن كُنَّ نِسَاءً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِن كَانَتْ وَاحِدَةً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِن كَانَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ فَإِن لَّمْ يَكُن لَّهُ وَلَدٌ وَوَرِثَهُ أَبَوَاهُ فَلِأُمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِن كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِن بَعْدِ وَصِيَّةٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْنٍ آبَآؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعاً فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا | |||||
| Words | |يوصيكم - Instructs you| الله - Allah| في - concerning| أولادكم - your children -| للذكر - for the male| مثل - like| حظ - (the) portion| الأنثيين - (of) two females.| فإن - But if| كن - there are| نساء - (only) women| فوق - more (than)| اثنتين - two,| فلهن - then for them| ثلثا - two thirds| ما - (of) what| ترك - he left.| وإن - And if| كانت - (there) is| واحدة - (only) one,| فلها - then for her| النصف - (is) half.| ولأبويه - And for his parents,| لكل - for each| واحد - one| منهما - of them| السدس - a sixth| مما - of what| ترك - (is) left,| إن - if| كان - is| له - for him| ولد - a child.| فإن - But if| لم - not| يكن - is| له - for him| ولد - any child| وورثه - and inherit[ed] him| أبواه - his parents,| فلأمه - then for his mother| الثلث - (is) one third.| فإن - And if| كان - are| له - for him| إخوة - brothers and sisters,| فلأمه - then for his mother| السدس - (is) the sixth| من - from| بعد - after| وصية - any will| يوصي - he has made| بها - [of which]| أو - or| دين - any debt.| آباؤكم - Your parents| وأبناؤكم - and your children -| لا - not| تدرون - you know| أيهم - which of them| أقرب - (is) nearer| لكم - to you| نفعا - (in) benefit.| فريضة - An obligation| من - from| الله - Allah.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| كان - is| عليما - All-Knowing,| حكيما - All-Wise.| | ||||||
| 4 [5:8] | Ya ayyuha allatheena amanookoonoo qawwameena lillahi shuhadaa bialqistiwala yajrimannakum shanaanu qawmin AAala allataAAdiloo iAAdiloo huwa aqrabu lilttaqwa waittaqooAllaha inna Allaha khabeerun bima taAAmaloona | يا أيها الذين آمنوا كونوا قوامين لله شهداء بالقسط ولا يجرمنكم شنآن قوم على ألا تعدلوا اعدلوا هو أقرب للتقوى واتقوا الله إن الله خبير بما تعملون يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ كُونُواْ قَوَّامِينَ لِلّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلاَ يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلاَّ تَعْدِلُواْ اعْدِلُواْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ إِنَّ اللّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ | |||||
| Words | |يا - O| أيها - O you| الذين - who| آمنوا - believe!| كونوا - Be| قوامين - steadfast| لله - for Allah| شهداء - (as) witnesses| بالقسط - in justice,| ولا - and let not| يجرمنكم - prevent you| شنآن - hatred| قوم - (of) a people| على - [upon]| ألا - that not| تعدلوا - you do justice.| اعدلوا - Be just| هو - it| أقرب - (is) nearer| للتقوى - to [the] piety.| واتقوا - And fear| الله - Allah;| إن - indeed,| الله - Allah| خبير - (is) All-Aware| بما - of what| تعملون - you do.| | ||||||
| 5 [16:77] | Walillahi ghaybu alssamawatiwaal-ardi wama amru alssaAAatiilla kalamhi albasari aw huwa aqrabu innaAllaha AAala kulli shay-in qadeerun | ولله غيب السماوات والأرض وما أمر الساعة إلا كلمح البصر أو هو أقرب إن الله على كل شيء قدير وَلِلّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا أَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ إِلاَّ كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ إِنَّ اللّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ | |||||
| Words | |ولله - And to Allah (belongs)| غيب - (the) unseen| السماوات - (of) the heavens| والأرض - and the earth.| وما - And not| أمر - (is the) matter| الساعة - (of) the Hour| إلا - but| كلمح - as a twinkling| البصر - (of) the eye| أو - or| هو - it| أقرب - (is) nearer.| إن - Indeed,| الله - Allah| على - on| كل - every| شيء - thing| قدير - (is) All-Powerful.| | ||||||
| 6 [17:57] | Ola-ika allatheena yadAAoonayabtaghoona ila rabbihimu alwaseelata ayyuhum aqrabuwayarjoona rahmatahu wayakhafoona AAathabahuinna AAathaba rabbika kana mahthooran | أولئك الذين يدعون يبتغون إلى ربهم الوسيلة أيهم أقرب ويرجون رحمته ويخافون عذابه إن عذاب ربك كان محذورا أُولَـئِكَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ يَبْتَغُونَ إِلَى رَبِّهِمُ الْوَسِيلَةَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ وَيَرْجُونَ رَحْمَتَهُ وَيَخَافُونَ عَذَابَهُ إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ كَانَ مَحْذُورًا | |||||
| Words | |أولئك - Those| الذين - whom| يدعون - they call,| يبتغون - seek| إلى - to| ربهم - their Lord| الوسيلة - the means of access,| أيهم - which of them| أقرب - (is) nearest,| ويرجون - and they hope| رحمته - (for) His mercy| ويخافون - and fear| عذابه - His punishment.| إن - Indeed,| عذاب - (the) punishment| ربك - (of) your Lord| كان - is| محذورا - (ever) feared.| | ||||||
| 7 [22:13] | YadAAoo laman darruhu aqrabu minnafAAihi labi/sa almawla walabi/sa alAAasheeru | يدعو لمن ضره أقرب من نفعه لبئس المولى ولبئس العشير يَدْعُواْ لَمَن ضَرُّهُ أَقْرَبُ مِن نَّفْعِهِ لَبِئْسَ الْمَوْلَى وَلَبِئْسَ الْعَشِيرُ | |||||
| Words | |يدعو - He calls| لمن - (one) who -| ضره - his harm| أقرب - (is) closer| من - than| نفعه - his benefit.| لبئس - Surely, an evil| المولى - protector| ولبئس - and surely an evil| العشير - friend!| | ||||||
| 8 [50:16] | Walaqad khalaqna al-insanawanaAAlamu ma tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wanahnu aqrabuilayhi min habli alwareedi | ولقد خلقنا الإنسان ونعلم ما توسوس به نفسه ونحن أقرب إليه من حبل الوريد وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهِ نَفْسُهُ وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيدِ | |||||
| Words | |ولقد - And certainly| خلقنا - We created| الإنسان - man| ونعلم - and We know| ما - what| توسوس - whispers| به - to him| نفسه - his soul,| ونحن - and We| أقرب - (are) nearer| إليه - to him| من - than| حبل - (his) jugular vein.| الوريد - (his) jugular vein.| | ||||||
| 9 [56:85] | Wanahnu aqrabu ilayhi minkum walakinla tubsiroona | ونحن أقرب إليه منكم ولكن لا تبصرون وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ | |||||
